I kinda feel bad today for Dylan. He was up til midnight. He had a lot of homework for it being the first day, but there was no reason for him to be doing it that long. He could have been done around 8, but he was complaining and arguing, and just not doing what he should have been. I got to the point where I told him "I don't care how long it takes you, you are staying up until it's finished, school work comes first. If you would stop complaining and do it, you'd be done already" That was around 8, and well obviously he didn't listen to me, and he was up til midnight. OK, I'll leave France on Tuesday night, and take a 10 hour train ride to Rome. I resevered a spot on one of those sleeper cars so I won't have to have a room for that night. When I wake up, I should be in the Eternal City of Rome. I got three days here. Damn, where do I began? This is a place so rich in history and architecture, dating to before the Dark Ages. We're talking about arguably the center of the world for almost a thousand years. There are palaces built upon palaces... ruins that tell of a time of luxury and splendor that some say has never been rivaled. In keeping with my architecture adventure, I've got to see: THE COLOSSEUM, THE ROMAN FORUM, THE PANTHEON is a MUST, VATICAN CITY, the SISTINE CHAPEL, ST. PETER'S CATHEDRAL. Also, I'd like to see the TREVI FOUNTAIN. PART ONE: Today's entry 9:26am Monday Sept. 25, 2006 Most people I talk to tell me that they have no fears of any kind other than the normal "fear of water, or fear of fire, or fear of being smothered" that type of stuff. I think that everyone has some type of fear of that physical aspect of dying that way. I know I have a fear of Snakes, especially boas or pythons that are big enough to eat someone like me for lunch. But those are just your normal everyday fears that basically are like the boogyman, you can usually get over them as you get older, or not as the case may be. It all depends on the person and their state of mind. Some of those fears never go away. For me the snake one will never go away, but that isn't my greatest fear. My greatest fear is, not knowing my greatest fear. Or rather not knowing what that greatest fear actually is. August 26, 2006, 11:59:pm Why do I want to get thin? My health. If it were not for my pain levels, I wouldn't mind staying fat. Deep down I know I can still be pretty be I fat or be I thin. But the pain, omg it drives me outta my mind. I've spent years with lower back problem because of my work. Too tall for the tables and even over looking my weight, too big chested to lean. Put all that together and you have a screwed up back. I was able to get outta that situation but the damage was done. I've lived with it for 13 years now. Found out that I've now developed arthritis in my spine. Can we say stunned yet relieved. I finally found a doctor that listens to me. Didn't take one look at my fat self and say "Loose weight!." There is actually a point and lesson to this rambling, long entry. Today means there is only 1 month to go of waiting for the sleep apnea test. So little time. Yet so distant it seems impossible that it will ever get here. I'm going down hill faster because of the frustration and pain levels. I keep trying to tell myself just a few more weeks. Not much time compared to all the time I've been through already. It ain't working. I've begun to notice the depression signs are back. I had my 6th and final weigh in today. I lost 2 more pounds. Over all from my original high weight of 440, I'm down' to 370. I impressed my doctor with my holding steady with the weight I lost during this 6 months and getting my sugar down to normal level. My blood pressure jumped a little bit but I was so tense today its a wonder it wasn't sky rocketed. So now the final crunch begins. The 6 months of notes are to be faxed to the surgeons office and from there I'm not sure exactly what will go on but I've met all the requirements for having the surgery finally. I'm a nervous wreck. I'm scared to death I'm going to be rejected and I'm scared to death I'm gonna be accepted lol. My step brothers mother had the surgery the end of January and she's up and active and apparently not having problems. I saw the surgeon today. I've lost 18 pounds since surgery 2 weeks ago. People have been telling me the last couple to few days that they are seeing a difference. Apparently its most noticeable in my face. It dawned on me today that from my highest weight of almost 440 (I was like 438 or 439, not sure if I gained any after that but I don't think I did). Anyway it dawned on me that I am getting very close to having lost 100 pounds total. I am allowed to go back to normal activity (as tolerated type thing). I can even start back to work tomorrow (the 4th). I'm going to call work tho and see if they will let me take the next 2 days off and then use 1 week vacation and then for 2 weeks after that use a week vacation as 4 hours a day. I need some time to build my strength back up and get into the swing of things. I've been off work for almost a year. 9-11 will be 1 year since I worked. So yea, I'm hoping I can ease into things. i think...........i got my orders for being in the army reserves revoked! ..... i got one letter when i reactivated my self that said "status active" witch was cool. but a couple weeks ago...i got another letter in the mail where it said "status revoked" .....witch sucks but i don't suck. first of all .........i busted my ass for 2 and a half years in the regular army at ft.sill just for them to throw me out because i couldn't run 2 miles in 15 mins. I've always given the extra effort and been the team leader, seeking utmost victory. I've always felt like I needed to be the biggest and the best to please the people around me. These all sound like admirable traits that many wish they possessed, but being such a perfectionist only makes me feel less perfect. I've always been afraid of failure. This directly causes me to be a workaholic, therefore I am declaring to relax. 53rd Wv Black Walnut Festival
This is the weekend that every nut in 4 states decends on Spencer, WV for the Annual Black Walnut Festival. I haven't gotten to go for the past two years because of being on home confinement. I have had to sucker other people into taking my daughter to the festivities. This bums me out. Its not that I actually miss going to the festival, it is that I cannot take my kid. I would do anything in the world for her, but I can't take her to the places she wants to go. My 72 year old aunt, her daughter and husband and some other people from Alabama took her yesterday. My brother, and a couple of guys from the campground have her there today. I know that she is having fun, but the fact that I don't get to see her enjoying herself is what has me down. Just thought I would share this little rant. Now back to my life.

