What The Guard Does
Recently something has been getting on my nerves, the fact that people hear that I am in the National Guard and they say the National Guard don't do nothing. Well the fact is the National Guard does alot, more than people realize. So I am going to share what we guardsmen and guardswomen do. We responde to state emergencies, we deploy world wide to places such as Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan. We are regular people who at a moments notice have to go from our familys to be activated. Also not to many people know that alot of the invadeing forces into Afghanistan and Iraq were National Guard. So when someone says they are in the National Guard just remember they do alot more than you think.

Linguine With White Clam Sauce
LINGUINE WITH WHITE CLAM SAUCE 8 ounces linguine 2 6 1/2 cans minced clams light cream or milk 1/2 cup chipped onion 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 tablespoons butter ot margarine 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper 1/4 teaspoon parsley 1/4 cup dry white wine 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Cook linguine according to package directions. Drain and set aside. Meanwhile, drain clams, reserving liquid from one can. Add enough light cream or milk to the reserved liquid to make 2 cups. For sauce, in a medium saucepan cook onion and garlic in butter or margarine till tender. Stir in flour,oregano, salt and pepper. Add cream mixture all at once. Cook an stir till thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 1 minute more. Stir in clams, parsley and wine. Heat through. Serve sauce over linguine. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Makes 4 servings.

As part of her getting me evicted from my own home, the Judge decided that I was not allowed anywhere near the house ever again.....so when I see the boys she has to bring them to me.....simple you might think.......NOOOOOOOOOO Way, tomorrow I am taking them swimming and then off to a local town for the afternoon and have asked her to drop the boys off where we are going swimming...fair request you might think...... Think again....she has told me to pick them up from a park which is less than half a mile from the house rather than put herself out and drive them the extra 2 miles to where I have asked....so for that to happen, I have to drive 50 miles from my place, park the car at the park, pick up the boys, get a taxi......$10 each way, take them swimming, $15/$20, take the train, another $20 and what ever we spend while out in town, lunch and so on when all it will cost her is less than $2 in fuel.......Oh gee, do you think I should give in????

A New Venture
For a long time, I've lamented never having gotten anywhere with my music, but it recently occurred to me that I've never really tried. Sure, I've put some stuff out there, But I haven't been terribly professional about it and I think it's time to change that. To that end, I've decided to join taxi.com at the beginning of the year (need time to save up some money). It's an independent A&R company that sends it's members listings of requests from record companies, publishers and tv/film music supervisors (the ones that I'd be focusing on). Then, their specialists (who are very reputable) listen to the music sent in and if they think that it's appropriate for the listing they send it on and if not they return it with a critique (that part might be a little hard of the old ego lol). On the positive side, it could be a way to finally make some money from my music, get better as a composer, break into composing for movies and tv (I've wanted to do that for a while) and, if it works out,

So I have come up with a few possiblities why I hate driving on thursdays. Driving alot on thursdays i tend to notice. a. I hate people b. Back At Home
Well people I am back home now. The surgery went as hoped. I can walk without a cane or crutch again. My legs dont go numb or limp. WOOHOO I will be able to return to work in a few months. Right now I am in pain because they had to cut through 7 layers of muscle. The surgery took longer than planned because the L5 and S1 had mushroomed quite a bit and when they shaved them smooth they open a bit of marrow. Also because the disc was not Herniated they had a harder time removing it. I am pumping up my fiber, protein, and iron in my diet to had more for my body to rebuild the muscle faster. The muscle should be fine within a month I hope and the bones should be done within 6 months. As for driving a truck I will be able to get the waiver to drive and get back to making money. WOOHOO!!!!

It just keeps getting worse. So I was supposed to get a call today about what is wrong with my car. Only; I found out MY CAR IS MISSING! They have no idea where my car is at. Smooth Operator?
This past Sunday we had a group of five guys come in to the tux shop to get fitted for a wedding. The groomsmen were hilarious, proclaiming to the groom that they were in the store to get fitted for the groom's funeral, instead of his wedding. After the manager and I got them all fitted, I asked them what they were doing afterward, and the groom responded, "Draaaanking." It made me laugh out loud. They were a bunch of funny dudes. While I was fitting groomsman number three, he randomly asked me if he could give me a hug. I raised my eyebrow a bit, and he said he just wanted to to test the fit of the jacket, and make sure it was comfortable. I let him hug me. It was a valid bit of research I suppose. It didn't come off creepy, just funny, though I seriously doubt he would have tried it on my male co-worker. Either he really was testing the jacket, or he was one smooth operator. So I have declared today "National Douchebag Day!" I have been up for about 2 hours and have already blocked 3 guys and am thinking about blocking a fourth. Wtf is up today? This One Time At Rough Riders
I met Jeff at a Charity function they were having at the hotel. It wasn't the type where they ask for donations and have auctions and themes. Those are cool. It was the type they have for the actual charity cases. Those are lame. It was a Christmas party and the Rough Riders were going to show up and deliver bears to the guests. Tracy said i had to go. She said that the Rough Riders are always hot and into charities so they must be good people. Sometimes I think Tracy Just says stuff to get me to do things I normally wouldn't bother with. Omg What To Do?
So, am going to have the next 4 days off Thur-Sun! OMG!! My last days off were the 8th and the 13th of this month. No wonder I am so damn tired!! I hadn't realised I worked so much. Operation Trojan Horse Part 5 The captain sat at his desk, deep in thought. The dice had been thrown and there was no going back now. So many variables beyond his control. If the source of the information leak were traced back to him, his lifetime would be reduced to hours, each one spent in excruciating pain. He had built up his network of moles, spies and informers over many years. He knew the strengths and weaknesses of each man. Indeed, he had gambled on this knowledge before and had been vindicated each time. The chain was long enough, but all it would take is one weak link. Ultimately, the gamble was like a double edged sword. The only thing more dangerous than wielding it would have been to leave it. Madness would have eaten away at his mind until he had either taken his own life or become a lifetime resident of some lunatic asylum.

