Body Fat/i Need Help!
Ok now I'm a little pissed off! The Army decided to change it's standerds on weight...yeah for toothpicks. Where I was just fine I'm now have 5% too much body fat... I'm so mad I can't see straight! I just cut out soda and now I just want to starve myself becaus I have one month to get it under controll or they won't let me go to basic. I want to go so bad! I've been working so hard. When I firs joined I could do no push ups like 3 sit ups and my mile was like 9.55. Now I can do 10 push ups 28 sit ups and my mile is 8.35. Those are all in one miunute. So if any of you guys have any solid tips on body fat reduction please let me know. (I'm not into falling for diet pills...they are a waste of time and money) I need help please guys! thanx.

Carowinds
I went 2 Carowinds!!! I had sooo much fun there!!! I wanna go back lol! we was there for 2 days!!! i got on everything! my fav was the Topgun, Borg, and The Drop Zone! The Topgun was sooooo fast and fun!!! on that ride that had a cam on the seats so u can c what u look like throught the hole ride ( i did not buy 1 ) and the Borg was a fun ride 2. it was like i was flying. it was a little slow thoBut the Drop Zone was sooo much fun!!!! I got on it 20 times in a row lol ( the line 4 it was very short ) and i went 2 the water park 2 that was alot of fun ( my nepher fell off 1 of the tubes on a waterslide and the tube was stuck ) and there was this 1 but water slide. it went soo fast that a girl top came off lol and the next day was even better!!! i met these 3 girls they was sooo awsome!!! 1 of them was soooo laid back and anothe 1 was soooooo wiled and the other 1 was brave!!! imma miss thoes girls and i had alot of fun there! i cant wate till i go back = - )

Tournament Coming Up
well i have a tournament in two weeks, and i am nervous. this will be my first tournament competing at intermediate level (i have always competed novice). anyway, i am not big into my forms division, and i am not really sure how much i care how well i do in that division, but my fighting division...i am a nervous wreck. i know a few people that will be in my new divisions, and one of them i doubt i will ever have to worry about too much, and then there is one that i know she is very good, and i have a feeling i will have to lose some before i can learn how to beat her. she is really good, and she has a good reach advantage on me. the crappy thing is, she isn't even an intermediate belt, she is one away from black, and she should be in the advanced divisions, but such is life. i just hope that i can stay on top of my game, and hopefully beat her in due time. well that is my rant for th day. till next time....cheers!

Waking Nightmares
Sometimes I think having an over active imaginatino can be a bad thing, that coupled with a delicate sensibility, tends to give me waking nightmares that I cant seem to block out of my head and bring me to tears. I wonder if this is something really wrong with me, or if its okay. Recently a bridge collapsed in Minnasota, and I cant stop thinking about how horrible it would be. I've had many thoughts about what I might have done in such a situation; with things ranging from if I was all alone, or with friends; which way I was going on the bridge, ect. I think its really morbid and I dont want to think about it at all really, but I keep getting reminded of it by things. (Maybe because I work on the river...i dunno.)

Surgery's Done - What's Next!
YES!!! I had the surgery done on Monday morning and it went off without complication. As of now, I am having difficulty keeping my balance and my hand-eye coordination is a little messed up. I also have headaches and nausea from time to time, but I think that's moreso the chemotherapy that I had early Tuesday morning. So for those who wondered and/or worried, I am still here and doing OK! So what's next?: I will have a few more chemo treatments and maybe a gamma needle implantation to completely kill whatever is left after the surgery. I knew this was not gonna be an easy road for me, but I chose to fight instead of do nothing and let it consume me. I have a lot of people backing me up here, and I personally thank each and every one of you. If not for your love and support, this angel may not be fighting as hard as he is! i am 31 and all my life family has been a big part of my life even if some of my family hasnt seen it that way to stop fussin and fighting ... i didnt grow up with my mom and dad but i grew up with my grand parents so i am close or was close to alot of my cousins and all... but when i got married i made contact with my dad and mom and family i never really knew anything about... but i have several sets of grand parents and well this past week i found out that one of my grand dads has lung cancer mind u its the same thing my uncle died of 10 yrs ago nov... seeing the pain and all he went threw it hurts to know that my grand[pa is going threw that it has completely destroyed one of his lungs and has started on the other his liver is gone and he has strokes so i know he wont be here much longer... its sad to know that my kids will never know these people because people now days dont know the meaning of family and true love i cherish everyday with my kids because you never know

