You left my in a puddle of blood. The way you thought it should end. You left me with a broken heart, and those are hard to mend. The time will come and you will be paid back, But your blood will be a pool , one you can’t swim in I never thought you where that kind of man, But you have shown me differently. Do I hate when I know I should, I think not. I would never let hate be a part of my heart. However, this is some thing you can’t fathom, Nor can you see. Ingredients: * 2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into large cubes * juice of 2 limes or lemons (about 6 tablespoons) * 3 tablespoons orange juice * 2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce * 1 teaspoon ground turmeric (optional) * 1 tablespoon snipped fresh oregano * 4 cloves garlic, minced * 1 to 2 tablespoons olive oil, or as needed * 6 cups torn mixed salad greens * 1/2 cup cucumber slices * 1/4 cup sliced pitted ripe olives * 1 tomato, halved and thinly sliced * 1 small red onion, thinly sliced * Reduced-fat vinaigrette * 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese (optional) Method Place the chicken in a large glass bowl. INGREDIENTS: 2 pounds beef top round, cut into thin slices 1/2 tablespoon salt black pepper to taste 1/3 cup white vinegar 1 cup olive oil 1/2 cup manzanilla olives, sliced 3 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped 1 cup green bell pepper stips 2 cups Spanish yellow onion slices1 Pound the meat to tenderize it. Season with salt and pepper. Combine the vinegar and 3/4 cup of the olive oil. Add the olives and garlic; set aside. In a nonstick skillet, heat the remaining 1/4 cup of oil and saute the pepper and onion lightly. Remove the pepper and onion with a slotted spoon and set aside. 2 Reheat the oil remaining in the skillet until very hot and sear the beef on all sides. Return the pepper and onion to the skillet with the meat. Pour the oil-and-vinegar mixture over the meat. Cook over medium to low heat, partially covered, for 20 minutes, or until the meat is tender.

INGREDIENTS: 1 pound yellow cornmeal 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 2 cups milk 2 cinnamon sticks 1 teaspoon salt 10 to 12 plantain or banana leaves, or parchment paper 3 quarts salted water1 Combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl. In a small saucepan bring the milk, cinnamon sticks, and salt to a boil. Remove the cinnamon sticks and add the milk slowly to the dry ingredients. Mix until the liquid is absorbed. 2 Cut the plantain leaves in pieces large enough to wrap 1/4 cup of the dough in each (about 8x8 inches). put the dough in the center of a plantain leaf. Fold up the sides and ends and tie with butcher's twine. Repeat until all of the corn mixture has been used. 3 Bring the salted water to a boil in a very large pot. Add the guanimes and simmer for 1 hour. To serve, unwrap the guanimes and place on a platter. Serve with salt codfish stew or mojito isleno

INGREDIENTS: 1/3 cup olive oil 3 tablespoons white-wine vineagar 1 tablespoon Adobo 1/2 tablespoon dried oregano 3 to 3-1/2 pounds eye of round STUFFING: 1/3 cup dried currants, soaked in 1/3 cup sherry 1/2 cup manzanilla olives, chopped 1/4 pound smoked ham, diced 1 chorizo (red Spanish sausage), chopped BRAISING MIXTURE: 2 cups tomato sauce 2 cups beef broth 1/3 cup sherry from the marinated currants 1/3 cup Basic Recaito remaining stuffing 6 red potatoes, cut into pices 1 Combine the oilive oil, vinegar, adobo, and oregano. Season the meat with this mixture. With a sharp knife, cut a large incision through the center of the meat. 2 Combine all of the stuffing ingredients. 1 cup flour 3/4 to 1 cup water food coloring 1 bag of cotton balls small bowls cookie sheet rubber gloves to keep the colors from staining your hands 1. What you'll need: * Pink and white tissue paper, cut into 1” squares * White craft glue * Scissors * Piece of card stock or construction paper * Pencil with an eraser How to make it: 1. Cut out a heart shape from the construction paper or card stock. 2. Put white craft glue into the center of the heart, shaped like a heart. 3. Using the eraser end of a pencil, place the eraser into the center of a white tissue paper square. Twist the tissue paper square around the eraser and dot it onto the glue. PUMPKIN FUDGE 3 cups sugar 1 cup milk 3 tbsp light corn syrup 1/2 cup mashed cooked pumpkin 1/4 tsp salt 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice 1 1/2 tsp vanilla 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional In a 3 quart saucepan, mix together sugar, milk, corn syrup, pumpkin and salt; bring to boil over high heat stirring constantly. Reduce heat to medium and continue boiling. But do not stir. When mixture registers 232 degrees on candy thermometer (or forms a soft ball when dropped into cold water), remove pan from heat. Stir in pumpkin pie spice, vanilla, butter and nuts. Cool to lukewarm (110 degreees on candy thermometer). Then beat mixture until very thick and it loses some of its gloss. Quickly pour into a greased 8 inch pan. When firm, cut into about 36 squares.

A block can literally save your life or create that opening to shot an attack through. Blocks for the most part are performed by the hand or arms. Ok so we have covered strikes and blocks, now for kicks. Kicks are the most important part of TKD. you can punch and block, but without the power of a good kick your going to be beat. There are a few basic kicks that can be moved to create more advanced options. Kicks: Front kick - easily the most basic and natural kick out there. This is done by taking your leg, bringing the knee up, and pushing out with the foot till the ball of your foot makes contact with your target. This is much like the straight punch of kicks. Round house - most common kick even at high levels. This is done by taking the leg and driving the knee and hip forward till the foot snaps out like a whip to make contact. I was buying a large bag of Purina puppy chow at Wal-Mart and was in line to check out. A woman behind me asked if I had a dog? On impulse, I told her that no, and that I was starting The Purina Diet again. Well, I'm officially nuts - not only do we have the three sweet blind babies we've committed to socializing, training and raising until they are 16 weeks - such cuties, wouldn't guess they can't see! Now we've got EIGHT bouncing babies running about. They were scheduled for death today and one of my fosters alerted me to their need yesterday. Well without thinking I called the shelter, faxed my 501c3 letter and paid their bail... next thing I know we've got skinny, squirming, starving puppies in our car (no room for a crate big enough to contain them all!). Well I'm glad I didn't think it through, ask permission from my board or hesitate because they're welcome as long as they need and I love raising Pit Bulls - we can change their destiny here. so both my pups got fixed plus one (Buddy) had eye surgery done... All Snoopy-Loopy is doing is whinning... Buddy has a huge cone around his head, his eyes look horrible from swelling, and he has a leaking bladder issue right now... Puppies
Today I brought home 3 4-week old puppies with the intention of keeping 1 and fostering 2. Why am I doing this???? Because of heartless, careless and irresponsible piece of shit dog owners. On Sunday night the private no kill animal shelter I volunteer at picked up 17 puppies from an animal control shelter, that kills the animals that are in need, in another county so save thier lives. 8 were 3 1/2 weeks, 2 were 7 weeks and 7 were 7 DAYS old. Here is my biggest grip. The 7 day old pups were born outside because the mom wasn't kept inside. Animal control found them and took them to the shelter. The owners of the mother came to claim her. When they asked if either they would take the puppies or leave the mom for weaning and they said no. When animal control told them that all the pups would be destroyed if they didn't do that they said they didn't care and took the mom home. Puppy Xmas!
So I spent Christmas Eve with my favorite doggies (and there humans who are my best friend). Of course Uncle Tom had to bring out the camera and take a buttload of pics. I haven't gone through them all, but I did do a few for a bit of a preview. I'm gonna get that thing, Sam! Yawn. I have defeated you! Sam in Black and White. More to come later.
