Separate us
Yet I feel

Lips like roses
Deep within me I feel

A thirst I can’t quench

Laughter across the crowd
Perfume upon the breeze
Reminders of her bring back

The drive to go
Close the distance
Needing to feel

Together we fall
Within the comfort of each other
Arms and legs wrapped around

Our bodies dance
The special dance of a couple
And for a bit we relive
