Pray For This 14 Year Old!!!
I don't ask for help, it's not a part of who I am. I am very much a do it myself kind of person, and I always have been. Today I am swallowing my pride and asking for help from anyone and everyone who reads this bulletin, and anyone they can pass it on to. She need prayers, and lots of them. If you look in my default folder there is a picture of a beautiful little girl. She's my baby. She is 4 years old, and her name is Sierra-Grace. She has had medical issues since she was born, and the blow we got today is that she may have Leukemia. I think those have to be the scariest words a parent can ever get. "Your daughter may have cancer." My heart stopped, and my throat closed with emotion. I am totally lost in this uncertainty, and don't know if I am coming or going. Please pray. Life In Paradise
Nothing quite like going to the coast and cruising up and down it. Saturday my buddy Stu and I went up Old La Honda road and made our way to the Pacific. The weather was amazing for driving in my jeep with the top off. The ocean was tropical blue for a change. We headed south to Santa Cruz and made our way to Capitola. We must have had a good time at Margaritaville, the parking ticket said it all. It must have been 80 degrees with an amazing breeze. There were quite a few people out and about. A couple of bachelorette parties. Cute drunk chicks can be so fun! Made our way back over the hill and home safe and sane after a dumb and dangerous day.

So, this dude tried to break into my home last night through the window at 2am. I waited paitently for him to climb through while I sat there with a folding steel chair in hand. After he got half-way through I went "Mick Foley" on his head. I thought I knocked him out, but apparently I watch too much wrestling on TV. He got back up, then I gave him 10 more slams on the head and called the cops to haul out the twitching body. Havent Been On Alot Lately Due To Surgery!
Sorry to all my friends and fans and family members out there! Im not ignoring you all or neglecting you! I recently as in Friday August 31 under went and unexpected or actually rather more quickly schedule than expected hysterectomy. I came home on the second which was a Sunday and Im doing good still lots of pain. But Im doing good! Its been exactly one week to day since I had it and every one keeps telling me that Im pushing it because Im back up on my feet and runnin here and there as i usually did picking up my god daughter and playing with her like nothing happened. Though I am very much feeling it to day and kind of regreting it. I guess its relaxation tomorow like my hubby has asked me kindly to do since I came home from the hospital on Sunday (the 2nd). This morning when I took the dogs out before I left for work, I heard a pack of coyotes down one of the side streets about a block away. They were howling up a storm, but it didn't really concern me too much because there was a little distance. What did concern me is when I heard two more start howling behind me. They were between my backyard and my neighbor and couldn't have been more than 50 feet away. I don't know whether the fact that it was still dark out made things better or worse, because I couldn't actually see them, but they were close. For the past three nights, I have been attending the Open House at the school where I work. A friend from here, wrote an excellent blog critiquing his experience at his own child's school. Interesting to read, but being on the other end of such an event....I was totally disheartened by what transpired the past few nights. There are 120 kids in the 8th Grade, 40 of them are in my homeroon. But during the course of the day I see each of these kids twice. Once for Math and then again for Science. I do my best to learn names. Yet, in the school I teach, there are a few Michaels, a few Anthonys, a few Ashleys and the rest are names that have become very abundant our society. Well my mom went to the dr today to have her drain tube removed and got some bad news...Her eye has gotten worse..The dr thinks more nerve damage was done when they had to go back in the second time to stop the bleeding..I feel really bad for her and at a loss of what to even say to her,,I know she is pretty bummed hoping to get good news today..I know its all in gods hands so please pray she will regain the nerves to the right side of her face! First Day Of School
Well today was my first day of school. Pretty boring paper work and signing my life away for my grants and things like that. After lunch we had a lady in from Paul Mitchell that did a product line seminar. Yes I found that pretty boring has well. First Week Almost Over.
Tomorrow is my last school day for the week. I had my first test today and made an A. which really surprised me, since the terms we had to learn where pretty difficult. Got an e-mail from my Uncle Donald this morning concerning my Uncle Michel....."They stopped his special antibiotics over the weekend because his hemoglobin was 60 (in a normally healthy person they should be 12-15), his platelets 18 (normal healthy is 150 to 450 and below 20 is considered life threatening), and his White Blood Cell Count was 1,97. Got 2 days of Albumin and 4 units of blood last night. Should have results of cultures back today, but they have also found an infection in his blood. Pain is getting worse, he is taking Oxy every 3 hrs and this morning they gave him morphine. We have started discussing that this may be time to go home. Yesterday, Oct. 18 2007, A tragic event shook Highland Highschool andthe surrounding community in Albuquerque New Mexico. Ryan Vigil, A senior at Highland, was shot and killed in the early afternoon. Today my daughter Sierra-Grace turns 5. For those new to my friend's list, this is a miracle in itself. She lost her twin in utero, and was in and out of the NICU unit for the first 2 years of her life. She was diagnosed as Failure to Thrive, and spent several years in physical and occupational therapies. She had also been under the care of a dietition and neurologist. This year we faced another challenge, which was a Leukemia scare. Luckily the testing for that came out negative, but they have yet to determine the cause of her illnesses. She has more testing tomorrow. I just wanted to post a blog to say thank you, to God, or whichever higher power you believe in for another full year with my baby girl. Every day is a miracle, and every year even more so. She asked me yesterday if she was going to be 5 when she woke up, I said "Well if you want to be technical, you won't be 5 until tomorrow night." ok heres the thing. I have a son who i adore more then life its self, but his "father"and i use that word lightly is saying that the baby isnt his but he did agree to take a dna test to find out if my son is his (which i know he is) but every time i try to get ahold of the guy he avoids me and wont return my messages. Hi everyone. Ive had a pretty messed up day today. I went to go so a friend of mine and he has his door open up it was locked from the inside so i knew he was there. Well i knocked on the door, Yelled and kicked the door and he wouldnt answer so i thought something bad happened to him. I had to call the police and by the time they got there he walked out of the house and i started crying because i thought he had a heart attack or was died. My friends 6 month old baby is have surgery tomorrow and I know thats going to be a crazy day for her tomorrow. I hope everything goes ok with the baby and i hope they come home safe. 1/2 cup mayonnaise 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard Grated peel of 1 lemon 1 tablespoon minced parsley 6 chicken breast halves with skin Juice of 1 lemon 1/3 cup dry white wine 1. Why I Havent Been On Here So Much
Rather than tell each of you seperately, thought I'd write it on here rather than keep repeating myself. Well you know I've had loads of health problems recently, well this is the latest update. I've got several Cysts on my ovaries and a particuarily large on on my right ovary, I've got to wait another 4 weeks then I will have another scan, if Cyst hasnt reduced in size, I might have to have a biopsy and have it removed. I went for my kidney scan today, To find might right kidney is a lot larger than normal, and I have a lot of fluid in both my kidneys, not sure what this means, but they are arranging for me to have a special xray to see kidney functioning also to see a Eurologist, kidney specialist. So its a case of waiting now. I have notice a new trend which is disturbing me greatly. Changes in Pic Ratings! Last night, Babyj did some tweaks to picture rates. Members are now able to re-rate a photo about once per week... the re-rate will count as a full rating (ie: it will look like they've never rated it before, but the number of ratings and the average rating will keep increasing for the photo). This was done to encourage users to revisit their friends’ galleries, as well as speed up the ratings pages.
