MY AUTOBIOGRAPHY
Part 1: The Birth of You:
Were you a planned baby?: Nope, my parents were trying not to get pregnant again...lol.
Were you the first?: Nope, the 5th child.
Who was present at your birth? Only Mom (Dad wasn't allowed at that hospital), the doc, and a nurse.
My mom was actually canning pears when she went into labor with me, so my dad and older brothers took over the canning and finished the chores, as she went to hospital...lmao.
Were your parents married when you were born?: Yep, for many years already...
What is your birthdate?: 9/22/1974
Part 2: The Family
How would you describe your family?: There in a split second when you need them...
Fiercely loyal and possibly a little too enmeshed lol, but loving, protective, even if flawed and dysfunctional! :P
Siblings or an only child?: Five - 4 older brothers and 1 younger sister
If you have siblings are you oldest, middle, or youngest?: Middle of the last batch of three.
What are your siblings names and ages?: Scott 49, Dave 47, Rick 45, Marc 37, Aly 31.
Which parent do you get along with best?: I get along a little better with my mom, but I work with and get along better with my dad every day :)
What do you fight about?: Work, mostly, or anything that bugs me about how they treat each other...
Do you have step parents?: Nope, my parents are still married - 50 years this year.
Part 3: The Friends
Do you have more than one best friend?: Yes...I have 3 best girlfriends.
Who are your best friends?: Misty, Michelle, and Nancy
What do you like to do when you are together?: Talk, go to concerts, play video games, shop, watch TV and gossip lol, party, and just be, mostly.
Do you share the same interests?: For the most part...

Part 4: Your Personality
How high/low is your self esteem?: It's always been fairly low, but I have a lot of support, and they try to get me to see my own inner beauty...but it's definitely hard, for sure...
Are you an extrovert or an introvert?: I'm usually an extrovert, but sometimes I just want to be alone.
Are you happy?: I am for the most part, but I definitely get emo sometimes...
Do you live life to the fullest?: I try...
Part 5: Appearance
Are you comfortable with the way you look?: Not particularly...if I could be less fat, I would...lmao
Do you have any piercings besides your ears?: Besides the 5 in my ears, yes, one in my tongue
Describe your hair.
Medium long, naturally wavy, but sometimes curly, sometimes straight, light brown with honey and blond highlights here and there, layered with bangs that have grown out past my chin.
What make-up do you wear?: I only wear makeup in my eye area... and yes, I overplucked my eyebrows as a teen + into my late 20s, so I fill them in (hahaha)
How do you dress?: Jeans or capris and a tshirt or zip hoodie and tank or tunic with tennies or sandals
Part 6: The Past
Were you a strange child?: I was Daddy's Little Girl, and my youngest older brother's baby (he pretty much raised me)...but not very strange, just trying to keep friends I'd made which was hard growing up as a Jehovah's Witness...
...and fat.
What did you use to love that you no longer do?: Ride bikes, climb trees, build forts, skateboard, roller skate, have dogs, cats, or rats (allergic since 11th grade)
Do you have the same friends?: Only one am I still friends with that I was best friends with in grammar - high school...Penny. Otherwise, all new in the last 10 years or so.
Was there anything in your past that was traumatizing? Yes...quite a few things, actually. Changed my life...and not necessarily for the best.
Part 7: The Future
What is your ambition?: I'd like to change careers and become a nurse. Starting school in two weeks, and CNA courses start in the fall. After I become an RN in a couple years, I'd like to be a traveling nurse and see more of the U.S.
Are you scared of growing old?: Yes and no...not scared exactly, but I don't really embrace it. I hate finding new wrinkles or crinkles, dammit! And I feel the body aches and know that the older I get, the more I'll feel them...
Do you want to get married?: Not particularly...haven't had the desire after seeing all the failed and hostile marriages of my siblings and friends. My parents are the only ones I know to have been together 50 years. It would have to be an incredibly unique and special (not short bus special though) man to get me to marry him...and it would probably take a number of tries on his part before I even considered saying yes. What can I say...I like my space and have dealt with a few long-term failed relationships, so...
Part 8: The Outdoors
Do you prefer indoors or outdoors?: I have a skin disorder on my face that I acquired about 5 years ago called melasma, and when I'm out in the sun, splotches of melanin are deposited into my cheeks, upper lip, chin, forehead and nose that never fade. So I try to stay out of the sun, but I love being outdoors when I can be, even in the rain.
What is your favorite season: Fall
Do you like walking in the rain?: Yes, love it!
Part 9: Food
Are you a vegetarian?: No, but I don't eat beef anymore.
What is your favorite fruit?: Nectarines and raspberries
What food makes you want to gag?: Brussel Sprouts, baked beans, 3-bean salad, peas, beets, octopus, oysters, squid, lengua (blech!)
What is your favorite dessert?: Cheesecake or Thrify's Double Chocolate Malted Crunch ice cream
What is your favorite restaurant? Mikado Sushi or Ichiban's
Are you a fussy eater?: Yes...I tear apart my food, because I don't eat much by way of carbs (pasta, tortillas, bread)...you should see my plate after I'm done with pizza, enchiladas, or spaghetti...lol...I leave behind a lot.
Part 10: Relationships and Love
Are you single or taken?: Single and diggin' it!!
If taken who is the lucky guy/girl?: Well, I do have mad love for someone from the Fu...but it won't ever come to fruition...*sigh*
Do you think love is the best feeling in the world?: When I'm in love with another person, it can be wonderful, but at the same time, I seem to wait for the other shoe to drop, screwing shit up :( And once it ends, it hurts like hell and makes me not want to love anyone that way except for myself.
Do you believe in love at first sight?: Lust at first sight, most definitely, but to get me to feel love for someone, it takes much more than just a glance.
Part 11: Experiences
What was one of your greatest experiences?: Driving from the Central Coast of California to Fairbanks, Alaska with my brother in 1997.
What was one of your worst?: The breakups with my last two boyfriends, the first of which had me wrongly jailed for a crime I didn't commit, only to be exonerated later. Go figure. That was my 5 year LTR...the latter breakup (2.5 yr LTR) was difficult due to a year of lies and deception from him that I had to come to grips with, and his marrying someone else shortly after our demise. And people wonder why I have been single the last couple of years...lol
Have you ever done drugs?: *giggles* Yep...quite a few different types, many times...
Have you ever thought you were going to die?: A few times when I was so spun out, and my heart started beating so hard I thought it would burst...and when I was held against my will and threatened by an ex for 6 hours...
Have you ever suffered from depression?: Yes, I was diagnosed with clinical depression at 19, and put on Prozac for the rest of my life. I stopped taking the Prozac cold turkey in July of 2006, though, and although I do go through short bouts with depression, still...I'll never go on antidepressants again. I decided it was mind over matter, and I succeeded with that. Yay, me!! :)
