Well, I thought I would write my first blog in here to let everyone know that this deployment is coming very close to being over. All you military women know what kind of stress and strain this can puton a marriage ir relationship. Our 15 months is finally coming to an end. I just want to thank all of the wonderful people I have out there in cyber space, you all have been great. I wish you all the very best. I know 15 months is along time and believe me, I never thought I would make it through it. But, it takes you and your partner to do this. Plus, the support of your family and friends. So, to anyone going through a deployment I wish you and your partner the very best. It is hard at times but in the long run just remember how great the reunion will be. Snowfall
I went outside to take some trash and recyclables to their temporary spot until Thursday morning (garbage day). When I opened the door, I noticed that it had begun to snow. It was so beautiful. Not threatening as how a blizzard is or even a nice rain that I enjoy. This was peaceful and quiet. I wanted to see it a little longer, so I stayed and smoked a cigarette while sitting on the picnic table under the shelter. I watched for quite a while and then I realized that even though there were so many snowflakes falling they never disturbed one another. They all respected each ones individual space on the journey. Not like rain, splashing and combining into one force, making ample noise to announce their presence. So here's how my Thanksgiving went down. I came over to my folks' house, but only the dog responded. It turned out that they were in the back garden. Once we had met up, Mom "directed" me and Dad in preparing those portions of the meals which we had not previously prepared yesterday. My Philosophy...(a Repost)

(sorry this is so long but bear with me. I Quit (i Hope)
Attention...As of 12:01 AM CST of 20 Jan 07, i am taking what will be my last drag of a cigarette for what will hopefully be a really really long time. My Dog
I got to see him last night. He totally blew off my ex and sat on my lap the whole time I was there..after we took a fairly long walk. Combatives Training
well i just finished my last day of combatives training. its was some good training, even though yesterday we had to get punched. i actually enjoyed being punched.we had to go 4 rounds getting punched till we put the instructors in a clinching hold. the first 2 rounds i had the same guy, when my 3 round came around it looked like i was getting the same guy. well he switched places with a guy who had been staring at me since he had got there. I dont like being stared at by any guy, so i did what i always do, stared back and tried to piss him off. well we started out by tounching hands like do in boxing(even though i couldnt hit back). we started moving towards eachother, he threw a punch, i let it hit me, same with the following 2 punches. he threw another punch, and i looked at him and smiled. i finally pissed the guy off, too bad it didnt last long. after he was pissed, i clinched him up. sucks to be him, he got embarrassed by the other instructors as well as my fellow trainees.

Today was fairly productive, i made a list of things to finish. and i finished almost all of them. I Just Can't Stop Crying. . .
My best friend Brandy's mom passed away this morning around midnight from surgery complications. I doubt I'll be on for a while. I have so much to help Brandy do regarding the funeral. My friend is only 16 and she's sole beneficiary. My gods it hurts so bad. Her mom was just like my mom. I loved her like my mom, and I always will. I miss her so much. Mom had gastric bypass surgery 3 weeks and 1 day ago today. Ultimately, that's what killed her. I just miss her so fucking much. And I feel so bad because someone turned the ringer off on the house phone last night and I missed the first call regarding her death. I dunno what to do. I feel so damn lost. Wake Up Calls
usually come at the worst time.. today with some help I realize that i'm not living the life i should I'm doing things that I shouldn't and I'm not hitting my main goals in life for such a strong person suposably I'm such a weak individual i've turned into the cliche teenager and done things I swore never to. I met Gerard on New Year's Eve. "G" as I call him most of the time is a sweet friend of mine who I haven't spent a lot of time with lately but have been known to spend time with him on the phone, IM, email and of course on CT in the shoutbox.
