My Best Friend Has Breast Cancer
I'm so so sad this morning. My best friend (we've known each other since Jr High in San Diego) has received a diagnosis of breast cancer. We talked yesterday on the phone for hours...she's so strong... it was ME who broke down and cried. It's hurting me so much because i can't be there for her, damnit. She is still in San Diego and I'm here in Mississippi. Nov 4th she'll go back in for surgery. It's Carinoma in situ but the margins are iffy, so they are going to take out more. I pray to GOD that he heals her. She'll have to proceed with radiation therapy after the surgery. I wish so much I could go see her! So... please... for me? I try not to ask too much. I need advice or just allow me to vent even if no one has a thing to offer me please:I just had a very intense 30-minute phone conversation with my best friend whom Ive known since I was three and he was five He has Muscular Dystrophy and is slowly dying he uses an electric wheelchair and has virtually no use of any body part on his own except his fingers He says he is accepting the fact he is dying and keeps passing it off in joking Hes been this way for a couple of years and it's hard to take Finally he admitted he is ready to go Then he told me he wanted me to one of his eulogies I havent stopped crying since he asked me to do this I said I would and Id be honored but it has to be on two conditions:He quits talking like that around me and he doesnt just say things to make me happy He actually does them He promised he would I guess I just needed to write this to get it off my mind and chest more than whether or not anyone really responds to it If youre reading this thanks

Ok, here's my story. I have and been in love with this guy that I was dating, engaged to, and then turned into friendship, except I don't get the cuddly, love, love to spend time with you kind of feeling. My Best Freind Is Dying.
That best freind would be my dog, Yoda. She has been my best freind for almost 16 years now. We have been through alot together. She's been there for me through my Ulcerative Colitis. I've been there for her through 3 cancer surgeries. It hasn't all been bad. In fact, most has been very good. She's a metal dog, I taught her to mosh as a puppy. I mean full on bodycheck. Messed with people's minds when I'd start bouncing and yell "Yoda, Mosh!!" and she'd do her level best to knock me down. When she was a puppy we lived on the californian central coast. I was a surfer and a stoner. Damn dog loved getting stoned. I had to hide my stash somewhere high and sturdy, or she'd sniff it out and eat it. I rented a longboard once and took her surfing. She loved it. Big goofy doggy grin, tail wagging so fast you almost couldn't see it. Tourists on the beach took all kinds of pictures. It was great til the dolphins joined us and the furry idiot dove off the board to chase them. She loved bubbles.

My Birthday Is Coming Up And..
I actually know what I want for once! I have NEVER been to a concert in my entire life. I want tickets to go see Breaking Benjamin. So who loves me enough to buy me some? My Big Event!
My BIG event is tomorrow night and I'm a tad stressed... I've been running around driving myself nuts testing lightshow stuff, testing audio gear, making sure we have enough extension cords, checking the music, burning CD's, doing double and triple checks of the equipment, going craaazy.... It's a risk... my risk... My partners risk... My partners and I have passed out close to 7000 flyers in the AV area for the event all while I geek out on the technical stuff. Then there's my Job... teaching.. Fiber Optics, and Structured Cabling... I tell them that I can't work for them on Thursday nights cause I have a gig to do and what do they do? They book me for Tues and Thurs nights teaching a Fiber Optics class 1.5+ hours away from home... I just got off the phone with my boss and he took a whole month to NOT fix my problem by moving the day to some other day, except Thursday. Hopefully that will be resolved by tomorrow or I may have no job, based on their screw up... Wo

