A freind asked me to tell her what it was that I seen a good time ago that still fucks with my head today. I was 14 and me and my freinds hung out at a large park with lots of picnic tabbles close to a wooded area . Most people in the park stayed clear of the area due to the rep. it and us had . They told there kids not to go there that was where the druggys and freeks play . Changes In My Life...
Its been a while since I've posted anything and since the last time things have changed drastically! When things have been a certain way for over 12 years and then you realize change might be inevitable...its hard. I'm actually staying on my own right now to think and make one of the hardest decisions in my life. Whether to continue with my marriage or to call it quits...It's amazing how many people it will affect one way or another and no matter what I do someone will be hurt. Thats what I hate the most knowing I will be the cause of hurt for someone...whether it be me or someone else. Its funny how you can't wait to grow up and be an "adult" but how I wish things could be so simple. Even then the simple "break up" wasn't has hard as what Im going through now. Regardless life will go on but somehow it will never be the same. I hope I make the right decison.

Wrestling
I'm a very big wrestling fan. I have been watching wrestling seen the age of 10. When I got older myself and my cousin started going to live show of wrestling and the different events like house show and the big pay-per-view events that they have had on the east coast. This past november went to Philly for Survior Series and had a blast that the pay-per-view. Got a lot of great pictures of the event check them out in my photo section. This Monday will be in Washington D.C. for Monday night Raw live and get to see the big contact sign for the Battle of the Billonairs match between Donald Trump and Vince K. McMahon. A Quick Introduction, then back to the killing April 11th 2007 02:53 I don't know how many blogs I've gone through with dissatisfaction. Which is not the fault of any blogging spot. A Hermit
Why I am typing a blog I have no clue. I have no life except for work. I go to work and come home. OOh, some day to look forward to. Sure it helps me survive, but what is life without friends? Of course I have roommates, just like me. They stay behind the doors in their room, being anti-social. I'm normally in a good mood. I tend to just ignore everything. How do you ignore feeling lonely? It's some of the mouldie oldie music that I like from the seventies, eighties and nineties. A Day On An Ambulance
Most nights are pretty quiet but about 2 weeks ago all hell broke loose. First we get a call to a frequent flyer who don't feel good, bull crap call, well as we are loading her we get a second call broken leg. Apperently the man fell down a hill and had been there for hours. Next we get a call for a child who hit her head. It left a preety good knot. Then we get an emergency call for an accident. The men had been out celebrating a birthday and had been drinking. One man walked away the two others didn't. One was cut up and bruised but the driver was unresponsive and died. I was glad for that night to end.

