I'm glad to say that FINALLY one of these things is TRUE!!! I went to the Snopes link listed at the bottom. Subject: Sears - Christmas shopping has already started I know I needed this reminder since Sears isn't always my first choice. Amazing when you think of how long the war has lasted and they haven't withdrawn from their commitment. Could we each buy at least one thing at Sears this year? How does Sears treat its employees who are called up for military duty? By law, they are required to hold their jobs open and available, but nothing more. Usually, people take a big pay cut and lose benefits as a result of being called up. Sears is voluntarily paying the difference in salaries and maintaining all benefits, including medical insurance and bonus programs, for all called up reservist employees for up to two years. I have added a link to the FUBAR Bible below that will tell you what a salute is and examples of some. What a SALUTE is & How to SUBMIT one A salute is important to some b/c it shows that you are who you say you are. If you can not understand why some can not take you for your word then maybe you have not been stalked, lied to, or messed with via the internet. Once you have you will understand, but I do not wish that on anyone b/c it sucks rocks with sharp blades. Do not get mad at anyone b/c they won’t add you without one, just respect their decision and move on. Hopefully you will make one, if not, that is your decision too and they should respect that too. well, I watched the game last night. Wasn't really rooting for anyone because my team wasn't in it. But I did watch for the commercials. My favorite?? The SoBe water one. With the lizards dancing to Thriller. It was the cutest by far. I was kind of disappointed with the commercials. They aren't as good as I remembered before. Maybe it is just me. Chapter 1 It was just noon as the man returned to town from his excursion into the woods to take care of the raiders. He had been noticing less and less since his weekly trips. This last week has been a bizarre few days. Idiot Sighting
We had to have the garage door repaired. The Sears repairman told us that one of our problems was that we did not have a "large" enough motor on the opener. I thought for a minute, and said that we had the largest one Sears made at that time, a 1/2 horsepower. He shook his head and said, "Lady, you need a 1/4 horsepower." I responded that 1/2 was larger than 1/4. He said, "NO, it's not." Four is larger than two.." We haven't used Sears repair since. IDIOT SIGHTING My daughter and I went through the McDonald's take-out window and I gave the clerk a $5 bill. Our total was $4.25, so I also handed her a quarter. She said, "you gave me too much money." I said, "Yes I know, but this way you can just give me a dollar bill back." She sighed and went to get the manager who asked me to repeat my request. I did so, and he handed me back the quarter, and said We're sorry but they could not do that kind of thing." The clerk then proceeded to give me back $1 and 75 cents in c

I occasionally do some really stupid things. Things like believing that someone could be in love with me when they'd never met me. Taking that stupidity further, I love them back. Small wonder I remain single IRL. This last is no exception. I made a mistake, and paid the price. I allowed someone to use my emotions to suit them. Once again, I gave my all to someone. In the last end of it, I did something bad, and without so much as a word, she decided to leave. I only found out tonight, four days after her decision. My reasons for staying in San Diego are gone, and soon I'll be leaving. My career continues to supply me with endless possibilities in all parts of the country... Recently, I had a severe accident while riding my bicycle. It left me with some pretty ugly cuts on my torso and legs, my shoulder re-broken and a few ribs fractured, along with a ruined bike. I'm waiting to heal from this before I leave... In happier news, I'm still alive! kinda...

So Its Official
Yea, I'm out of my lease at my old apartment. It's been kind of difficult on me, seeing as how everything in my life is sort of up in the air. I have no clue what's going to happen other than that I am going to school and hopefully volunteering at the museum of natural history in Florida. Me and my ex-fiance are still really close and it kinda sucks that things had to end as they did, but cest la vie. Guess it was just not meant to be. It's a bittersweet good bye and hopefully my future will contain bigger and better things.

This Pain

I'm not a fan of infidelity. I believe everybody should stay loyal to their partners. Why do I feel like I am constantly drowning in a sea of inconsiderate assholes. I swear every single time I go somewhere I almost (or do) end up in a verbal or physical fight. My Impossible Happiness
Why can't I let myself have happiness and just be happy? I have somehow convinced myself that I am unworthy of happiness and unworthy of letting anyone be nice to me.. i just spent the morning job shadowing on a cancer floor at the hospital. one of the patients was dying...very close to death. she is 57 . her husband of 37 years has been by her side for days on end....holding vigil. two things i realized........ one....this is where i belong. this is were i feel fulfilled and validated, caring for the dying. two....this is what i want..a man to stand by me when i am at my worst no matter how painful it may be for him, selflessness... this is not what i ever had....and so, it has made this day a good one, as i go thru the grieving process of another failed relationship.