well I just wanted to post my 2 cents worth. There are alot of famous people in the news on a daily basis. But the one who stands out as the most awesome and deserves a round of applause would have to be John Travolta. It seems to me that every state or person that has to go through a tornado or hurricane, then Mr. Travolta is there to offer help and what-ever else may be needed. He donates his time and money to help those who are with-out help. And I don't see alot of other actors or actresses doing this. So in my book, yeah he rates right up there as being the first on top of the list! so congrats to Mr. Travolta for being so helpful and compassionate!!!!!! you rock, dude!!!!!!!

I post the following Blog and ask you to look at the new pic I made as a personal reminder of my near-death accident July 19, 2004. It was 12:15pm below Charleston, WV on a sunny Monday summer day. My right steer tire blewout when something in the road broke two holes into the sidewall of the tire. I was doing 60 MPH in a 65 MPH zone going into a gentle curve to the left and the tire blewout, I experience an immediate rollover, my truck was demolished beyond recognition, the top of the truck sheered off, the tank flipped over, my rig went about 100 feet off the road, I remember only dust and sunlight moving about the cab ... then to only go into darkness. I did not awaken until in the emergency room of the hospital. I suffered approx 40 stiches on my scalp and above my right eye ... 3 pulled ribs ... muscles pulled from my neck down to my solar plexis ... mino scrapes to my left calf but no fractures or breaks. Gee, how ironic that my Work follows the Wheel. I started working on dealing with my Shadow during the dark half of the year, and now that the light half is starting, I make another decision. I don't even do this consciously, things just come to me that I ponder upon and THEN the realization hits me that I'm working the Wheel, even though in much smaller ways. So, this great realization comes to me. Ok, maybe it's not so great, but for me it's a big step towards...whatever it is I'm moving toward. Happiness, maybe? Reach Out And Touch Someone
I swallowed some pride recently and opened myself up to get my feelings hurt and called a guy I hadn't talked to in months. I've learned the lesson not to let things go unsaid - and I learned it the hard way. I couldn't let the "what if" nag at me. So, I called him up. It was so good to hear his voice. I'd forgotten that warm feeling I got each time he said hello. To my relief he sounded happy to hear from me. We feel right back into where we left off. I'm relieved.

Reaching A Goal
In the past couple of weeks i have taken on more than than the average person would care to take over...i coach a squad of 28 girls which is exhausting in itself, but none the less i would not have it any other way...i do love coaching and being able to influence the lives of young ladies in a positive way, not to mention my daughter cheers for the same squad, just an added bonus! not only do i coach, im a mom, now we all know thats a task in itself...mom of two kids...one who is ALL OVER THE PLACE and the other who is DRAMAAAAAATIC!!!!!! now ive taken on another challenge and been training extensively throughout the week...every single day i awaken to more training, LONG training sessions...come home to the kids, take them to the waterpark for some last minute fun before school starts, come back home, more training, more cheerleading, more cleaning...OMG, im just plain exhausted! but its what we do and not sure yet if i will change things, maybe it will get easier, maybe not...wh

Reacting Vs. Responding
There is a difference between reacting and responding. Let me explain. A reaction is control by emotion. No more, no less. Whether that emotion is fear, anger, lust, or love. For example, if I were to take a swing at you, you wouldn't stop and think about what to do. You would run, throw your hands up, or start swinging back. The fear of being hit dictates your actions. A response is controlled by conscince thought. You actually think about how you are going to handle the situation at hand. An example would be if I throw a frisbee at you. You can decide, to catch it, run after it, let it hit the ground, or not do aything at all. The point is, you counsciously thought about your actions before you acted them out. Just something to think about when you are faced with a situation where a reaction or a response could make a very big difference in how the situation plays out and ends.