I just wanted to let the world know I have turned over a new leaf. I have recently reunited with a past friend. He fills that void I had in my life. I love him more than I could ever possibly show him. He is wonderful to me and my children. By The End Of The Year
On Sunday night, my dad informed me that we will be moving by the end of the year. The people who own where we live now have decided to let the residents buy the places they live in. Bringing My Mother Home To Die…
This is not a post for sympathy…it is actually a celebration of my mother’s life. Hospice brought her home to me Thursday evening with 24/7 nursing care on top of that. I am so happy she was able to come home in her final days. She has wanted nothing more than to be home since her health and mind turned bad 18 months ago. Because of her mental health, I was unable to care for her…until now. When she had to go from home health to assisted living, I felt bad. Conclusion
Well I've finally come to the conclusion that long distance relationships DO NOT work...Sure it was still fun getting to know this person, the hours spent at the start chatting camming etc no grudges there but i think for it to keep working communication from both parties is the key lol.. The Hell With It

Some Vomit And A Shortage Of Hope
So I awake another morning @ 4am, to vomitting. Its atleast been a few weeks since the last time. Not really sure what happened/happens. I just woke up and my stomach hurt and felt full. Friends, this 20 month old is in a second battle with cancer, her AML (Acute Meyloid Leukemia) has returned. She's only been home 3 months, and it looks like her remission is over with. Her parents and baby sister are going with her back to St. Jude in Tennessee to get tested for donar matches. They are considering a bone marrow transplant for little Elizabeth as a course of treatment for her this time. All I am asking is please help make a baby's Christmas a little brighter, if you pray please pray for her family and friends, and please pray she gets well. Our Troops Need Us !!
Guess I won't be drinking Starbucks anymore! ! ! Recently Marines in Iraq wrote to Starbucks because they wanted to let them know how much they liked their coffees and to request that they send some of it to the troops there. Starbucks replied, telling the Marines thank you for their support of their business, but that Starbucks does not support the war, nor anyone in it, and that they would not send the troops their brand of coffee. So as not to offend Starbucks, maybe we should not support them by buying any of their products! I feel we should get this out in the open. Laap Gai Serves: 6 10 oz minced/ ground chicken 2 oz shallots finely sliced Lettuce leaves 3 tbsp. lime juice 5 makrut lime leaves Mint leaves for garnish 1 tbsp. fish sauce 5 green onions finely chopped Raw vegetables to serve 2 lemon grass sticks (white part) ¼-½ tsp. Chili powder 1. In saucepan or wok, cook chicken with lime juice and fish sauce over high heat. Crumble and break up chicken until meat has separated into small pieces. Cook until light brown. Dry, and remove from heat. 2. Add rice powder, lemon grass, shallots, lime leaves, green onions and chili powder to chicken and stir together. Adjust seasonings as needed. 3. Line a serving plate with lettuce leaves, spoon chicken over leaves, then garnish with mint leaves. Arrange vegetables on separate plate.

Loss Of A Member
Today I learned that we lost a member of our chapter. She was out riding yesterday...such a beautiful day it was...and got into an accident that claimed her life. We just rode with her on a ride this past Saturday! It amazes me how we can be here one minute and gone the next. Out Of The Box
Sometimes life isn't what you want it to be. You have to be able to step back and look at the whole picture from outside the box. I am just learning how to do this now and it is the hardest thing to do. We all are so used to being in the box that it is scary to step out but once you do it isn't so scary, hard yes but not scary. This is the deal...someone involved with my family was in a fight today, and ended up knifing someone else, and didn't really care, he was layin on the couch, like any other day. Well this person is around my grandchildren all the time and brought the knife into the house with blood on it, where my grandchildren live. So as I was leaving with my granddaughter I called 911 and let them know what happened, they already had cops on the scene, I stopped by and talked to them, gave them details that I knew. Well subsequently he was arrested and the police searched the house, found the knife, and drugs. This blog is about video games on console systems and computers and how some games may be too violent for kids. Back in the day there were Atari's,Gameboy Colors,Amiga's,Commodor's and many others. Now there are gaming systems that have high performance graphic engines and such. Question for everyone is. How much is too much for children below a certain age? Some games have indecent exposure, blood, violence, and sex just to name a few of them. Some children spend hours playing games because they're fun to play and some are very addicting. My nephew at the age of 11 plays Grand Theft Auto and his mother allows this when the game rated "Mature" for drug usage,violence,language and some others. And some stores in malls allow underaged kids to buy these games. Hello again everyone I got home from work today to a zillion comments lol well maybe not quite that many but there was a lot. I think i finally got everyone pretty much caught up for about a few minutes and boom theres another. Seems like everyone has been riding like crazy. And now in my comments I see the old trains popping back up again. It's wonderful but it is a bit to keep up with at times and I can use everyones help. Rarely do we meet someone who touches our heart in such a manner that we feel connected on all levels. I have been lucky enough to meet just such a person. I recently booked a trip to Chicago with my friend from Canada and i was very impressed how accompanying the bus was.
