Okay today has been a day of being told that my mental defects I will not call it a disease cause most diseases are curable or at least treatable. I am tried of being told my very severe OCD is something I should be able to control. But they do not realize that most of my "ticks" and "rituals" are very that "ticks" and "rituals" I do them without thinking, and most of the things that annoy me, I do not know they are annoying me they just do until I do something to fix it. I have a problem. I start cleaning something, and I can't stop. I was dusting the desk where the computer is, cleaning the computer and so forth. I noticed quite a bit of dust in between the keys of my keyboard. The air can wasn't doing the job, so I pried off each key and then attacked the inside of my keyboard with Pledge Multi-Surface and Qtips. Then cleaned each individual key before I put them back on. It's a sickness, I tell you. But my keyboard is SPARKLING! At least, until the next person makes me splort my drink all over it.

I live about a 5 minute or less walking distance from the beach. Tonight I decided to just randomly walk there to see meteor shower. Didn't see any meteors though but it was just so relaxing. Family and friends are coming forward to identify the seven students killed Sunday in a house fire on Ocean Isle Beach. Something final thoughts on the world in which we live. The alcoholic bastard played the stRAnGEr in me. I've had some requests for a real blog entry. (Seems some people out there are just so curious about the real me for whatever morbid reason.) Well a lot of my friend's know my younger brother is in Iraq. Well today is his 24th birthday. It's his second birthday away from his family. This day last year is when he left to go to basic. I'm kinda sad today. Really wishing I could call him and tell him happy birthday and that I love him. The kids and I just hugged, said a prayer for him and even sang happy birthday. 1 (2-3 Pound) Octopus 2 Wine Corks 2 Cups White Wine 1/2 Lemon 3 Large Potatoes Cut Into Quarters Extra Virgin Olive Oil Fresh Chopped Parsley Place the octopus in a pot with the wine and lemon. Cover the octopus with water, and place the pot over high heat and bring it to a boil. Turn the heat down to medium, and cook until tender when pierced with a fork. You'll need to check the octopus fairly frequently. Once it is tender, cover and remove from the heat. Allow to cool to room temperature covered. While the octopus is cooling, boil the potatoes until tender. Remove from the heat, skin and cut into 2 inch pieces. Place in a bowl and add fresh chopped parsley and olive oil to coat lightly. Season with salt and pepper. Once cool, remove the tentacles from the head and cut into 2 to 3 inch pieces. Cut the head into pieces as well. Season with salt and pepper and mix. I lost my mother to breast cancer and my daughter found a small lump at age 25 during a self exam.She was treated and has had no reoccurrances.Now another dear friend has been diagonosed with cancer also,so I am again struggling with understanding why. Hello! Today I want to write about something that happened during the prison ministry and what a blessing it was to have been included in "G-d's special time". The week started on Wednesday of last week and lasted through Saturday evening. What a time it was! I began getting sick the week before we were to go in to the prison. I had decided that it was evil spirits attacking to keep me from G-d's work to be done. I also decided to go to the Doc and explain what my plans were for the week. Not very much to my surprise, I was privileged to get a christian doctor who knew about the ministry and put me on a double dose of high powered decongestants and antibiotics in order to function during this very special time. Beginning Again... I think. Its been almost two months since I have written here, partially intentional, and partially not. I realize that I need to get my thoughts and feelings out, but its hard to do sometimes. October Is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Please take some time this month to go online and learn a little bit about DV. You can go to www.ndvh.org and there is a tab that says Get Educated. I encourage all of you to go read it. The only way DV will ever slow down (for I feel we will never truly end it) is by each person arming themselves with knowledge. Learn how to spot DV. Learn about the red flags. Learn how to talk to a victim or an abuser. I'm planning on posting information as well, but until I do you can be pro-active and look up the information. To all my fubar friends, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!!! As a daughter and niece of Breast Cancer Survivors I urge everyone who has women in their lives to discuss Breast Cancer issues. It could be the most important talk you will ever have. My mother and all 4 of her sisters are survivors of Breast Cancer and that makes my chances of getting breast cancer very high and I will be only 37 as of Thursday. At the age of 30 I started getting regular mammograms to help prevent that from happening. I love my girls and want to keep them. If you know a woman that is going through the hell that comes with an abusive relationship, make sure they know there are so many programs out there that can help them get out, and that can protect them from the abuser. ..today was the last day of Joe Torre's 12 year reign as manager of the New York Yankees. A sad day for Yankee fans everywhere as it truly marks the end of a golden era for the team. I thought that I would give ya'll an update to what's going on with me. Actually there's not a whole lot to tell. My son is doing real good in school. He has also joined the cub scouts, he's with the wolf cubs. I'm still with the same person, we've been together since sometime in June, I believe. I don't keep up with things like that. I know it's somewhat important, but things going on in my life that involve me and my kids are more important than trying to remember how long I've been with someone. But anywhos... I got to meet his daughter. She seems to be pretty cool and easy going. I'm suppose to meet his brother sometime in the next couple of days, I think. He's going to Daytona, FL with him. I'm not going, and why is what you are asking. It was planned way before we met, and it's going to be a guy thing. Which is cool. I ain't mad. I'm going camping with my son next week-end. Monday, October 29, 2007 My Miracle Kaleb is changing so much everyday! I look at pictures of him in the hospital and he looks like a little baby. It's like I just woke up one day and he is a little boy. He doesn't look like a baby anymore. Being able to see this makes me so thankful... He is such a miracle. We have great news! Kaleb is going to getting Hyperbaric Chamber Treatments three times a week. PRAISE GOD! All treatments are thanks to Harch Hyperbarics. October Driving Trip North To Nj
My Dad came and spent the night last Tues and early Wed a.m. we drove to Charlotte on our trek to NJ for the funeral. We got to my brother's in NC and stayed the night; Thurs we drove to Richmond and stayed with dad's childhood friend. They were awesome -- they took us a a party and lets say everyone was hung over the next day.... (except me). Amazing, huh. Anyway - it brought back wonderful memories from my childhood - being in Virginia again. We didn't get a chance to go by my dad's parent's graves though, there in Richmond, so I could take a picture. We drove by Fairfax, VA where I went to Elementary School - more good memories! Then through Maryland where I was born... (Takoma Park area). Past that we hit Delaware and then Pennsylvania - and then into NJ. I saw family from LA, NY, and Australia - it was a family reunion - albeit a sad one. When 2 helicopters were shot down, these troops went to the aid of their comrades and a mission that was supposed to last an hour ended the next morning. Just over 100 U.S. troops against a city. When it was over, 18 men of these units had given their lives in the battle including 2 who volunteered to go to one crash site and help the downed aviators. I have just went to the doctors on Oct, 3rd. He has me walking again on both feet. Although I am still in the brace. I am also still useing a walker to. And getting around kind of quick. That was a surprise. Every bone in my foot feels like it could snap. Even though there is not actual pain involved. Just a lot of crack and pops .