Reaching Deep For A Friend...
Yes, I remember that night, just a little over 5 years ago now. I don't talk about it, make up memory losses because of it, but I remember it well, and I will tell it so you know you are not alone. It was 2 a.m. or a little after and I had just finished the 5th load of laundry. In that apartment, the laundry was outside, down in the basement, with no lighting but my flashlight. I hauled it up and down in the middle of the night because he wanted his favourite jeans, and I didn't mind. I loved him. I wanted him comfortable. I took care of him. He had been sleeping since about 8, which was his usual thing. He'd come home, eat, and promptly fall asleep. I would clean up dinner, do homework with the kids, do housework, get the kids ready for bed, then go to bed myself. I slept with one hand on his chest all night long because he had once stopped breathing due to a cold. If he coughed I would wake and make sure he was okay. I laid down, exhausted. Reaching A New Level Of Frustration.... Grr!
Well its official, I have reached a new level of frustration. I don't have a job but im in the process of trying to get one. I recieve a check every month by mail. My boyfriend is working 2 jobs that don't pay too much. He lives with his parents and younger sister. He has bills he pays and now his parents want him to pay rent every month... $400 exactly. So how the fuck am I suppost to have a life with this man... if shit like this is happening now?! I honestly am not sure anymore if things will work out... or even just work out for me anymore. I hate to be pessimistic here, but I honestly don't see it working out unless there is a big miracle. I am saveing money in my saveings account. I called my mom earlier. I cried to her and told her how much I missed grandma. She didnt exactly blow it off, but she didnt do much to console me either. It seems that cleaning her house is much more important than remembering her with me. My mom and dad live 10 minutes away from me and we havent really been to their house in a while. So I asked if we could all have dinner together tonight. That was something we did often with both sets of my grandparents. It seems that drinking and partying and other things are put before family when it comes to my parents. Thats not who I am. Not who I want my children to be. Reaction To His Meds
Last night we had to rush off to the emergency room at the hospital because my husband's blood pressure shot sky high. I have a BP cuff here at home and took his blood pressure and it was 165/107 which is entirely too high. The perfect range is 120/80. When we got to ER he had his BP taken again and it was 160/98. While waiting to be taken into a room he was sitting in the lobby and he started to get rather pale and clammy. I asked him how he was feeling and he said that he was feeling as if he was going to pass out. He was rushed right in and was stripped of coat and his shirt. His shirt was soaked with sweat. They hooked him up to a EKG right away and slipped a BP cuff on him and inserted an IV into him right away. To make a long story short, he had taken his blood pressure medication just an hour before. This medication which is to hold his blood pressure down did the opposite of what it is supposed to do. He eventually was released when his BP was norma

There is a difference between reacting and responding. Let me explain.A reaction is control by emotion. No more, no less. Whether that emotion is fear, anger, lust, or love. For example, if I were to take a swing at you, you wouldn't stop and think about what to do. You would run, throw your hands up, or start swinging back. The fear of being hit dictates your actions.A response is controlled by conscince thought. You actually think about how you are going to handle the situation at hand.An example would be if I throw a frisbee at you. You can decide, to catch it, run after it, let it hit the ground, or not do aything at all. The point is, you counsciously thought about your actions before you acted them out. Just something to think about when you are faced with a situation where a reaction or a response could make a very big difference in how the situation plays out and ends.

I was sitting on the edge of a river and looking across the water. I noticed a small tree or bush along the shore on the other side. Sitting there was a man who appeared to be sleeping with his head resting in his hand. At that moment it came to my attention that I was holding my rifle. I lift my rifle up, look through the scope, center my crosshairs on this unknown person's head and I pull the trigger. I jump into the river to swim across but i notice I'm not swimming in water, but more like syrup or some other thick fluid. I swim back to shore and walk over to a bridge and cross it. Upon coming up to my unknown victim, I inspect the body to find I had blown the top half of this person's head off, as if something you'd see in the movies or some morbid website. I saw that his hand was still resting on his face but in his hand was a cell phone. Apparently this person wasn't sleeping but in fact talkin on the phone minutes before their demise. Reacurrence
While going in for a normal check up with my chemo docotor they had found something which was located in the same area as my cancer was the last time, they sent me in to have an MRI done and I won't know nothing till the 22nd to see if it's a reacurrence of my cancer. I'm not ready for this however know what needs to be done, although it's hard trying to keep myself together because the last time I lost my damn mind. Hopefully everything comes back o.k. and I will not have to go through this again.

1,2,3 My Pet Peeves of CT 1. Blind friend requests- Ya know I always make it a point to at least leave some sarcastic wit or something that would put an inkling as to why Im worth getting to know- as a person, when requesting an add. I hate when people don't leave a comment on my prof - if they rate it or look at it at all- they don't leave any comments on any pics (yes I do check, not to mention 500 friends avg. of 20 ratings on a pic wtf people) and yet they send me friend requests. WHO ARE YOU! WHY DO YOU WANT ME TO ADD YOU!? theres my top pet peeve. In light of this I'm no longer adding people that say nothing anywhere to me before requesting an add. I'm not a friend whore I don't need more lame bullis to go thru when you repost something when you never say anything to me at all. EVER. Take this add and shove it. 2. Ready To Be A Mommy
I'm in the last stretch now and I am so ready to get Emma out of me! I'm not trying to bitch about being pregnant, after all, it's me that has wanted to be a mommy since the day I was born. I am just so frustrated and at that point of being tired of being pregnant. I'm sure any woman who has been there understands where I am at with this. It feels like I have been with child for years at this point. My body is huge, my ass is drooping, and my tits are swollen. "Would you do it again?" I've already been asked and the answer is for sure. Given the right circumstances and despite how hard this has really, really been for me, I would do it again. After all....I want my son. I guess for now though all I can do it wait for Emma's arrival, hoping and praying that she is as beautiful and healthy as I have imagined her to be in all my dreams!