Losing All Faith In Humanity.
My best friend and I were out driving last night, when a woman flagged us down. She looked disorientated, and wanted a ride home. Claimed she had a flat tire. We agreed and off we went. This woman was apparently on some kind of substance, but we weren't sure what. Well we dropped her off and my best friend asked me to grab the bag out of the back, make sure her valuables were still there. Her camera was missing. We searched the car high and low, went back to her house and searched, but it wasn't anywhere to be found. How can someone steal something from a person who's doing them a favor? Granted, she left her purse in the back of the car, but it's still not right.

My best friend's name is Anne. She goes by aMMo on here. I feel that I am the luckiest person to have her as my best friend. This is a woman who does things for those she loves with out thought of wanting anything in return. She is there during the good times and is always there during the bad times. For those of you that didnt know. I spent yesterday after noon in the ER at St Peters Hospital with chest pains. Around noon I started having a dull/throbbing pian in my chest that radiated up to my left shoulder. Mom got back from my brothers house and I told her about it and she took me in. After about 8 hours, both EKG's came back normal, as well as the blood work... countless pokes and prods, I came home with the diagnosis of "chest pain-non specific". "Non-specific means that the cause of the chest pain is not clear. Causes of this include injury/inflamation of the ribs, muscles or other chest wall structure, inflamation of the pleura, esophageal problems and other conditions. Although heart disease is considered to be unlikely, it has not been completely ruled out" I have to make some follow-up appts. so I will keep you posted!

All Moved In
So many new things to remember, new road names, new area, new home. new people too. some not as nice as where i grew up. Driving here can sometimes be an excersize in survival. but i am learning. I do not regret deciding to move here. Mike and I are doing wonderfully. He is everything i always needed, and more. the kids are starting to adjust, and they are all in school now. the only down side is that kindergarten is only half day here. I miss my family, but not as much as I thought i would. i sure as hell don't miss that town. I have already changed my license over, and gotten a new job which i will start on the 25th. everything is coming along quite nicely. and I couldn't be happier.

as i sit aimlessly wondering what tomorrow might bring i can't help but to start to think of you. The way u make me smile without effort. How excited i get when my phone rings. I was offered an office secretary job and I accepted it. I'm so happy right now it's unbelievable. I'll start in two to four weeks. No more barely making it. (for now.) Now I can move forward in my life. It's a good feeling. A very good feeling. Wish me luck!

Seth went to the hospital on Friday (September 16th) afternoon. I took him in to E.R. at about 2:30 because he was having trouble with his breathing. They checked his oxygen level and it was at 84% right when we got there and I have given him three or four breathing treatments prior to the hospital visit. So they gave him three more breathing treatments and a dose of prednisolone (a steroid) and checked his oxygen level again and it was only at 89%... It's supposed to be up to 96%. So they kept him! They just put him on oxygen to help boost it up, but he ended up staying over-night at the hospital and the doctor said it was a good thing he was there because he got worse through the night. His oxygen level dropped to 88% WITH the oxygen. He was still on oxygen on Saturday and was keeping his level steady between 95 and 98%, but they kept him over-night again on Saturday. His oxygen got turned off Sunday morning FINALLY and he maintained an oxygen level between 95 and 97% on his

My Tooth
My poor little fractured tooth is no more. And ya know what, besides the swelling that now needs to go down(and it already is), I actually have very little pain. Back At Work Today

Reasons To Become A Nun
October 19th 2006 What the hell this has been a week for man issues. I think that I sould just become a nun and not have to worry about it anymore. I Feel Sad
I miss my woman. We were together for 8 years. It's been two years since we broke up. We still talk and see each other, but not very often. Maybe three times a month if I am lucky. I just miss her. To make things worse. I fell last week and cracked my tail bone. You talk about painful!!!! Then my damn truck broke down. Fucking transmission went out on it. $2100 to fix.
