Pdems Or Mbms?
I have just be diagnoised with a rare but potientally very deadly syndrome. It's called PDEMS (Premature Deletion of E-Mails Syndrome). What happens is someone who suffers from this reads an E-mail only once and than delete it without responding to the writer. The cause of this is unknown at this time. There does not appear to be any cure but it is easy to spot. If your friend or loved one doesn't respond to messages or ask you for information or photos they know you give them but they can't fiind it they could suffer from PDEMS. PDEMS should not be confused with MBMS. Multi blog Messaging Syndrome which has to do with someone belonging to more blog sites than they can keep up with. The messages are still available they just can't remember where they read it

Tough Night
I'm home after the daddy's weekend and the kids are all excited about the time they spent with him. I'm a little jealous of the Part-time fun dad atmosphere he creates with them while I do all the work, (raising them), I know ...I struggle within myself to be NICE and reassuring but let's be honest I don't like working my ass off while he has all the fun with them and I get to be the Heavy constantly,( disciple, bed time and the correcting / time outs) he swoops in and they lose all manners. The Latest On My Mom
Just to let everyone know, My Mom is home from the hospital now, The doctors found 6 tumors in her brain last wednesday and put her in the hospital for what they referred to as imperative radiation, the tumors are not localized and are cancer, they are all over her brain and already having an effect on her motor skills, she is having trouble speaking and walking and her thought process is not the same. She told me that this is the first time since this all started over a year ago that she is actually scared now. I have been scared but would never let her know that, Thanks to everyone who read my original bulletin and thanks for all of the prayers, it is comforting to have friends right now, you dont know how much it means to me. But I will keep you updated on everything, she is a very stuborn lady and determined so we will see whats next. Again thank you all for everything. Love Jacque

Portuchenua Beef-corn-mashed-potato
1.5lb ground beef 1 packet taco seasoning 2 cans corn 6 potatoes, cooked and mashed (or use instant) Cheddar Cheese or shredded Mexican Cheese Mix Brown the ground beef. Add the taco seasoning. Place beef in the bottom of 2 ovenproof 8-liter dishes (I use oval Corningware). Place a thin layer of cheese, then top with 2 cans of corn. Place mashed potatoes on top and sprinkle with cheese, as desired. Bake, covered, for about 30 minutes then uncover and bake 5 to 10 minutes longer. Let set for 5 minutes before serving. This was a dish my Grandma made and has been my favorite since I was a child. She got this from her mother who is French Canadian, so I don't believe I spelled it right! It's pronounced: Por-Tu-Shen-Wa. Very quick and easy to make and the family loves it!

Ok, I'm Irritated At Messengers
I am just saying this so everybody can know I officially fucking hate messengers right now and I am shutting mine off. Family Reunion!
My family reunion is next weekend and I don't really want to go cause I don't want to see how many people I don't know in my family... There were several mumms out in the past few days regarding child discipline. I have issues with the way some people dole out discipline, but that is in their house. I don't approve of children having melt downs in the center of the mall. Don't walk away from the kid, pick his heiny up and leave the mall. I love children and spend the day with 70 of them. I can't wait to have my own. I don't know why, I just can't wait to teach the little rugrats all kinds of things. My bass guitar finally died on me after 20 years of faithful service. Well, theres no use crying over spilled milk, on monday im going to buy a new bass. Im going to buy a Fender Highway One Jazz bass, actually this will be the first "professional" quality bass i have ever owned, not that i think it will make a difference one way or the other, cheap basses can sound pretty good too, its all in how you play not what brand of bass you play. I have owned around 30 electric guitars over the last 25 years, some of them have been really expensive american handmade instruments and some have been cheap korean or swedish guitars made out of plywood and plastic, i currently own a 1966 Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins model that sounds absolutely amazing and a swedish Hagström made of plastic, one of them is worth at least 2000$ and the other perhaps at the most 100$ but both of them are damm good guitars, i have actually used the plastic Hagström a lot more than the Gretsch, i wouldnt trade that sw

I Need Prayers
It does not seem like my little girl should be going to school.. I know it is just a half of day but it very hard on me .. I can't see my counselor for another 3 weeks because school is out. It's a weird day. But not too out of the ordinary. It feels weird. I forgot to take my pill today. Life Is Changing Again

Reacting Vs. Responding
There is a difference between reacting and responding. Let me explain. A reaction is control by emotion. No more, no less. Whether that emotion is fear, anger, lust, or love. For example, if I were to take a swing at you, you wouldn't stop and think about what to do. You would run, throw your hands up, or start swinging back. The fear of being hit dictates your actions. A response is controlled by conscince thought. You actually think about how you are going to handle the situation at hand. An example would be if I throw a frisbee at you. You can decide, to catch it, run after it, let it hit the ground, or not do aything at all. The point is, you counsciously thought about your actions before you acted them out. Just something to think about when you are faced with a situation where a reaction or a response could make a very big difference in how the situation plays out and ends.

Sad News
Ok well my mom went to the doctor today and noone on the family knew the real reason why. We just all thought that it was a routine visit for her blood pressure because she never told any of us anything differant. Well come to find out she went for a very differant reason..Apparantly she has had a lump in her neck for almost a year and the doctor said it is either a cyst or a tumor...they wouldnt xray it for fear of the radiation...so she goes next week for a biopsy...please will u all pray for my mom that it is just a cyst and not a tumor. Me and my mom are very close and if anything happened to her i would completely lose it.

