My Car Was Stolen

My Career As A Scientist
From time to time people have asked about my career as a scientist and where I stand on certain environmental issues like global warming. I’m going to try to write something here that is concise enough to hold interest yet informative enough to put some issues to rest. I hold a few degrees, one of them being a BS in Chemistry and most of my career I was Chief Chemist for ConocoPhillips, the energy company. I am also a Six Sigma Black Belt. Specifically, I worked at a plant that made petroleum coke, or carbon, and so my expertise is in the carbon world. Along the way I was voted Chairman of the American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM) Petroleum Analysis Committee, and was awarded the ASTM Special Recognition Award for my developing a method to analyze carbon for impurities by X-Ray spectroscopy. My Cancer
Back in 2003 almost 2004 I was Diagnosed with Intestinal stomach cancer. For the past three – four years I have been though seven surgeries’ they have removed half of my Stomach and things keep getting worst. In the past three months I had been in a comma I have been sicker then a dog and I have been in and out of the Hospital every other day. They had given me five months ago only two months to live I have beat that and I’m here still to this day. But over the weekend I was rushed to the hospital they told me that if they did not do surgery again that I could possible end up in a comma for weeks or months instead of day this time. So within the month I will be going through another painful surgery hoping that this will get better and I won’t look like I’m 200lb anymore that I will look like I did before I caught my cancer when I was 100lb.

Ok this is for all who keep asking.. I am 23 going on 24 in march,starting in october 2005 I had a tumor removed on my right thigh, the biopsied it and... well it was CANCER!! Yes, Kinda shocking huh? Well the name of my cancer is SARCOMA.. for all of who dont speak doctor language that is a cancer of your soft tissues.. As you take this all in every organ is a soft tissue. Funny huh.. Well not.. I went through 90 days of radiation.. then to the shitty part. Chemotherapy.. I went through 9 months of this lost all of my hair, was very sick, and wasnt able to do anything.. well to sum it all up I am ok now.. I am 7 months off chemo just got married, and looking forward to movin on with my life.. Thanks for reading!!! Muahhhhhh!!

My Career
so I start college on the 15th - yes 9 days and I was going to study interior and landscape design but now I'm not so sure. This past week I went white water rafting a few times and fell in love. I started on a class 3 with a guided raft went back did a duckie [[ giant infaltable kayak]] then did my own kayak [[didnt flip it :) ]] then we did a class 4/5 with an unguided raft but guided trip, he was 2 boats ahead of us plus they have this quote "if you love the job you're doing, you'll never work a day in your life" ............next summer I'm moving up there [[ I'm going to finish this semester out at the college down here then transfer ]] so any whitewater junkies out there. My Car.
So I have to get a new car. I drive a ton for work among other things. My car's transmission is dying. I cant really afford a new car. If anyone has any suggestions on good[read reliable] small cheapish makes/models please let me know. i dont really know what im looking for, and everytime i try to do something like this[take charge of a adult situation without my moms help] i get fucked over or i fuck up. On top of that, My phones crapping out and I'm going to have to get a new Cellphone as well. Figures everything would go at once. It sucks, i really love my car. Ive got a little black Ford Escort ZX2, its '02 and its got almost 93,000 miles on it. I was surprised the transmission was going already.

Ok anyone who knows me will know i have had some problems with my car thanks to the damn cops it got defected for two bald rear tyres and put through a full roadworthy. upon which many after market changes were found (um my bad) lol 1st its to low well thats fixed 100mm is the lowest allowed about 3 inches well mine had in inch clearance body to ground lol 2nd some body work thats done to 3rd i have a large sound system some holes were cut in the inner body to fit them and well lets just say they don't like that kind of thing around here so its booked in for tomorrow to have panels cut and welded to replace the ones removed most of my car is now a shell until the work is completed. new set of tyres all round and looks like a new rim also. well they got me for about 10 offenses so im pissed big time. anyway i thought this would be a good time to overhaul some of my sound system refit some things and attach some of my amps to one of my sub woofer boxes ect change is a good t