I am just disgusting. I can't stand to look at myself, I'm big, I have 2. 5 chins, and I have to position the camera above my head to hide it. I have an ass in the back of me, and an ass in the front. Yes, I have 8 kids, and the last 2 were the culprits to all that, and a lot of it is simply SKIN that won't go away. :( I am miserable, and no matter what I do, none of the weight is coming off. What I Like To Do
Well let's see here. I love to spend time with my hubby and with friends. Most of my friends, however, have moved away or we have lost touch over the years. I guess that has to do with the fact that I got married at 18 and immediately started living the married life...Hell I graduated high school a married woman! I also love to sing. Tigger Needs You
Domino left today to go to the adoption center to play in the young and healthy boy room with the other rambuncous kits. He left my home a healthy ferret and adjusted to people and potty boxes so he will have fun in a new home. Tigger came to my home today. He has spent an entire year in a bird cage no bigger then a pet taxi for the ferrets of small cats. The strength in his back legs have dwindled and he has be abused. I know a 666 Sq Foot apt is not much to most people but to a ferret like this, it is paradise, especially with toys and hammacks and blankets and jungle gyms everywhere. After a day of spreading out he is walking much better on his back legs. We are about to sit down and have a hand feeding of crushed ferret food and Gerbers Chicken baby food. He has been fed wet cat food all his life and now has a heart murmer as a result. Day 4
Well, last night was amusing. After the recietal of all the students who participated in group activities, a metric fuckton of us went to Centre-VIlle for a really cool concert. Then we went to Tour à Bière (and all my drinks were bought for me thank you very much!) and after that (read:2am) we went to go get some food. Well the place just down the road had closed like 5 minutes before so we ended up following the old drunk waiter to another restaurant. *sigh* The **NEW** restaurant ended up being a run-down, greasy spoon, G's on crack. Ok... Correction To A Comment I Just Made...
and a question, too... The stash-rating issue I annoyingly-several-times-blogged about yesterday is fixed- so far as I can tell. I'm guessing that it was a combination of bugs, not changes in features that weren't worked out properly, but I don't know of course. It was an interesting bit of work, anycase, with only one person able to rate any new stash item for awhile in most (but not all!) cases, after which no one else could rate it without an error. At times I think and ponder thoughts, wondering if things would have happen a certain way what life would be like. Oh, I've been through alot, but so have many others. A horrible tragedy occured at 8:46 Tuesday Morning September 11, 2001. There were 4 planes hijacked by terrorists. A senseless act of cowardness. American Airlines Flight 11, crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York. There were 92 people aboard, including 9 flight attendants and 2 pilots. Confront Them?!
Okay, after about the thousandth time of reading/hearing about situations where somebody wanted to "confront" somebody else about something (you all know what I'm talking about, "friend is lying" or "sister is cheating" that sort of thing) I started to realize something. Most of the people saying things like "I should confront them" or "I want to confront them" are the same people who complain about "drama." You have too much "drama" in your life? Well try not putting your nose in other peoples' business. There is no need to confront somebody on something that is none of your business and sometimes there is no need to constantly point out when people do things you don't like. And yes, that counts even if it "makes you feel really bad." Trust me people, you know your friends and family well enough. You should know when "confronting them" will cause more problems than it solves so why not keep it to yourself? Does anybody else agree with me?

I Got An Award!!!
Awhile ago I sent in a poem to poetry.com and yesterday in the mail I recieved an award. Editor's Choice Award for outstanding achievement in poetry. I had the chance in July to go to their convention in Vegas to present my poem and there I would also get my crystal statue and medal and something else but I cant remember what, anyway I never got to go or was able to send them the money for them to ship my awards to me so I never got them. Brief background: Most of my friends here know I'm in nursing school, and am graduating in May. I work as a nurse extern on a medical floor. I love it. The other day I worked with a new nurse. Just barely got her license about 6 weeks ago. Together we had 5 patients, all difficult. High acuity, we call them. So she passed the meds and I did most everything else. It was a long day. I ended up spending most of my time in one particular room, where we had 2 patien, both aphasic (could not speak), bedridden (could not walk), with NG tubes (could not eat), continuous IV fluids (could not drink). I had almost forgotten what working 70+ hours a week and raising kids alone was like. It is just really busy. For all of my friends who are feeling neglected, I am sorry. It's been a while since I blogged. Well, what's been going on in Lorrie's life? Lots! School. Work. Kids. Steve. Lots! School: I have 6 more weeks of classes, then I can take my externship. I have to take my Med Law class along w the externship, but that shouldnt be too bad. I'm taking 16 credit hours, 2 clinicals. I'm loving it all, even tho I'm stressed. Today it was confirmed that I am needing by-pass surgery. I am scheduled to go in Monday after Thanksgiving. I refused till after the holiday. I am a 41 yr old mother with a 7 year old at home. He Finally Did It!!!
Alright so it's hard to believe that I've waited this long to post about this but I've been sick and busy LoL. Anywho...so Jason finally made it official. NOW he can call me his fiance LoL. He got down on his knee and asked me to marry him on Christmas Eve. Everyone asks me if I was suprised....yes and no. Chipmunk Movie
Ok, so today I went and hung out with a friend that I have not seen in a long time. It was an awesome day, to bad it did not last longer. Lunch was cool, had Chipotle which ranks way up there with my favorite places to eat. Then went to the movie theater. At the theater, a challenge was laid down. It was fast and furious tokyo drift. Allright so first Round Anna basically kicked my ass on it. Second round I almost caught her at the end. i was winning for a minute, but she took that away. Oh well, the challenge has been laid for the future. After that we played some shoot the shit out of people games. Then the movie. This was awesome Reminded me so much of when I was a kid. I was having childhood flashbacks etc. It was amazing really. I laughed quite hard at times during the movie.
