I am sitting here bored so I will type a while. I am opening my Different Drummer Ministry as soon as I can. As a minister, I am finding it difficult to find adequate funding. I went online and tried to get a credit card for purchases for my ministry, and I used my new Tax ID # they gave to me over the phone. Unfortunately I cannot get credit with it (instead of a social security #, I can use this tax ID # for my ministry) because I don't have an established credit file concerning this number. I have to do some thing like open a bank account to get a credit card. That means I will have to raise money to do so. I am not sure how to do this, but I am going to try to apply for a grant. I might have to need a bank account to do any thing including getting grants from the government or a faith based organization. New Update On My Daughter London
Last night I went to visit London in the hospital. Her spirits were much higher and she was hopeful again. What a blessing! Thanks to all that have been sending her positive thoughts. The surgeon spoke with her yesterday morning and she is pleased with the plans. On Tuesday of next week they will be doing another surgery on her wound. As I understand it they are going to basically do a reduction of her abdomen to give her some symmetry. Taking out tissue from her right side and pulling the tissue down to cover the wound as much as possible then they will let her heal in the hospital for a while. When she is ready they will go back and do a skin graft to close and cover what doesn't cover the wound and open area. This is the process that London was hoping they would eventually do. Thanks to all that have been a support by sending prayers and good thoughts. It started as any weekend should....I woke up. Ok so its Friday about noon. An easy orange chicken recipe using boneless chicken breasts. Replace the Cointreau or Grand Marnier with chicken broth or more orange juice, if you like. I logged on today and anyone who knows me on here know what kind of person I am. Well Fubar took my points and fubucks away from me, saying I cheated. This is from Lilli's CarePage Good Morning everyone, I am sorry I haven't updated in a few days alot has been going on. I gained all the way to 3lbs 10oz.! I ended up needing another blood transfusion and then the Dr gave me some medicine because I was swelling on my face and feet. Probably all over but mommy was concerned about what she could see. So anyway I lost some fluid weight I am actually 3lbs. 8 1/2 oz. I am eating 16 cc over 4 hours then I eat again in 6 hours. It seems to help my tummy. Through all this mommy got another call from the Dr.(she gets scared every time they call her she said) But this time it was good news!!!! It seems that my last cranial ultrasound showed that the ventricals in my brain were decreasing in size and the blood clot is also decreasing. some recent events have started me thinking again. recently i found out a dear friend of mine was, according to the doctors, about an hour from death after waiting in the ER for some pelvic pain she had been having. come to find out she had a phlopian tube that was on the verge of bursting and had already hemeraged. luckly they rushed her in for emergency operation that saved her life. then one of the women i love, yes i love more then one, found her dad this morning when she checked on him passed away from a long hard battle with cancer. in a way its relieving that has finally had gone and didnt have to suffer the pain anymore that he had for some time. i only wish that i would have had the chance to meet him. yet another friend of mine had her father pass away from mutliple battles with cancer the first of the year. i did have the oppertunity to become friends with her dad. he was a strong man and had battle cancer for some time beating it once only to have it come back

It is so funny how someone can type something and how one who reads it see it. So often these days people are more willing to see the negative side of things than any other way. My husband's aunt in in the hospital, listed in critical condition. They don't think she's going to hold out much longer. She was a contortionist in her younger years and, I gather from the stories I've been told, has lived quite a life of adventure. It's hard to picture a woman that was once so full of life laying there, so still, in that hosptial bed. Once a while I have to drop the things in my hands for a second and take a deep breath to feel the life in me. Like most of us I forgot to catch my breath when I was occupied by the business of the world. I know that for a fact. I went to my apt complex laundromat this afternoon for a wash. Ok, So Some Of You Might Think This Is Lame...
But I kinda fell backward into the job of incubating some chicken eggs. My mother has three chickens as pets in her yard and bought some fertilized eggs to incubate so she could add more chickens. Then she decided she'd just by a couple chicks and not incubate the eggs (she even thought she'd just throw out the eggs). I love animals and have raised kittens, puppies, squirrels, baby birds (handfed domestic kinds for pets), and horses. I wouldn't hear of having her throw out the eggs so I said I'd take the incubator home and see what I could do. Neither of us had incubated eggs before - I had always let the mother birds hatch the babies for me. Sooooo, I candled the eggs last night after thinking there were no good ones (one had gone VERY bad last week and had to be thrown out). I was shocked to see two eggs with chicks moving inside! There are a few others that might be good too, so I'm completely stoked about it! One of the good eggs is for a rare breed of chicken called a Bar

Those of you who know me know that I live in Kansas, and I am in the National Guard. So the whole thing about this war hits me a little personally (yes I did spend time in hell). Anyway, Today on the radio I heard a lady talking about what the student body of K-State is doing in honor of the 4,000 troops that have lost their lives for you and I. They are setting up a display of American flags. Each one will have the name, rank, and date the soldier died and be grouped together by the state they lived in. I will try to make a trip to Manhattan to take pictures so those of you that do not live here can see what these people have done for us. But i guess my point to this, is mostly for the people that bitch, complain, gripe, rant, rave or are just plain a$$holes. We went to the hospital at noon today and baby Cassidy was born at 7:51pm this evening! She weighed 5 lbs 13 oz and weighed 18" long! She's a little peanut but healthy and beautiful!! Jeremy is staying at the hospital so I could come home & ake care of the critters. Both mom & baby are doing great! We JUST found out that Caiti has the same blood clotting syndrome I have, so they may keep her longer cus she has to give herself shots for 6 weeks to prevent any blood clots so they have to teach her how to give them to herself. Crane collapses in New York City The crane is thought to have smashed into a block of flats A construction crane has collapsed on New York's Upper East Side. The fire department says it has pulled people out of the wreckage at East 91st Street and First Avenue. At least two people are reported to have died. Post Surgery Update - Home Sweet Home!
Hey everyone, yeah I'm home...been home for a couple weeks now...just gettin to the point where it's not as painful to walk around the house and sit for a couple of hours at a time. From what I have been told by my doctor, the surgery went very well and am healing better than he expected. WooHoo LOL He told me he found a 5cm fibroid on the back of my uterous, 3 lesions, and my right falopian tube was full of fluid to 3cm in diameter ...thankfully those were the only things he had to take, I got to keep my ovaries YAAA!! No daily hormone therapy for me! LOL Although the surgery went well, I was told by my mom when she came tuesday night, that earlier that morning(day after surgery)when she came to bring me back my glasses, that she came to find many nurses around my bed trying to wake me. Might Be Time to Look for a New GYM (Bi-Guys) Last Tuesday, I stopped off at the gym near my office, after work. There were only a few people there, that evening. Who I Am
I am a housewife, a mother of two beautiful kids. A son, Caden, and a daughter Emma. My husband works at the local water plant, and is gone for most of the day.