October 15th = Pail Awareness Day
As very few people know, October 15th is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Day. This is of course a relatively rough estimate from the CDC: The number of Infant Deaths from January 2007- January 2008 was 33,300. Infant deaths include SIDS, & Stillbirth (babies who die in utero), I'm not sure if miscarriages (before 24 weeks gestation) are included but I doubt that since they give death certificates to parents of stillborn babies. I personally have 4 babies who play in heaven. My son was 32w3d gestation, I miscarried at 6 weeks, Had a "late miscarriage" at 19 weeks gestation (My daughter) & another early miscarriage at 7w5d (another daughter, found out gender through genetic testing). Haven't been updating my journal. I'm 99.9% sure my precious little three year old grandbaby Caidence will be coming to stay with me at least during the week. If I'm on here when she's here as much as I am here now, Caidence wouldn't benefit much from staying with me other than going to head start. So, starting the beginning of November, I will be here but won't be here much. And because she is here that is more of an expense as before and after care is $70 a week. So that will mean, especially with the holidays coming up, I won't be blinging like I was or doing many, if any, VIP gifts, blast gifts, etc. I may not even have my own VIP for too long. But that is okay. I have met a ton of friends here and if I don't get daily rates, the world won't come to an end. Oh an she is oh SO ready for dance class! October 24 - 26 2008 Trip To San Diego
So where do I start. Well I went down to San Diego over the weekend. I was finally able to spend some time with a girl that I have been chatting with on here for a little over 6 months I think. I got there Friday afternoon. I saw her get out of her car and was instantly excited and giddy like a school boy. I have not felt excited like that in along time. It felt kind of weird. So we were able to spend some good quality time toether. A movie, dinner, quality time, and just hanging out. I could not have asked for a better time or a better girl to spend my time with. I just had to share my joy.

October. An Update. Why Does Everyone Flap When My Surgeon Is Not Worried.
October 2008 I have come to the conclusion that people flap too much, too easily. Maybe that is the way things work in neurology. Well, I was just checking back to my last seizure and that would appear to be in February where I did a nosedive. I discount the ones in Goa even though everyone else says they were but even so then it would still mean the last one was in February. There was a weird one it must have been May time but that is debatable and I won't argue. I was at my "mom's house" (wasn't really her house, but in the dream it was, y'know?). Someone came to the door- overweight, tall, caucasian bald man. we let him in, he had asked to use our phone. he tried to kill us. he cut me pretty good. mum and i ran from him, tried to hide. October And The Past Year...
October was always one of my favorite months... this year it is hard though... A year ago.. my husband and I split up for what was supposed to be a temporary separation... yeah.. not so much... May our divorce was final. he would rather be with a slut who sleeps with 7 guys in a week then be with his wife... cool no skin off my nose.... well not anymore anyway.. My ex husand and i are completely different people. I know that now.. I also know that we should have NEVER gotten married.. i loved him.. but it wasn't that "get married" kind of love... over the past year... I have realized a lot about myself... I lived in a depression. I gave up a LOT to be with a man i shouldn't have been with... I have always been someone who LIKED going out with friends... him.. he started that way.. but became a hermit... which caused me to be one too.... I lost touch with GOOD friends... and i have been working on those friendships again.. as well as friendships i NEVER thought i would have again.
