Off To Sonoma County
I leave today for 3 months in Sonoma County. For the first time since 2001, the Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport, will have commercial traffic. I get to go there and setup security, and train local people to run it. This is what I do, and why I am only at home 2 months a year. I can't wait for 3 months in wine country. I got called out of work at 11am this morning, as I got a phone call from the secretary at my mom's school. She told me how she was sick, her blood pressure was really high, and that if I couldn't come get her and take her to a doctor, then they were calling an ambulance or would take her themselves. I obviously left school, thank goodness I had a workshop today, and no kids, and picked her up. I took her to the hospital where they were worried she was going to have a stroke. I don't want to rehash the whole hospital experience, but she is ok. She is home and the doctor said she was fine. She has to go to at last 2 more doctors tomorrow, her primary and we're trying to find a neurologist. They want her to have an ultrasound done on her carotid artery to make sure that she is fine. Please say a prayer for her. I'm exhausted, but trying to keep positive. Why do parents have to get older??

The past couple of days have been rather... uneventful as usual, well at least for the most part. Hello everyone...Just giving you a little insight to how my life works..I work at the hospital so my hours and days are always changing. Right now I either work from 8am until 4:30 pm, or from 7am until 7:30 pm..And normally after work I'm too tired to even get on here and chat..On my days off I am at home with my son..I really have no one to watch my son so I do not go anywhere he cannot go. I try to go out and do things people my age are doing but it never works..If I make plans in advance something goes wrong and fucks everything up..My life is not mine anymore every chioce I make is made with my son's best interest at heart. For some people this is hard to understand and others accept it happily. I spend my days off picking up after my child and making sure the house is clean and the both of us have clean clothes. Both of my kids were early but by the grace of God niehter one were so early thatwe needed the help of this organization. Though that is not the case of one of my nieces. She was born weighing 3 lbs. She was in the hospital for months, she is doing great now (she is 7) still has some issues from being born premature. I am asking for dontaions for this walk. So the wheel chair guy came today and brought the legs for the wheel chair, but they don't lock. :( So he is getting me a brand new wheel chair with new legs for it too. So I wont be back in school until Tuesday. I hope I can go back to school soon. This sucks, I am bored and I want this cast off. I have to use crutches and big girls arent made for crutches. LOL! I cried today because I miss my friends and I can't do nothing on my own. I like to be independent, but I'm not so independent with a wheel chair and crutches. My mother yelled at me because she has to wait hand and foot on me. I said well sorry its not my fault I'm in this cast. I didn't mean to slip on a wet mat and then re injure my self in school. I hope this will all hurry up and get better really soon.

It's offical!!! I am done with school now. I am done with school because with my cast and wheel chair there is no way I can get back to school. So the school is going to give me my exams and basically pass me. Which is lame I don't want someone to pass me because I am a "cripple" I want to pass on my own abilities. So I will go back just for graduation on May 24th. Hopefully this cast will be off by then and I can walk the green and graduate with my class of 2007. Well, it has been a long time in coming. I think I started this project back in January. I took the initial hand gun training at the North Texas Shooting Academy. That training familiarized me with my 9 mm Smith and Wesson Sigma. I finished the commission training at Statewide Training Academy. This covered the laws governing Security Officers in Texas, as well as firing procedures with the Semi-Automatic. I earned a 90% on the written test, and shot a 236 out of 250 with the 9 mm. 6/3 California Ride
A big Hello and much luv to my Blog readers. Yesterday was a good day for a ride. My brother in Law had a place in mind to ride to that he thought I would enjoy. With gas tanks full he and I rode out of Freemont towards Livermore. From there we headed to Mt Hamilton which is in California's Diablo Mountain range. After to many turns and switchbacks to count we parked our bikes at The University of California's Lick Observitory. (Freemont elevation is 45' above sea level. We were now at 4200') after spending a few min enjoying the view we continued our ride now heading down the mountain again through a series of turns and switchbacks to San Jose and then back to Freemont. The ride was a blast. Last night with the use of Google Earth I was able to trace our route. Next ride will be this weekend when we head north into the redwoods.

