Mostly Positive Mixed Feelings About New Computer
Trying to copy some CDs to use on iPod; the CDs may have problems and iTunes may be misreporting them as problems writing to the external hard drive (where i chose to locate the iTunes folder. Which I'm moving, btw, for now? ...) - so I get this error that the external drive cannot be read from, written to... ow. (Finder has no such trouble, which is good... so ... I reboot... and copy everything back over from the external to the new machine's main drive (sort it out later, though soon)... and will move default app folders away from the external drive until I've done a hardware test, etc. ... but the pleasant has outweighed the negative, and included - for instance- that copying that 42gb (billion characters) of stuff of the external drive took one hour, not the 17 or so hours it took to get it on there in the first place. Yay for faster machines.

Yesterday after a deliciously prepared meal(by me of course) of butterfly pork chops, BKS says her and M are going for a ride. Gee, I've heard this before. So I kicked back and watched some TV till I was ready for bed. Still no BKS. I left the lights on and went to sleep. This morning still no BKS. I notice her toothbrush is gone. Some "ride" if you have to take a toothbrush. Anyway the pieces are starting to fit together now. Our entire marriage has been one lie after another. I know there are some hardcore fans out there who argue that it's not Alice in Chains without Lane Staley, and before this show I would have agreed with you. The fact is, not many people realize just how much of the vocals were actually done by Jerry Cantrell. Also, in the place of Lane, they have a singer that not only sounds remarkably like Lane, but he also is one hell of a guitar player. The moral of the story is that this show was probably one of the most satisfying shows that I have ever been to.

For those who KNOW me, this will be easy to understand for those that don't I will try to put explain everything a little more. Ok so a couple of years my mom lost her right lung to cancer. For the years before that she battled with Hep. C twice. For those who don't know what Hep C is. It attacks your white blood cells and weakens your immune system. We found out she had it the first time and was on what is known as a cocktail which was a serious of three shots that she gave to herself. The second time she was on some pills and the shots. Damn.... another bad dream that was cool. Seems like my worst fears reAlly shine in dreamland. You know what day it is and have time to prepare, yet everyone still panics. I wrapped myself in a holy shroud and only had a .22 to defend myself at one point, and it didn't work out very well. Most of you are aware that I had surgery last Friday...well had to go to the doctor yesterday for a couple of blood tests and stuff. Well a couple of weeks before the surgery I was having radiation treatments well....radiation tends to kill or weaken your immune system...well it has mine and now I have pneumonia...I have been doing breathing treatments and antibiotics....but just feeling miserable...so comments and ratings maybe few and far between for the next couple of days...I do apologize before hand and I will make it up to all of you guys I promise. It's been exactly 2 months to the day that I was t-boned and rolled by Mr. Speedracer guy while I was going to work. While my truck and I were lying on the opposite side of the street of which i had been driving on, alot went through my head. Just had a phone call from the hospital concerning my mother. She is extremely poorly and my father has rushed to be there by her side. I am manning the phone at home and informing members of family as to her condition and keeping them upto date with bulletins. I am fearing the worst but hoping for the best.

I think motherhood is the most awesome thing to do. I was told by my doctor that i couldn't have children. But to my surprise 21 months ago gave birth to a beautiful baby girl who I named Paige Louise Stirmey. Se in my eyes is the most beautiful little girl on the face of the planet. I would like to have more babies but i'm not to sure about it. Its amazing to see that first thing in the morning smile and the big hugs you get when they are in love me mode. The small kisses and the babbling are really cute. The Mother Of All Blogs...if Your Mom Was A Guppy
Ok, so, yeah... I know, I know. I have not written a blog in quite a while. It isn't as if I have had nothing to say. Those of you that have conversed with me know that I am quite verbose. I often have way too much to say. Many times, I think I should hire someone who's sole purpose is to sit with me, silently, until I have talked...or written...too much. At that point, this person would hold up a little flash card with the simple message of "Becca, shut up." I do think that would be extremely helpful. Maybe they should have another sign that says, "Don't you think that was a bit inappropriate, dumbass?" There has been a few times when I needed such a reminder. Hmmmmmm...maybe there should be a couple more signs for that person to hold up, too. I mean, only having two signs wouldn't even merit much of a job. How about a sign that says, "Smile after you insult someone like that so that they think you are joking." That one would be handy. Put downs go over so much better
