I got called out of work at 11am this morning, as I got a phone call from the secretary at my mom's school. She told me how she was sick, her blood pressure was really high, and that if I couldn't come get her and take her to a doctor, then they were calling an ambulance or would take her themselves. I obviously left school, thank goodness I had a workshop today, and no kids, and picked her up. I took her to the hospital where they were worried she was going to have a stroke. I don't want to rehash the whole hospital experience, but she is ok. She is home and the doctor said she was fine. She has to go to at last 2 more doctors tomorrow, her primary and we're trying to find a neurologist. They want her to have an ultrasound done on her carotid artery to make sure that she is fine. Please say a prayer for her. I'm exhausted, but trying to keep positive. Why do parents have to get older??