Just Felt Like Venting.
the other day at work a patient, after breaking open the fasteners that keep the windows from opening and kicking out the screen she jumped out of it. she landed on a padded roof 13ft or more below with minor damage, but then proceeded to go to the edge and eventually jumped another 25 ft to concrete and grass causing serious injury to herself. actually when the paramedics who were present on scene ran over to her she wasnt breathing :-( this was a truly unfortunate incident and the woman was odviously in crisis and clearly determined to kill herself. now from the moment she 1st jumped out the window my dept go the call and me and my officers all responded quickly, so fast that many of us were on scene before she walked over to the 2nd ledge, we all scrambled to get air mattresses blown up and in place, to block off the area and keep the crowd away, and several of us, myself included rushed upstairs to gain access to that area of the roof where she had jumped. folks that know me kno

Not Sure How To Handle Father's Day

Lemon Sorbet In Lemon Shells
Lemon Sorbet in Lemon Shells LEMON CUPS: 8 lemons - You'll need one lemon per person. Make sure the end (not the stem end) has a nice shaped "bump" and try to purchase uniform lemons.) Cut off the top 1/3 of the lemon (not the stem end) and reserve for the "cap." Hollow out each lemon by using a grapefruit knife (the angled blade keeps you from puncturing the bottom and you can also cut underneath the center of the fruit) just inside the rind and circling the flesh (being careful not to puncture the lemon). Remove juice and flesh and put it in your juicer. Make a slight shallow cut on the bottom of each lemon shells (being careful not to cut through to the inside of the lemon). Problems
Ok I want to let everyone know that I have been experiencing problems with being online. Not sure yet if it is my router or a bad connection but I will be online either on CT or somewhere else and either my screen freezes or I just get booted. So if I am here and all of a sudden I am not it's not that I left anyone hanging on purpose it's my connection. Also if it has to do with the connection I have to go and unplug the router and reset it so it takes awhile and sometimes that doesnt work so I usually if I am sleepy or am busy will just give up and try again later. oh well the frustrations of internet problems..fun fun fun

If people don't quite get it by the end of the paper, they probably ain't going to. I Have Just Ran Across Something That Made Me Very Sad..

I Just Can't Belive This!
Hello all! Wow i had an intresting night last night. I had to go to got the ER, cuz i was having really horrable chest pains. I couldn't go to sleep cuz they hurt so bad. Well come to find out........it was all caused by an ulcer! Yah, WTF!!!!!! I'm so glad that that was all it was, but still......I'm in soooooooo much pain over a friggen ULCER!!!!!! The doc said it was because of how much stress i'v been under lately. Anyway, just thought it was a bunch of bs.....so i wanted to just write down how pissed and glad i am right now. I was kinda getting scared there for a min. So now i have some meds to take care of it and help it heal. YAY!!!! :D Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well!!! Divorced For 6 Months

Gangs.....
Today we're going to talk about gangs and what I think of them. Since I have been out of town the past few days, my life has been hectic, yet moving at the speed of a turtle on a skateboard. Life in the Upper Peninsula is so laid back, sometimes I felt the need to check my pulse and hold a mirror under my nose to see if I was breathing. Heading back to Chicago today and the one thing I didn't miss while up here was the graffiti, the gang clothing and the gangsta talk. If "Eh?" after every sentence is gangsta talk, I will live up here until I grow old and fart dust. While I have never been in a gang I don't think gangs are really all that tough. Sure you see on Dateline, all about gang violence and how it is corrupting the youth of inner-city kids and even some kids in the suburbs. You might have even heard that being in a gang can almost guarantee you won't make it to see the age of 25. Yet, even with those kinds of stats I don't think gangs are really all that tough.

Watching obama and clinton argue about diplomacy is just disappointing. I am an independent but have been revolted at the bush/cheney fiefdom. which has ruined years and years of progress.(see other Bush blogs}. American Idol Goes Country
Tonight American Idol performances were country. Martina McBride was the mentor for the American Idol contestants. She's one of my favorite country music stars. I recall a few years ago when she came to the Stadium of Fire in Provo -- one of my favorite celebrations (this year Brooks & Dunn will be headlining).I loved Martina's advice about connecting with the music and the lyrics. That's so important when it comes to great performances.Here are my notes from tonight:Phil Stacey -- I would have liked to see what he would have looked like with a cowboy hat tonight. It would have matched his outfit and the country style. He really has a great voice. Needs to work a bit on his performing and showmanship, with a bit more energy.