A few of you Fubarians have asked me what bands I’ve been in, so I’ll try to recount here some of the more notable bits of my not-so-illustrious “career”: In High School (in Redlands, CA) in the late 1970’s some friends and I formed a band that we called The Astral Slayride. Our line-up once included David Lowery, who was later to form the bands Camper Van Beethoven and Cracker -- both facts that he will never let me forget! We tried to play slimmed-down versions of of some of the popular tunes from that era, covers of anything from Aerosmith to ZZ-Top, but mostly drug-induced psychedelic jams that we made up as we went along. It never went beyond playing a few parties, but it was a learning experience. I was involved for a while, starting in 1978, with Jimmy James (not Jimi Hendrix), who was then manager of KCAL radio, which is still a very popular Rock radio station in southern California. My Car Is Totaled
The day after Christmas I was hit broadside on the drivers door in my car. I spun-out counter clock-wise and then slammed read-end first into a light pole across the street. I ended-up facing the opposite direction I had been going. A real double whammy, whip-lash-wise. The guy who hit me was driving a small low profile car thank The Goddess! An '04 Crossfire. My Camping Trip
So I went camping this weekend with my dad and stepbrother. My dad knows some guy from work that goes about 4 1/2 hours away to a real great place to camp and fish every spring. We went two years ago and there were 5 of us - me, dad, bro, dad's friend, and some other guy (Ray). This year there were 14 the 5 from before and 9 all new redneck boys from WV. Oh my goodness. These boys were real down-home Mayberry good ol' boys toting pistols and chewing tobacco. They are nice folks, but WOW. Anyway, I came into work today (even though I am sore head to toe) and was telling my boss about our dinner on Saturday evening when we were eating like kings beef roast, pork roast, salmon, trout, baked potatoes, corn) and his comment was "oh, healthy huh?" So I continue to tell him about how it started raining around 8:30 that evening and he said "I would have been hiking back to the car after about 1/2 hour." The hike is 2 miles with about 40 pounds of gear on your back. Here comes the jok

My Car Accident Last Thurs. Nite (the10th)
i was out doing survey damage for skywarn storm-spotters (im a chaser) last thurs. night and ended up gettiong a REALLY bad wreck. i was transported to the hospital in the ambulance on a backboard, c-collar...the whole 9 yards. they even transported me code 3 (lights and sirens), which i guess they thought it was a real emergancy which at the time i was scared shitless. all in all, i ended up with a head injury (concussion), broken ribs on both the left 7 right side, a possible cracked sternum, and a really badly banged up left knee (of coarse it had to be my good knee). they had like 7 or 8 ambulances come in around my time so it seemed what took forever to get the doc in. and then he wouldnt give me anything for the pain cuz of the head injury. which has been causing me major headaches (more and worse than usual), blurry vision, vertigo, and nausea. and now i have what the doc called "post-concussion syndrom." ive been there done this a fe w times and it aint no fun...thats for sure.

My Cancer Test
for those who care, you know im pregnant. well i went thursday for my cervical cancer testing and it came back positive for severe precancerous cells. he said there are a few areas of concern and covering a large area. i go sometime in the next month for another test at a different doctor for him to determine if he needs to do a biopsy to test for full blown cancer. as long as my baby is fine i dont care, but the biopsy can possible cause a miscarriage so im gonna refuse it. if it is cancer i'll deal with it until the baby is here. just thought id let everyone know whats going on.

My Camping Fun Adventure :)
i went camping over the weekend and it was a crazy ride . i ask my friends to come and go camping with me most of my friends said yess but my other friends was so freak out they said noo they was telling me how crazy i was for going camping but i could give a shit about what they think because they are the type of peeps that dont want to do anything new . with my friends in toe i left friday night and drove up to clarksburg where they have a great campground and we had to walk up a trail lol it was crazy it started to rain but i did not want to quit and we finally made it there it was by a beautiful lake and when the rain hit it it look so beautiful i was in a little daze by looking at it and we set up a tent i got a big tent it took a good 5 minute's to get it up but it stop raining so we wanted to build a fire i did not want to light it with a lighter i wanted to do it with the stick lol while i was doing that it took forever lol i finally did it . it was a fun moment for me because

well I just took the wedding shower cake to the shower yesterday, and the compliment was that I was better than an instructor in saginaw! she said she thought she saw a pretty cake before but mine was better..now thats what I like to hear! I took my cat Harvey to the hospital today because he had a seizure the other day..I assumed it was because of the first bath i gave him and used a flea spray on him..but it appears he has an irregular heart beat..something about one side of his heart not sounding right...They did some bloodwork today and I await the results..He is five years old - i got him a few months ago at the shelter for animals..we have become so close, i love him so much and now i'm scared i may lose him...My boyfriend Shawn spent the entire day with me...just supporting me...they kept Harvey for four hours hoping to get him to pee lol..good luck there..he wouldn't pee unless he was in his litter box..ahhh..now i have to get a urine sample from him..wish me luck on that one...I am trying to stay cheerful even though I am so scared..

So yea, I had some car trouble late last year, and ended up replacing my starter this past January. Some folks might remember me bitching about it. Well, it's happening again. My Children
My Children are my heart of hearts as they should be... I almost died back in Feb of this Year and i wouldnt have make it if it wasnt for my children. In life We parents think that we give it all to them and that we always have to take care of them. but i learned that my children was there the whole time taking care of me after surgery.. bathing me, cooking for me, cleaning for me, and even my oldest daughter shaved my legs when i couldnt move. i know that u might think thats silly but to think that she gave up so much of her time with friends, b/f, and school for me when i didnt think i had anyone still makes me cry to know how much my children really do love me and that i must be a good mother!!!! Just remember that there may come a day when we might need them to take care of us... So love them and teach them LOVE!!!!!