If you have ever been given or seen a birthday card made by me, you know it is done fully in crayon on a regular white sheet of paper, and I try to draw something on the front of it. It still looks like a small child with limited motor skills drew the card, so I try to find the right words to carve in Crayola to make up for my clearly one sided artistic skills. My Bike Wreck
I had a racing bike wreck I am in a wheelchair now. Well May 11, 1997 at 22 years old. I had the bike wreck. I bought a racing bike on Tuesday put another front end on it and put lights and all on it. Friday I took it to the drag strip. Sunday on Mothers day I had the wreck because some one pull out in front of me in Ford Explorer and I hit the back coner for it and tolded them out and my bike at over 100 miles ahour. Their was a statetrooper right their eating and he said I was doing over 100. I was in a choma for 6 1/2 weeks. but mom said I was still in it for along time. I am very lucky to be here because I died twice. Motorcycles are real danagerous because people pull out in front of you all the time. And I can`t walk im in a wheelchair. But what put me in chair was a A autery had to be fix and they closed it off for 30 mins and when they dopened it back it had killed my legs. I didn`t break my back. Richie

My Bird Pebbles Just Died
I had Pebbles for 15 years. She was an african grey parrot. She was a baby to me. I took her everywhere. She talked and would always give me kisses. I dont know why she died. I am very sad right now. I loved her very much. I went to check on her and give her some food and water but she wouldnt drink the water and she didnt do her normal head bobbong thing she does to me when she sees me. I knew right away something was wrong. I tried to get her to drink some water and she wouldnt so I called the vet. I live on Cape Cod and there arent many vets around here adn the only emergency vet hpstpital that is here said they donthave anyone on that knows about parrots so they would try and locate a vet for me that does. In the meantime Pebbles had fallen to the bottom of the cage. I picked her up and started force feeding her water with a medicine syringe, she was drinking it but not responding well. She finally took her last breath and died in my arms. I was crying and my son was crying. My son

My dear pet, surprised Me for My birthday, she took Me to Chili's where some of our friends from our BDSM group were waiting for Me... I didn't expect it, it was really nice of her and our friends... My Birthday Present.
I'm getting really anxious. Eric ordered this beautiful ring for me for my birthday.. My birthday was yesterday. We went to the store and had it ordered Friday. It's beautiful.. But they said since they didn't have it in white gold at the store, that they would have to have it transferred from the store in Indianapolis and that since the store isn't open on the weekends, that it would be around Monday or Tuesday before it would get to the store up here. My Birthday Weekend! :(
Ok, my birthday weekend….starting on Thursday before my birthday my husband called me at work mad about some money issue that I told him I wasn’t sure about and would have to look into when I got home. Hurt my feelings because his tone was like I had took it…give me a break here. Then he called me back later to apologize because he thought we started with more then we did. Then my oldest had a home soccer game that night. My husband had to work, but met us there for awhile till he had to leave. My daughter’s team won and after the game I tried to call my husband, but he was on the phone with work. I took the kids to Sonic to get a drink (all the team was going there). I thought it would be a problem, but my husband called me back and got made that I had stopped there and wanted me to get home as quickly as possible after my order arrived. Because he was taking his lunch break and would be waiting for us at home. Once home, we argued about me stopping there and I’m not sure what else. H

My Big, Fat Chocolate Chip Cookies 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature 1/2 cup white sugar 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 2 large eggs 1 (8-ounce) block dark chocolate, coarsely chopped Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. My Bird, Happy, Has A Hernia Instead Of Being Egg-bound
Thanks to all who helped out w/the mumm. I bit the bullet and took her to the vet. Turns out, if you can believe this, that she is an over sexed bird and all the masterbation has caused a hernia. I shit you not, this is what they told me. She is gonna have surgery on March 3rd and they honestly aren't even sure if she can survive it, but it's better than doing nothing. At this point, she is having trouble breathing and going to the bathroom, so I can't just sit here and do nothing. She's my baby for goodness sakes! Good thoughts and prayers that she makes it thru this. I'm freaked out. They said the degree of her hernia is very severe and we need to do it asap. Well today is my birthday. Well it was. I had to work. That is not good. But i got money for working. Thats a plus. it goes toward my hotel room for my party. We went to Ryan's for my birthday diner. It was bomb ass. Other than the fact that the whole ryans workers sang me the happy happy birthday song. Today at work the regular guy named Ernie....had me go to the middle of the store because he had to show me something or so he said.....and he sang to me on one knee in front of the whole fucking store and sang me happy birthday at the top of his lungs....people came up to me and gave me money after that though.
