Brand New "halo" Short
For a movie that is currently not scheduled to be made, "Halo" is sure releasing lots of shorts. In this third one, we get to see lots more violence, lots more blood and more footage than before. Similar to the first two shorts released, it is once again directed by Neil Blomkamp, the same person that's currently in talks to helm the theatrical version. Studios have stayed clear of the "Halo" movie for many reasons; there is the fact that Microsoft doesn't want to give up too much and there is also the fact that Blomkamp only has a few commercials on his resume. Handing over the project to a newcomer, for which the budget could be hundreds of millions of dollars, would make anyone nervous. The new short is comprised of shaky footage and seems to resemble the actual game. The special effects are done by Peter Jackson's WETA Digital, the same company behind "Lord of the Rings," "I, Robot" and "King Kong." Well I just thought I would let everyone know that I am feeling a little better today :) I actually got more than a couple hours of sleep so I'm not AS tired, still tired but at least I can get my ass up & do stuff as usual!!! Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
For those of you that don't know, I suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome. I have been suffering with this since at least May 2006. For those who do not know what this is the definition is:- Carpal tunnel syndrome occurs when the median nerve, which runs from the forearm into the hand, becomes pressed or squeezed at the wrist. The median nerve controls sensations to the palm side of the thumb and fingers (although not the little finger), as well as impulses to some small muscles in the hand that allow the fingers and thumb to move. Sometimes, thickening from irritated tendons or other swelling narrows the tunnel and causes the median nerve to be compressed. Out Of Hospital
Wanted to let ya all know my mom has returned home. She has been in the hospital this entire month. I have been gone to stay with her and finally we are back. She has suffered abit lately. I had ask for prayers from my friends when I was last her and I ask for them to continue please. She has just undergone a quaddruple bypass at 75 and also has been told she has Hepatitus and scalrosis of the liver. Alot to handle for an elderly person. I have been receiving some rather hateful emails while I was gone her. I am so sorry so many are offended that I have been gone or not been rating them and their pics. I was not trying to be rude nor piss anyone off. Please understand that we all find it hard sometimes to be tied to our own pleasures when those we love are in pain. OK, so I decided to post this here, partly as a rant and venting of my ire, partly because I thought it was well written-enough to share. Am I Getting Old?
So over the weekend I went with 15 other people for a crazy weekend up north. We stayed in a cabin on a lake and had over $1000 of alcohol. The first night staying up till the early morning hours drinking like old times playing drinking games and skinny dipping in the lake. Then I get old! Even though I went to bed so late (and was drunk) I was up early enough to go fishing and sit in a boat for 7 hours. Only caught a small perch to add to the misery. I Am So Thrilled
I've completed all my pre-op requirements & have 18 more pounds to lose & I will have my gastric by-pass surgery & I will begin a new life to a new & healthier me! I'm now walking ALOT..I walk 3 miles most days & I pushe d it a little hard & my right knee is giving me fits but I am doing range of motion exersises & stretches so it is coming along rather quickly.. I had to stop walking for almost 2 weeks to allow it to heal...but I'm going at it again...I use a heart monitor watch that is set to a certain heart rate in which I burn the most fat & calories..this little watch has made my walking alot more valueable to me & my success in losing my weight..This time next year I'm going to be a lean ...mean...fighting machine.. As soon as I get the money saved up ..I'm going to join the kick-boxing gym here in town to further progress myself in getting in better shape..Why am I doing this??? Well 1st & foremost ..I'm doing it for myself.. Secondly..I want to live so I can continue to watch

serves 6 1 1/2 pounds beef boneless chuck round roast, cut int cubes 1 cup beef broth or water 1/3 cup chopped fresh or 2 tbsp dried coriander leaves 1/3 cup chopped fresh italian or regular parsley 1 tbsp olive or vegetable oil 1 tsp ground ginger 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1/8 tsp ground red pepper 12 cloves garlic 3 slices lemon cut in half 2 large tomatoes seeded and chopped Heat oven to 325 degrees. Update # 4....sucks Ass
Mary is not happy right now. I'm sitting in the torture chamber (wound care center), letting them do their thing. Which is remove the top layer of skin. Well today, I couldn't get my normal lala shots, because they were unsure of what procedure the vascular surgeon/doctor was going to do. I did take my slow release morphine which was releasing way too slow for this shit. Anyway, as they were finishing up, my cell phone rings. So, I ask one of the nurses to answer it. Imagine this.....The vascular surgeon was calling to postpone my appointment until Thursday. The nurse wouldn't even give me the phone. My blood pressure was already 212/150 from the pain and she knew if I got on the phone something was gonna explode. So anyway, here I am, back at home, in more pain that I left with....waiting yet again to try to see a doctor that can hopefully give me some relief. Hope y'all have a wonderful day! Mary

How Fukked Up My Day Was....
Ok, to start off my fkn day...i had to get my car to the shop....seemingly easy huh? OH NO, not for me..My lil brother was supposed to follow me up to the shop in the next town. Jesse's New Home
Well yesterday I had a total meltdown over what's been happenin' in my house with my dogs. I felt like I needed to find a new home for Jesse to alleviate some stress from my family, from him as well as the other dogs. I really don't need my sweet boy turning into Cujo because his sister is in heat. He is such a good boy under normal circumstances. So one of the girls I go to school with , her grandfather ....who is 86 years old love beagles and still hunts. So that's where he went. He lives right accross the street so i can see him but I think I'm debating on leaving him alone for a while so he gets used to the idea of being there. I hope it all works out. He has always treated all his other dogs well and they live to be old and die of old age....not abuse. So Just keep good thoughts for Jesse, that he transitions well into his new environment.