You never know what your life will turn out. They tell you to plan for your life while your in high school, or at least college anyway. But you go to college, then like a fool I got married, and he joined the military, and I traveled all over the world with him, and after 22 years he just threw me away. But at least I got three wonderful children out of all those years. My son, who is my hero, and has kept me going through all of this, came into this world fighting for his life. He came two months early, without lungs to breath for him, and he was to stay in the hospital for the two months, or until his original due date, but he proved them all wrong and was out of the hospital in 19 days, and has grown into a awesome young man. Like so many people that I know, I can't think of anything that I actually need. In all honesty, there isn't much that I want. My Christmas!
My Christmas! We had a great Christmas ourselves. We had it on Saturday before Christmas Eve. We wanted to do that because there is always a big hurry when we have it on Christmas Eve. My brother has to have his children back to their mothers the next morning. You know how that goes? So it is just I was a big hurry and we never just get a time to relax and enjoy each other. So this time we move it up one day so that there would be no distractions. It worked out perfectly! My mom went to get my grandmother from the nursing home Saturday afternoon and she took her to see my aunt and my first cousin's three-year-old daughter. Then she brought her to the house and let her eat. Mother had made some dumplings, sweet potatoes, and had fried chicken and other stuff. She was tearing down on all that good food. My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade
Every once in a while a band comes along and puts out an album that feels timeless. A selection of songs that takes you back to a time in your life when things were more fun. The Black Parade is that album for me. I was introduced to the band through a video on someone's profile. There was no identification of the video, I had no idea who it was. The only clue I had was a blimp floating over the band with 'The Black Parade' written on it. So I began searching, because the song was awesome. I found out who they were and immediately acquired the album. Along with the rest of their catalog. The last album that affected me this way was The Killers first album. The Black Parade is pure power, Reminiscent of Queen, pre-Steve Vai Whitesnake, and various other hard rock bands of the late 70s-early 80s. Their earlier albums are ok. But this is their best. My Chemical Romance Lets Me Down Again
Well, I know things happen but I guess i was just not meant to see MCR in concert. This was my third attempt. First attempt in Allentown, Bob had a staff infection after I drove 350 miles. Second attempt in Philly, I couldn't go after being hospitlized myself. Still have the tix. Third and final attempt in Reading, band has food poisoning . I am giving up....I am not buying another ticket to one of thier concerts unless Gerard calls me personally to invite me. It's a shame cause my whole family (kids) are into them. My 4 year old and six year old know all the words to thier songs and ask constantly to listen to TBP CD. Sadly, Kelly :(

Asleep in the bed dreaming what kids dream about, something wakes you up you start to shout. Then you see your daddy, you think he's there to hold, instead he slaps you silly says "Do what you are told." i went to the doctor today and found out i have stage 2 breast cancer,so they are going to take the lump out and hopes to it not returningback for good,breats cancer stage consits of two stages and one is were they cannot detect the spread but can detect the lump in the breast and that is were im at they detected a lump but the will hafe to run lots of test to find out were it is and if theycan get rid of it with just meds or surgery.so what i have right now is a tumor in my breast which can be remoed. m happy to find out it hadnt spraded yet and all prayers that people are sendng me i thank you so much for with out you all id be lost.god bless and ill try my bestto keep everyone informed. please dont feel sorry for me thats not what i wan just pray and let god do the work.ty,luv honielynn

My Chaotic Evening
So the evening started out alright.....We lost our electric for about 2 hours, so we sat outside to enjoy the cool air. Our neighbors came walking over and we started talking. Things were fine until we started to hear thunder and saw bad lightening. So we were getting ready to go in, until my brother came home from work. So he's sitting out there, talking to us and decides to sit on the rail, by the steps. He's swinging on it and all of a sudden he falls backwards......At first I started laughing because it was quite funny........Until I saw the blood pouring out of his head......He cracked it opened and we had to call an ambulance. He did not have a concussion, but he did need 4 stitches. The poor guy was shaking and I was a nervous wreck. I know he and I argue a lot but if I ever lost him, I would be devastated. So he went to the hospital and now he's home sleeping. The doctor said he can continue doing what he normally does, unless he decides to do some head stands. LoL..........So

the doctor told me that the cancer has not spreaded which is a good sign and im on a less stronger meds. that wont make me sleepy. so im happy bout that... i am going for surgery on july 18 to have the knot removed i will be in the hospital for alittle while as after surgrey they have to keep an eye to make sure it doesnt spread or nothing goes wrong,im really woried about that but i think it will be ok. my mom called and told me my great granny had it they did surgey and she died a coupe days later,but mom has hope for me and will be here as well as my family i will have someone keep you posted on my wellness. to all of you that has been a blessing in my life im so glad god brought you to me even though we never meet or had cross that brige i love you with all my heart. god be with me i know he is,im a fighter till the end i guess thats why i appreciate the things in life that some people dont,....i love you all...... my prayers are with all of you also..

