Well Travis got sent home from school early on Wednesday and i took him to the doctor Yesterday to find out that he had Strep-Throat and the flu!! I'm such a geek. I was thinking about an old MUD that I used to play on AOL about 10 years ago called Federation. Way back when it was free and all. It was neat. I had my ship and I ran a good cargo service. Bought my own planet, hung out on Mars in Diesel's Cafe and even got married online while Jimmy Buffet played in the background (which meant someone was typing the lyrics). A few months after I was fully into it it was announced that Federation would be moving off of AOL and would start charging. It's About Time
I've been in bed almost non-stop since last Tuesday. Between migraines and mood swings there was not much worth being awake for. I woke for a session or two and cancelled others. About 4 this morning My neighbor came up here to hang out. For the most part of the past few weeks I had eaten mainly salads and roasted chicken every day, but this morning we went and bought red velvet cake and black raspberry chocolate chunk ice cream. In the next few weeks ill be moving to a new place. Living With Depression/anxiety
It's been awhile since I have written anything about myself, so I here I am. I figured this would be a good place to start for those who don't know me yet or a helpful guide for those who do. I was diagnosed with severe depression with high anxiety (along with low self esteem and a couple fear related disorders) last year. Now before anyone get's the wrong idea, most of the time I am fine. Normal everyday person. Granted, my nerves/anxiety tends to really kick in when I am in large groups of people. Also, beautiful women tend to set off my nerves as well. Think of it as your average person getting the case of the nerves times ten. The depression comes and goes on it's own. Sometimes random events trigger it. Sometimes it just hits me out of no where. I've also noticed my migrane medication tends to set it into high gear when I take a full dose. Nice... Sometimes my writings are done out of anger, or lust, or friendship. Sometimes they mean nothing, sometimes they mean too much. Sometimes people read into them too much and don't realize it was just a piece I felt the need to write. I get confused, I get hurt, I get happy. I write to write, to make people think, to possibably become a muse to someone. I enjoy the thought of making others think about what I am saying. Three More Months
Well I'm down to about three more months. I've experienced a lot in my two tours over here. Maybe more than I would have ever wanted. I think I've had enough adventure for one lifetime. We talked with the doctors this weekend and its looking pretty bad. They say that they do a trial breathing test each morning to see how she is going to do breathing on her own. She is not doing well at all. She has pnumonia in both lungs, pretty bad, and her lungs are so weak already thats its taken a toll on her. I Am Back Home
I am back home, I know, so soon, but the dollar is not doing well against the Euro and i had to come home early. Reflections On Relationships
Instead of writing about my day as I usually do when I am not writing Poems. I thought I'd just write straight about how I feel about things in general. I'll try not to get too emo on everything. I've had my fair share of downsliding on friendship, actually just relationships in general. Be it platonic or not. I've attempted to have friends on a platonic level. They have resulted in too much as usual. They usual get so intense they turn into something i don't want. Or they start off good and work backwards. I'm still hoping for the best no matter what.