Better Than Sex Cake
1 package German Chocolate Cake Mix 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk 2 cups hot fudge topping 1 (12 oz.) container frozen whipped topping, thawed 4 chocolate toffee bars (Skor or Heath) Bake german chocolate cake mix according to package directions. While cake is still warm poke holes in top of cake with the end of a wooden spoon, pour sweetened condensed milk over top. Let cake cool. Pour hot fudge topping over top of cake and let set. Spread on whipped topping and garnish with crushed toffee bar crumbs. Makes 24 servings.

Mocha Angel Dessert
1 package butterscotch pudding mix (not instant) 1 1/2 cups water 1/2 teaspoon instant coffee powder 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1 angel food cake 3 Coffee Crisp chocolate bars 2 1/2 cups whipping cream, whipped 1/4 cup coffee liqueur Mix pudding mix and water together in a medium saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in coffee powder and vanilla. Cool. Cut angel food cake into 1 inch pieces. Crush Coffee Crisp bars in food processor. Fold half of the whipped cream into the cooled pudding, and stir in the liqueur. Fold in the angel food cake pieces. Assemble in a nice glass dessert bowl. Start with a layer of 1/3 of the pudding mixture. Top with 1/3 of the crushed Coffee Crisp bars. Then another layer of pudding, another layer of Coffee Crisp, the remaining pudding, and the remaining Coffee Crisp. Top with the reserved whipped cream. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.

serves 4 8 ounces macaroni 1 rotisserie roasted chicken 1 cup prepared Alfredo sauce 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Preheat oven to 350°F. Bacon, Egg And Cheese Pizza
1/2 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled 8 oz shredded Swiss cheese 4 eggs 12 oz sour cream 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley Roll pastry to fit into a 12-inch pizza pan. Bake at 425 for 5 minutes. Sprinkle bacon and cheese evenly over crust. In a bowl, beat eggs, sour cream and parsley until smooth; pour over pizza. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until pizza is puffy and lightly browned.

Bacon And Egg Lasagna
serves 6 8 ounces diced bacon 1/2 large onion, chopped 1/8 cup flour 1/4 to 1/2 tsp salt 1/8 tsp pepper 1 pint milk 6 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained 6 hard-boiled eggs, sliced 8 ounce cup shredded Swiss cheese 1/8 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 tbsp minced fresh parsley In skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Remove with slotted spoon to paper towels. Drain, reserving 1/3 cup drippings. In the drippings, saute onion until tender. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until blended. Gradually stir in milk. Bring to boil and cook and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Spread 1/2 cup sauce in greased 13x9x2" baking dish. Layer with four noodles, a third of the egg and bacon, cheese and sauce. Repeat layers twice. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until bubbly. Sprinkle with parsley. Let stand 15 minutes before cutting. Can be made the night before and refrigerated. To serve, remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking

Sad Day
Six years ago today. My grandmother, and best friend past away. She was my rock. She knew i was pregnant before i did. I could tell her everything. And every year you expect it to get better but it doesnt. I look at my beautiful daughter and wish that my grandmother could be here to enjoy her. She would have loved her to death. She would have loved to go shopping with her. The funny thing is that my daughter talks about her alot. She was only three months old when she did so she never got the chance to actually spend time with her. I believe that my grandmother is here in spirit and that my daughter sees her everyday. I think that as we get older we block those kinds of things out but children don't. So here is to the memory of my grandma who is surely missed by many who loved her and knew her.

Sunday sept. 23 my extended family lost a great member. Anthony Lataster 20yrs old, died from a motorcycle accident. A little boy was going through a very bad time with his anger. He would get very angry at the least thing,throw a tantrum and behave very badly. Loss...
Well, I just received a phone call that I have been dreading for a couple of weeks. One of my aunts passed. It was just a few weeks ago, we learned that had cancer of the kidneys and a couple of other spots as well. She had been having problems with Alzheimer's and she was older; she was 78 but in my eyes, she was still a young, beautiful woman who was filled with so much love for everyone she met. I spent so much time with her as a child and throughout my teenage years and even throughout my 20's. She was one of my all time favorites! Woot First Movement Video
This is the first movement of my daughter, its only one but you can see it, shes a smart little devil and knows when im trying to record her on a moving session so i was lucky to even get this.