My Christmas Cookie Fiasco
OK so this is my Christmas cookie fiasco story. This year for Christmas I am really trying to get into the Christmas spirit. I bought a tree and put it up, lights and all. This is a first. But tonight takes the cake. So my son and I decide that we are going to make Christmas (chocolate chip) cookies tonight. We have it all figured out, Christmas cookies then a viewing of the classic, Christmas Vacation. Sounds like a wonderful evening right, wrong. Well at least for now. So we run up to the local grocery store and pick up a bag of chocolate chip cookies and I read on the back which other ingredients I will need. I am lucky to have milk in the house, non less vanilla extract and brown sugar. Although I did clean out the cupboard today and noticed I had some baking soda. That would be put to use later so no need to pitch it with the rest of the junk that was collecting dust. Well it appears Christmas is upon us again... Funny... I remember Christmas's being so much different than this... Even last year; I remember it being ok... Alot of fun and feeling happy... This Christmas feels alot different... There's no joy behind it... I going to bed alone and waking up with no kids here to share the day with... My Christmas Eve wasn't one for the books either... I dunno how to describe it and yet I'm sure many know what I am talking about... I miss my kids... All of them are with the mothers'... So to me right now... Its gonna be just another day here... Don't get me wrong... My dad came up and we had a great day together... but there's just something about not having your kids with you on Christmas that brings you way down... To the point you'd do anything to see them... and wish they were there with you... Though it seems more about today has me thinking about things in my life right now... Well I was going to eat some frozen crab rangoon for my christmas dinner tonight and I guess I didn't read the box directions very well because ummmm....OMG they burned in the microwave and I had to open the doors to the house to get rid of the smell....LOL.....Crab Rangoon does not smell very good when it's burnt and on fire.....LOL So much for Christmas dinner....I guess I'll have a microwave meal or some soup....Merry Christmas!

My Christmas
Well Christmas is over and we are heading for a new year. We did Christmas in the heart this year. With Greg just getting back to work on the 18th we havent' had a full paycheck from him. The bouns I got from work as well as Gregs advance vaction pay helped getting a lot of bills paid and put plunty of food in the house. lets see here where to begin. I consider my childhood as a living hell. when I was 2 my real mother threw me off a 3 story balcony. while we were living in Germany. I ended up breaking both elbows and my left wrist. on the way to the hospital the medics had to revive me. I was forced to ride in a cardboard box on the back of my dad's moped when he took me with him to Alabama from Georgia. I was abused. physically,mentally, and sexually. My Christmas This Year.
OK so Im not around fubar that much this month, mainly because this year, Im pretty much flat broke. So buying a lot of expensive presents for family and friends just isnt happening. The Economy sucks right now, we all know this. Many peoples Christmas just isnt goin to be a lot of presents and all that. So this year I decided I would make all my gifts. I picked up how to Knit and Crochet. So far I have finished one scarf, and am now working on a baby hat and booties. Im BRAND new to doin this but so far so good. There are tons of beginner projects that can be done very easily. Yeah its not that ipod or camera that people want, but it has more effort put into it rather than goin and buying someone a gift card. There are a lot of how to videos, and even full projects on Youtube you can watch to help get you going, which has helped me a lot. So thats where I will be till christmas for the most part lol.

My oldest child is a theif. Yeah. Not sure where he gets it from. Found out yesterday he was stealing fake money from his classroom and when he got busted by the teacher, he admitted to stealing other things. In the past few months, that he admitted to, he's stolen fake money, blocks, small circles, and bears. When he got home he told me that he'd actually stolen some stuffed Dora doll from some girl on his school bus. He'd told me that some other girl on his bus had given all of those other things. Thanks to his thiefery and lying he's not allowed to do anything in the class Easter party or have recess today. He's pissed about that, but I told him he knew better, lol. Also his punishment here is that if he doesn't straighten up at school, he won't be allowed to go to the beach with his grandparents. I went and talked to a couple people today about getting deployed. I can pretty much get on any deployment i want. I just have to give them the word and i will be gone. The only thing i have to decide on is where and what type of deployment i want. If i go to the one place i havent been to yet, i will do the same thing i did the 2nd time i was in iraq.I'm still trying to decide what i wanna do.

So I have to brag on my son's intellectual skills for a second. At bath time last night (grant you, MY SON IS FIVE) he begins to examine his private area...hehee...As he's discovering his "balls" for the millionth time (it's true you men NEVER stop playing with yourselves) he asks me, "Mommy, what are these things?"
