They took a trip to the State Capital in Sacramento,Ca and all came to together for this and WON!!!! Hey everyone! My baby brother just graduated from bootcamp. Unfortunately it was infantry basic training. He has signed on for 4 years, but they can't ship him off for atleast 4 mons. Hopefully he'll get stationed somewhere that just got back, so he won't have to go. Upside is that he is going in to work on computers, so he won't actually be put on frontline. I then decided it was time to lose some weight before it was to late and I had a heart attach.Thanks to my dr. and the plan he set for for me I have lost about 30 lbs. and have gone from 254lbs. to 220 lbs. for this I am proud of myself.I have more energy and my blood pressure has gone down.Hopefully I will keep it down.For this I am proud of myself.

Well as most of my close friends know, my son has been playing soccer.. Most of the time he has done good, although sometimes he just goofs off. OK so I need to brag a little bit about my son. I just got back from his PTC (Parent Teacher Conference) and WOW!!!! I knew my son was smart, but what his teacher told us blew my mind. Now mind you, my son never went to pre-school. So everything he has learned has been from the wonderful teachers he has had and us. My son's teacher told us today that he is reading at a 5th grade reading level and comprehending at a 4th grade level. My son is only in 3rd grade! It made me sooo proud to hear that. She told us that he is a pleasure to have in class and that he is the most advanced child in her class. OK so I think I'm done with my brag session. I'll let my ego deflate alil....nah maybe not :)

Proud Of Me
So, ever since I had my daughter (she's 7 now) I have been struggling with my weight. Before I had her I weighed about 165ish. I am 5'10, so that was a great weight for me. Well I have done Atkins, I have exercised, I have dieted, and I have fluctuated from my lowest of 178, all the way up to 207, my highest. And the 207 was just a couple months ago. I am proud to say that my latest attempt is working. I started doing DDR around a year ago. For those that don't know, DDR is a dance game that works with a PS2. You follow the arrows on the game with a dance pad that you step on. There are either 4 or 5 levels of difficulty depending on which game you get. The current one I am doing has 4 levels. I'm on the 3rd. Now, when you do this for 30 to 60 minutes, 4 or 5 times a week, it is aerobic. I am drenched. I have noticed a big change in my body, muscles toning, etc. So FINALLY, this weekend, I noticed the scale. I am down to 189, in just a couple of months of hard work.

Today after a seriously ruff start to the new school year my lil angel brought home his report card... He had all A's and B+'s... He made the B Honor Roll and I couldnt be prouder of him... He is my world and he has tried so hard and today his effort and hard work finally paid off for him!! He now has a new look on his school life cuz he knows ha can do whatever he sets his mind to!! ok, what i learned since i work in it, (1984....) is that when you don't think for the users, you go wrong. For exemple, when you ask someone to give a date, think as if you were speaking: if you say , "i am in holidays on 4th", it means you talk about the current month, and you don't need to say more... if you say i'll take the plane on March 5, ok, it's obvious you mean this year, not march 5, 2011 so in my softwares, if some type a date "4" it means "2/4/2007" if he types "4/2" or "04 2" or "4.02" or whatever it's feb 4 2007 (i am french, dates are given in dd/mm/aaaa) so i had a big laugh when i added descrptions about some trips i made in the past year when dates were asked : i replied in the only way possible : dd/mm/yy so i am glad to know i'll still be alive at that day and enjoy these trips !!! Well this weekend, Calista's artwork is being exhibited in the Schenectady City School District's Diversity Celebration. She brought the mask home a week ago, and it's amazing work! On June 12,2012 Sara Hart, mother of 3 and pregnant with her 4th child, was murdered just 2 miles from where I live... She was jogging early that morning and pursued by Chris Allman..drug off the roadside and killed, for no reason. Yesterday morning 2500 + people in the community and other states joined to " Run for your Hart" in order to raise scholarship money in memory of Sara. Over $ 70,000 was raised, 20,000 over the hoped for amt. I am so proud of everyone for their efforts, it truly goes to show what can be done when everyone comes together in tragedy.

Spent a wonderful hour and 1/2 talking with my niece that I raised for most of her life (now 24 yrs old and 7 months pregnant). We weren't always so close. She was always MY girl (most of her life was spent with me)...my daughter but not my daughter biologically. There are few feelings more satisfying in the world than doing something people think you can't do. Case in point: last October. My girlfriend just broke up with me and I lost my job in the span of a week. While I was looking for a job in the newspaper, my ex told me I'm better off just giving up. How can you go out and drink yourself stupid, then drive 100MPH with your 6 year old kid in the car? Another one that I just took in to the hospital, that will survive, but is going to need many surgerys to repair his body. Many more years to heal him mentally, and only with professional help. He just happened to be with mom and dad with both intoxicated. Better yet no car seat, or booster seat. Better yet a seat belt. Psp Opacity Tutorial
Ok this is just to show those who dont know how to blend 2 images into 1 using the opacity settings in Paint Shop Pro. 1.Open the images Pics that you wanna merge togetaher in PSP. 2.Make both images the same size (im using 400 x 400 for this tutorial. 3.Right click on 1 of the images and then click copy (see Image A). Image A 4.Now on the other image right click and then click paste as a new layer (see Image B). Image B 5.Now look to the right hand side at the bottom you will see both images in a box (see image C). Image C 6.In that box right click on the top image and then click on properties (see image D). image D 7.In the properties box that pops up click on the general tab (see image E). image E 8.Now you will see an Opacity setting that is set at 100 (see image F) lower this setting to your liking wala u are done.