Chocolate-dipped Strawberries
This recipe makes: 36 strawberries Preparation time : 20 minutes Cooking time : 10 minutes Ingredients 2 pints strawberries, stems intact 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate 1 teaspoon canola oil Cooking Instructions 1. Line two baking sheets with parchment or waxed paper. Wipe the strawberries clean and dry them well with paper towels. 2. Melt the chocolate with the oil over a double boiler. Stir until the mixture is smooth and the chocolate is completely melted. Remove from heat. 3. Hold a strawberry by its green top and dip it 3/4 of the way into the melted chocolate. Lift it out of the chocolate, let the excess chocolate run off and set the berry on one of the lined baking sheets. Repeat this for all of the strawberries. 4. Getting Older :)
The other day a young person asked me how I felt about being old. I was taken aback, for I do not think of myself as old. Upon seeing my reaction, she was immediately embarrassed, but I explained that it was an interesting question, and I would ponder it, and let her know. Old Age, I decided, is a gift. I am now, probably for the first time in my life, the person I have always wanted to be. Oh, not my body! I sometime despair over my body, the wrinkles, the baggy eyes, and the sagging butt. There is a petition circulating on the net to have a portion of Highway 401 designated as the "Highway of Heroes". The web site reads Quote Let's officially designate 'Highway of Heroes' In Ontario, when a Canadian soldier dies for his country in Afghanistan they touch Canadian soil at Canadian Forces Base Trenton. Things change in life everyday. Sometimes they are good, bad, and sometimes we just don't even know. All I know is that today I am good, and for once in a long time that feeling isn't coming from a job, a relationship, my kids, nothing. I am just good! Loss Of A Companion
Last night my sister came in the house crying, in her arms she held the lifeless form of one of her true companions. Her cat “Crip” or as she called him “her son” was hit by a car and perished on the spot in front of our house. There was nothing that I could do but to hold her as she wept. And when she finally let him go after an hour or so all I could do for him was to wash Crip's wounds and to wrap him in the cloths that I buried him in this morning. Now if you know my sister and me you know that we are great animal and pet lovers. And if you yourself have a pet you know that having that one true companion is far more then just a pet. our pets are our friends,our family and are there thru thick and thin. Their there when were happy and when were sad. These companions give their love so unconditionally and really ask only one thing in return and that is just to be loved back. Yesterday I was on a delivery for the company I work for and I witnessed a wreck. Soon as I saw I whipped our work truck around to respond. I hope anyone would. My coworker and I came up to the car and all these people were standing around just looking at it. Just standing there. No one was going to check on the car in the ditch. Who was in there? My Tattoo
So, today I want and saw the tattoo artist to have a consultation for the tattoo that I want to get. First off he was 15 minutes late, but as soon as he saw me he was like. Wow, long time no see! I'm like sorry, and he replied we were in junior and senior high together. Wow you look good. I was thinking this guy was full of shit then he rattled off both schools and even common teachers. I was getting good feelings from him right away. Then we talked about the work I wanted, I showed him all the little metals and stuff I had from the army and the air force and he was really into this. I told him I'm fairly conservative about what I want, but I want to do it justice I'm booked to get the work on the 27th of October because he said it'll take about half a day to do the work. Only trouble is I have to be at a wedding that day as the photographer. I'm really excited about this :) Sucks that I'll have to reschedule.

Why are so many guys "afraid" or "intimidated" by single mom's?? Not ALL of us are looking for a "DADDY" for our child/children or a paycheck!! We are capable of handling our own. Well closure mode is back in full swing. I finally made a decision and stuck to it in regards to the Cex(current ex). For those of you not aware of my situation I will give you a quick summary. Z0mg! I've Been Writing New Riffs!!
I really haven't been playing guitar (or bass) all that much recently... My shoulder and arm was fucked up for a few weeks, I've been rather depressed without a job, and I just haven't felt very creative... Well, today I picked up the guitar, plugged in the ol' Metal Maniac distortion pedal, and actually started writing new material! I haven't come up with a handful of good riff ideas like this in a long while, actually, so it's quite pleasing to me to finally write some good shit. Yeah, I know, I play bass in my band, but still, I love writing guitar material. As soon as I get my mic cord back from the practice spot, I'll mic up my shitty little practice amp and get some recordings. Probably nothing special, just guitar, maybe some overdubbed guitar parts (harmonies, twin-riffs, rhythm backings), and possibly bass, but drums, well, I suck at programming drums. Scared For Life
So, I was driving home tonight from work. And well... I drive through a bad part of town on the way home cause there is no other way.. anyways on the way home there was a MOB of people stretched across the road.. I had to come to a dead stop and they wouldn't move out of the way. When they finally did move out of the way it was just enough room for the car to get through. Speed Zone
I watched Speed Zone this weekend. I was surprised because it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It was supposed to be the third movie in the “Cannonball Run” series but, for whatever reason, it didn't get the title. It's got a lot of cast members from SCTV, like John Candy, and quite a few other big names (for the time). If you like the “Cannonball Run” movies I'd check this out, if you're able to. It doesn't appear to be very popular. I like cars, but I don't love them or base my life around them. I particularly like the 70's era muscle cars and anything that reaches “exotic” or “supercar” status. But I do like driving. You won't find me with a wrench, but at least I know where the go-faster pedal is. That's probably why I like racing games so much. I don't like games where the cars are made up. I really prefer the ones that license real cars. And I prefer games that don't make you race around a track all the time because I think it gets boring really quick.