Sick Like...?
I was diagnosed with Grave's Disease in January 2003. I almost had a heart attack on the freeway. Grave's Disease is hyperthyroidism. My thyroid went into hyper mode late 2002. I had a friend I was on and off friends with as growing up. We re-established a friendship, when we were about 14/15, thanks to our parents. He was a really good friend of mine, nothing more (although I always thought he had a crush on me). I was in our small hometown pageant and he escorted me. He also took my to my last homecoming I would attend. At 17, and on Easter morning, Michael was found dead in his bedroom. He had been in some trouble with some speeding tickets hiding them from his parents and had also been battling depression. Real Economic Stimulation.
Does anyone seriously think that the stimulus checks being mailed next month are going to help this economy?. It's like putting a band aid on a head wound. It will cover the hole for about a minute, but soon enough it's going to start bleeding threw again till it gets permanently stitched up. A real solution is needed. My thought is to open our oil reserves and drop all gas prices. Then sign into law that all auto makers mass produce bio-diesel fueled automobiles. Not only will the economy improve so will the environment. Sure the cars may be a little more costly, but with the money we save on fuel the cost of the vehicles can be absorbed. What do you think?

May 6, 2008 (Day 31) Well today is the day I have dreaded for about 2 weeks now. This evening at 5pm I have my MRI. I am not going to lie, I am scared to death...not only because of the way they will position me in that tube/coffin (as I call it) but am fearful of what they might find on the reading of the test. I need lots of prayer and support today people...come to my aid if you can either through prayer or a little pick me up note to get me through this test. I appreciate every little thought. On a good note....my Muga Scan results came back late yesterday afternoon and they were negative...woohoo! Today is not one of the best days i have had...it was great news that my soon to be ex got his divorce papers, but it states in there that he is to return out son to me...which right now i have him, and he (my ex) has our 2 small girls...He called me today to let me know he got his papers and that i was sneaky for doing what i am doing but he was suppose to bring my girls to me on sunday he now is saying that he is not going to bring me m y girls back..Hes says seeing i have what i wanted (which is my son) that i am not getting what he has (my girls) Right now i dont know what to do or know how to feel...i miss i girls sooo much...i want nothing more than them to be with me right now...They are 3 years and 6 months...Its hard to get my mind on to anything else...My head hurts, i got a headache, ive cried on and off all day...Have this feeling and know that he is not giving them back...I just miss them soo much...He is also saying that he is now filing a motion to have custody of all 3

Hi everyone, hope you are all doing well today. I had a rather busy weekend. Went food shopping and some other errands on Saturday. What Is The Deal With People?

Yesterday I spoke of the Black Sorority Barbie…Today’s story sums it all up. There was a reason for all the hoopla. Mattel’s rival company MGA apparently took market shares away from Mattel with a doll called the Bratz doll a multiethnic hip hop fashion doll. Mattel fought rival MGA Entertainment Inc for ownership of the multiethnic, hip-hop-inspired fashion dolls, which have snared substantial market share from Mattel's Barbie since Bratz launched in 2001. All this over a doll. Big money it seems. I am waiting for the dolls to come out with the guys pants hanging down with his boxers showing…You know I just don’t get that craze yet and will never get it. I saw this the other day in the News Paper where presidential candidate for the democratic side was in Iraq (obama). I thought to myself what good could come out of this? Then I semi felt like hey wait a minute what an idiot and the only good could come out would be those wanting the troops back home would gain his vote. I see it as more of a motivational move on his part to gain backers, supporters and to show his foreign policy would be one that people would trust. You ever heard the term “Free Lunch”? There always is a catch, whether it is immediate or months or years down the road the catch comes up from behind you and then you know you have been swindled. Why don’t more congressmen go overseas and fix governmental problems, create better international welfare between countries we have mixed emotions with (gun fire), eat dinner at foreign leaders palaces and call off the dogs of war (nuclear weapons)…….then I thought…why because there is nothing in it for those we choose as leaders

This family we have the main thing that makes us special is our unity and our heart. You guys have the biggest hearts of anybody I have seen on this site. Here is your chance for each and everyone of you to have your own special day. The idea that I have is to have what we will call Member of the Day.
