Looking in on you,
Before I close in,
For the night,
watching you sleep so peacefully,
trying to think of what you are dreaming.
My heart is filling with joy,
that we made it through another day.
Tomorrow, you will be older and smarter.
A mother's heart is scared,
when she has a child that is not like normal children.
However, your mother's heart is proud,
because you have not given up.
You keep fighting.
Your first day of head start,
your curls made you look so cute,
but your heart was braver
than your mommy.
Mommy’s heart was worried,
would you do well, and make friends.
Today some friends came by,
and brought you many things.
To see your face light up,
Smiling, from ear to ear.
My heart was about to bust,
because mommy's heart was filled with so much joy,
Happiness, never in my life time could I give you this much,
but the one thing I can give to,
from Mother Heart
Is my love.
Love is something that comes right from
a mother's heart.
