So I am riding my motorcycle the other day and I look in a side mirror to check for traffic. Baby Mya is doing better now, although the doctors say she may have hearing, vision, and/or learning disabilities. Competed down in Monroe, LA this past weekend and had my best meet thus far. For those that don’t know, the AAPF (Amateur American Powerlifting Federation) is a drug-free (drug-tested) federation. 8 out of my 9 lifts were good. Squatted 589.73, Benched 429.9, and Deadlifted 556.66. Totaled 1576.29lbs at a bodyweight of 163lbs. Earned an invite to the AWPC Worlds Competition this August in IL. All the numbers were personal records for me. I went into this meet relaxed which, I think, made a difference. I get some time to recoup, get a little work going and then start training again for August.

Ok,so Friday, here in Middletown, i had a spectacular wreck... i came over a hill, and saw cars in front of me, and at the bottom of the hill was an intersection. In the intersection were two cars, apparently they had wrecked.. Going 20 under the speed limit as i was i thought it would be no problem to slow down and avoid it.. i applied the brakes lightly.. and began to spin out on the ice.... slid into the oncoming traffic lane, and avoided the truck in front of me, then slid back into my land avoiding an oncoming car, then back into the other lane avoiding another car, and then back into my lane avoiding another oncoming car.. and then into the white car that was wrecked.. and whamo... beh.. turns out the car was hit by a drunk driver hit and run, which made him hit the suv.. then i came along and hit him..Wow... my cars left tire wheel is completely into the car, the hood is buckled, the back window is broken.. and when i finally was stopped it was smoking out the hood and into

My Achilles Heel Is The Monster That Lives Within.
My mirror is a special mirror. To others viewing me in my mirror they see my body as wonderful and flawless. Yet when I look, I see every tiny thing wrong with it. The monster within plays with my mind so it only see those flaws. It won't let me love my body for how it is...instead I must torture it with fastings and massive exercise sessions just to get it to perfection. Though this perfection never seems to be attainable. I keep setting that bar higher and higher. The monster is not always actively around...it sometimes let me live a somewhat normal life. Then it awakes and the internal battle starts. I always feel weaker when I know the monster is awake. It feels like there is a battle being fought inside and there is no way of stopping it or determining the winner until the end. First off, I want to say thank you to all of those that were thinking of me and my dog. So, to inform you all...I DO have my dog back. And here is how it went to get him back.... First I went through a hell of a time trying to get the gas money to be able to go get him. My Adventure At Walgreen's One Day
I just got back from my adventures at Walgreens. Know the coke aisle? Where they keep all the cold drinks and yadda? I get over there to get a coke and see that they're on the highest shelf and is as far back at the back as humanly possible. For those of you who do not know, I am 4'11. I furrowed my brow and craned my neck staring up at it. The shelf stared back, seemingly amused at my predicament. I stood there for a second more than a light came on in my head, leading me over to the next aisle to grab a backscratcher. It is four am and I am still awake. I have a clue as to why though. I can never sleep and it progressively gets worse. It must be one of these things; the television, some severe sleep disorder, the million things running through my mind constantly, or the computer(namely cherrytap). My Adventure On The Greyhound Bus (wtf?!?!)
It was 3:46 in the morning last Friday at the Greyhound bus station in Sacramento, Ca. (Originally posted on March 8, 2007)Well, over the past few days I got my altar moved into the new "ritual room."I think it's looking good.There are black curains on either side of it, blocking the view of the captain's bed (with full bookshelves) on one side and the closet on the other. It does mean the room is about the size and shape of a short but slightly wide hallway, but for a solitary practitioner, I feel it'll work out well for me.Now for the nickel tour:The complete altar setup. It is made of a bureau covered with black cloth. (The black cloth including the curtains, BTW, are flat bedsheets from Wal-Mart.)This is the left side of the altar consisting of a silver (plated) cup I found at the thrift store and a black candle in a candle holder.The middle of the altar has a burning bowl on a plate of sand. (I had the bowl directly on the cloth before, but the heat scorched the fabric a bit.) Behind it is a bowl of sand I use to hold the incense. (I mostly use musk incense, s

My All Time Favorite Scarry Movie.
My all time favorite scarry movie is "The Pit and the Pendulum" Starring Vincent Price. Man that dude was scarry. I was like 8 years old when I saw this movie. I went to the Deanza Drive-in with my Aunt and cousins. She had an old pice of shit car. We had to stop at every other gas station to let the damn thing cool down from over heating. Which added to the adventure on the way home. While at the movie you couldn't have come across a quieter group of little kids. We were scared shitless. The music and the acting were just the thing to set nightmares of that swinging blade into my sleep for months. I love being scared. I have to admit that the horror movies of today don't thrill me the same way. I look back and think how did those cheesy movies make me so picky. I think one of the best movies I've seen lately in the horror catagory is "The messengers". Just cause movies where little kids are victomized are so taboo. My Alter Ego
Who is my alter ego? As a Galactic Overlord sent back to earth to study it, I have to have an alter ego. A cover, if you will. I've chosen the role of an over the road truck driver. My Allergy Test...
Well i got stuck in the back multiple times, and after the test was done, my back itched like a mofo, and i could scratch it grrrrrrr. I had to wait fifteen minutes for the allergens to run it's course under my skin. Then the nurse came in and took down all the results of the test, and i had to wait another 20 minutes for the dr. to come in and tell me what i was allergic too. Well doc told me i got good news and i got bad news for ya. I told doc to give me the bad news first, and he said "well you are allergic to a LOT OF STUFF" and i said "the good news was?" He said "Well at least now you know what your allergic to, and we can fix you up", and i was like "wooohoooo!!!" and then in a quick voice he stated "oh one more bit of good news" and "what was that doc" i replied. My Amazing Dream
Last night I had my first dream where I could actually SEE my Grandma! I have drempt of her house and other images of her, but never truly saw her face. That is until last night. I can't really explain the dream except that I felt very warm and comforted. She was still alive and had some sort of tumor, but my family wouldn't pay to have it removed. So, I came up with the money and paid for her surgery myself. The look on her face when she awoke from the anesthesia, is one I will never forget. I got to see her smile again! It was amazing. Awesome. Fantastic! I guess I didn't realize how much I really do miss her. She never had a tumor in real, just died of a heart attack, peacefully. But, being able to give her the gift of a longer life in my dream, was the best feeling I've had in a long time - asleep, or awake. My Grandma wanted to have her ashes spread out over the ocean, like my Grandpa. She didn't want a funeral or service. We honored her wishes and had a small family gathering abo
