Today marks a turning point for me, though. I sold a drawing to a friend. There are so many emotions inside me right now. Some Good News, And Some Bad News....
Hello all, I went to the Eye Dr yesterday, and had some good news. Each eye individually I have almost 20/20 vision, but, with my right eye socket still being broken, it is still causing the blury/double vision. The good news about that though is that it has been getting better, its slowly not as blurry and as some of the test showed it seems to be more blury only at certain directions, or double at certian directions, i.e. looking up is a lot works than looking left for example. At the moment is a hurry up and wait senario. He could prescribe corective lenses in which it would use a prism to redirect the light so things would be in focus. However, being I see the Plastic Surgeon on Friday to get another CT of the broken eye socket and see how its healing up, he doesnt want to do that yet in case there is a need for micro surgery or until he finds out if it will naturally correct itself over the next few months. Other than that, he said I just had a slight estigmatism

Looking Up On Life!
Alot has changed for me over the past few months. I found out back in May that I was pregnant and I am gettign further along. I have also met someone who has become very dear to me and his name is Matt. We are doing quite well together and are looking forward to the birth of our child. If the child is a girl, her name will be : Halona Angel Blackwell. Still working on if it comes back to be a boy though. But either way the baby will carry the last name: Blackwell. The I Have Just Discovered A Way To Overcome Resistance To Changes
I moved the kitchen around the other week because I was fed up with the stupid telephone falling over on the kitchen window sill above the sink. So, I went to town and moved everything around, cleaning at the same time. It took a while to find a new home for the phone because it needs a socket but I put it next to the hob and moved the kettle to where the coffee machine was. Finding it a little cluttered there I moved the coffee machine next to the telephone which was better because it does not give off the quantity of steam that the kettle does. I even found a cover for the phone to stop splashes from the hob, not that I splash too much because I hate cleaning hobs so prevention is easier than cure. The cover was courtesy of First Choice. I just took out the courtesy socks, toothbrush, sleep mask and a packet of toothpaste and put it on the phone. A girl I know once asked me why I hadnt been writing my whole life. She was impressed with the little short works I sent her and it gave me sort of a confidence boost. Taking Your Own Photos
For those who don't know wheather you want to take your own picture in a mirror because noone else is available to take it or your doing nsfw's and you do not want someone else taking it it is best if you have over head lighting or background lighting shut your flash off and then snap the photos. It's interesting on how we are so focused on weight these days...either due to the whole supersize controversy at McDonald's or these reality shows like The Biggest Loser or the upcoming Fat March. The Scariest Weekend Of My Life.............
Friday was a great day, full of kids, food and an awesome time watching fireworks. Saturday we woke up and Ray was complaining of pain in his jaw, he thought it was a bad tooth or something. I went to walmart to get some oragel for his tooth, came back and he was in total distress. He then was complaining that he had pain in his neck, chest and his left arm was going numb.............I RACED HIM TO THE ER IMMEDIATELY!!! Upon evaluating him in the ER his BP was 289/183, he was about to have a stroke or heart attack. We did all kinds of tests and the final diagnosis was 'severe hypertension' and 'dangerously high Blood Pressure' along with a condition called 'Trigeminal Neuralgia', this ia an inflammatory condition of a cranial nerves. Potential Tattoo Sleeve....help Me Decide

Bloody Hell...I dont even know where to start with this...When I was a kid (as with most kids) I was a big fan of batman, however, I was an even bigger fan of the Joker. Anyway getting to my original point, When I heard that Heath Ledger was cast to play the Joker in the latest batman movie the Dark Knight I cringed. HOWEVER let me say that after a few months of trailers I can honestly say that this may be one of the greatest portrayals of an iconic villain EVER. So, apparently, word has spread of my "expertise with weird carcass disposal methods. Thursday, I received a phone call from a friend in the university's Department of Occupational and Environmental Services. He knew of my work with my radioactive rats, and wanted my opinion on how to dispose of something. I went over to his office to see what was up. Apparently, another lab had some animals they needed to dispose of, but they were of a "special" nature. They were woodchucks, but not just your normal, garden-variety woodchucks. Oh no, that would have been too easy. This lab had been experimenting with woodchuck hepatitis, which apparently (my new favorite word) acts very similar to human hepatitis. This made the carcasses biohazardous waste, which, in and of itself, isn't an issue. They were also contaminated with Carbon-14, a slightly radioactive isotope with a half-life of around 5000 years. The department says the Texas cards won’t work in Louisiana, and stores should refer anyone trying to use those cards to the local clinic for the “WIC” program. It says that the state of Texas should have issued a verification card to Louisiana food stamp recipients when they got the Texas cards—and people need to bring that verification card, too. Anyone with questions can call the Partners for Healthy Babies phone line at 1-800-251-2229. This only applies to food stamp recipients who evacuated to Louisiana.

Dad Update 9 26 08
Hey ya'll! Thanks again for the msg.s and comments. I am still sitting with Dad for at least 6 more weeks. I think it will be 12 BUT Dad is being postive. So that is a good thing. He has had problems with his sugar dropping for no reason. Monday AM he had a spell and my Nephew Ben would not leave for work b4 I got there. By mid-day he was fine. I took em to get his hair cut and he had me run into Wally-World and get my Step Mom Pat a 25 Annv. card. We went home and he was doing fine 5 min after I walked out the door. He passed out. Pat had moved her car to the wheelchair ramp and when she got back in the house he was out cold. His sugar dropped AGAIN. So dinner was out of the question. Yesterday he bottomed out at 3pm Once again no reason. He eats BUT he is eating things to get his sugar up then when he gets it up it just drops. His next Dr. app. is Tuesday. Baked Crab Dip

NOODLE AND TUNA CASSEROLE 1 (7 oz) can tuna fish 1 (10 3/4 oz ) can cream of mushroom soup 2 cups noodles (before cooking) buttered bread crumbs Cook noodles in salted water,drain and rinse in cold water. EmilyIMAX's Winter Beef Stew 6 slices bacon - or more, you can save for BLT's MMMMMMM Onions Carrots Potatoes 3 garlic cloves Stew meat Nip Cognac 3 C Burgundy (or red wine) 3 T Flour 2 T Tomato Paste 1 T Currant Jelly - Found in the Jelly Aisle 3 C Beef Broth 1/2 t Thyme 1 T Salt 1/2 t Pepper 2 Bay Leaves Sprig Parsley t = teaspoon T = Tablespoon C = Cup Cook bacon.
