I’m so confused I don’t know what to do I’ve lost my family What else could I lose. I have tooken the asvab test twice now and havent scored high enough. Tomorrow my baby who is 7 is having her first ever surgery. Nothing real major, her tonsils and adnoids removed and tubes in her ears. But this is the first time for her and she is my baby. I have 3 girls ages 23, 21 and 7. The 2 oldest girls never had any kind of hospital visits, Thank the Good Lord!, until the oldest had her first baby. So this is going to be an emotional day for us all. We are a very close family of girls because I have pretty much raised them all alone. Was single with the first 2 at ages 3 and 5. Now single again since the baby was 3. So we have always pretty much supported and taken care of each other. The girls will be there with me tomorrow and I know everything will be ok, but i'm a mom I can't help but be worried. Please keep us in your thoughts as we take this next journey. Well I went to my first appointment in Florida for the surgery Im gonna have. Yes all yall know im a fat bitch, but thats gonna change. I found out today that I should have my approval for my gastric by pass surgery in 7-10 days! So by the time i get everything done that they want me to do I should have it by the end of October! No Shark This Trip
Well, went to a place called Surf Side Beach in Texas. It's by some town called Freeport. Just west of Galveston. Water was so rough, didn't even put a line out until the day before we left. I caught one bull red drum, it was someplace between 20-30 pounds. (pic is in my photos) Really disappointed in not catching a shark. I got sunburnt bad. Now my whole back, shoulder and front side is water blisters and peeling. no fun let me tell ya. Oh well, maybe better luck next time.

A Beautiful End To A Sad Day.

Hey everyone...Sorr it has taken me so long to email the updates, apparently the chemo decided to kick my butt these last two rounds and I even made sure I rested alot this last time...just the way it goes I guess. The Doc did say that it can get worse as you go so I guess I am at that point. OK SO besides that!!! My Catscan was infact clean of any lesions and tumors....what this means for me: 1. I am Stage 4 Colon Cancer 2. The treatments are working. 3. I will get another scan in 3 months and if it remains clean, I may be able to stop chemo. 4. Scans every three months for the next two years!! 5. Does this mean I am in Remission?.....Not sure yet...but it wasn't mentioned yet..so I'm not jumping the gun! My genetic testing went pretty good....i think..lol It was found that my cancer is genetic, it's called MSH6, hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer, or Lynch Syndrome, but this particular mutation doesn't cause brain tumors like MSH1 and 2 can...so that is GOOD,

Flour, 2 cups Salt, 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamamon, 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg, 1/2 teaspoon Cloves, 1/2 teaspoon Nuts, choppped, 1 cup Raisins, chopped, 1 cup Shortening, 1/2 cup Sugar, 1 cup Baking soda, 1 teaspoon Applesauce, 1 cup Egg, well beaten, 1 How to: Sift flour; measure; add salt and spices; sift again, Add chopped nuts and raisins. Cream shortening; add sugar gradually and continue to beat until light. Stir the soda into the applesauce. Add well beaten egg; combine with the creamed mixture. Add the dry ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 or 3 inches apart onto a greased baking sheet. Bake in a moderate oven (375 F.) 15 to 20 minutes. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.

My Problems :(
Hello yall...i have been in Jackson, TN at the hospital seeing my grandma this week. She is in the ICU..it's been one problem after another. she has been on a ventilator for the past three weeks. she has cancer in her lungs and in her spine..plus she just had heart surgery and dealt with infections. she is the greatest woman i know. i hate seeing her in that hospital bed..she just lays there..asleep all the time. i am surprising alot of people with how strong i am being...but honestly i just want to fall down and cry. i can't begin to imagine what my life would be like without her.

Iam Still Hanging On!
Sorry, friends I have not been on very much. Trying to work hard, and be good to all around me. However, I do not believe I have been good to me. A couple of weeks ago I fell on the kitchen floor. You know the feeling, something is not right and out go the lights, well if not it is not fun. My sweety and her daughter were trying to get me up off the floor and I am wondering what the heck... well sorta that. Jan asked me to stay at home Saturday but know I feel or felt fine and went aftere about 5 at work I start feeling really bad. So I went home on the way I call Jan and she said she was with her parents and visiting a cousin they had not seen in 30 or so years, but for me to go ahead and drive to the local hospital and get checked out, well I did and they kept me. I am now charged up with a defibbulator and going strong again. Well, if I keep this up soon I will be totally rebuiltand just have to go for different tune ups. Hope to be here but I will not be on line every
