Hummmmm So what is with going into invisible mode? The whole point of an IM client is to be able to IM people on your list. So then why is it everybody gets pissy with me (ok not everybody) when I do not chat them for weeks on end because they never appear online? It was a spontaneous thing to do.. but I decided to take MsRain to the Pacific Ocean for her birthday. I just came into the house from working outside, said get a few things together we are leaving. She asked me where we were going and I told her... THE BEACH! You should have seen the look of surprise on her face, it was beautiful. She was so excited, never having seen the Ocean before. So she got some things together and we left for the coast. We went down Hwy 30 in Oregon all the way to Astoria and then headed south on Hwy 101. As we cruised down the coastal highway we came across a nice little state park to take a break at... Ecola State Park. There she got her first look at the Pacific Ocean. Ms Testing
I went to the doctor today to find out if I have MS (Multiple Sclerosis). The neurologists does'nt think that it is..thank God...however in 2002 I was in the hospital with meningitis and the reports from that stay show a B-12 deficiency ( 148 count....normal over 500 count.) So I am being tested for the deficiency again. Hopefully this is where my problems lie. I want to thank all my friends and family and fans for their support and thoughts and prayers.....This is definitly good news..I would much rather have to stick myself with a needle the rest of my life than to have to deal with MS....Thank you all and I will keep you posted on the final outcome.

So I'm at the gym the other day doing my bi's and tri's thing when I come across this hot chick. As some of my or not know my wife Carrie ( as if I have more then 1 wife ) was diagnosed with MS 2 years ago. For those of you that dont know what MS is its multiple sclerosis and the easiest way to explain it without getting all technical ( trust me I have heard enough of it ) in a nutshell the body and brain are confused and it attacks the good cells in the brain thinking they are bad cells. Like when you get a germ in you your immune system attacks it well in a case with multiple sclerosis it attacks the wrong part and causes all kinda of problems. Much More Effort Than I First Considered...
It has been a while since I have written... The reason behind it is I haven't been doing so well. This journey has been more than I could have anticipated. This has been draining Physically, Mentally and emotionally. I have had my highs with this; like back in June. I have had lows as I had in September. Through all of this, I have continued to work hard at my physio appointments. It was at home that lacked effort. I was scared: fearing both getting out of my wheelchair and staying in it. I know that sounds strange, but its true.... My fear of getting out of the chair... is ending up back in it... and not getting out is just having my dreams crushed... The trouble is I have to let go of the control. I can control what I do to get better, but the trouble with having a disease like Arthritis, it can take over at any time... I realize this now. Today was a much better day!! The boiler was fixed late yesterday so now we have heat again and hot water! My daughter feels better especially since school was cancelled due to the weather. And I did not get charged the late fee! Today was a wonderful day! *cheers*

Much Needed Getaway
I Need a Vacation. Current mood: refreshed Category: Travel and Places Yesterday I started driving and ended up here. People here like me. Which.. is always a fucking plus. Last night, Trey, Eric, and I went to Hastings and found sweet deals on these "used" cds... except most or all of them weren't even used. People just exchanged them unopened. I got a really sweet deal.. 4 cd's for under 20. Each one was like 3 dollars tops, except for this Buddy Holly, which I was so willing to pay extra for. Afterwards, we came back to my grandparent's house. Eric wanted to go back home, so's we drove him. Trey spent the night. When we finally did get to sleep, I slept well. Hardly any creepy dreams. Today, I pretty much fucked off on the computer all day. Talked to my buddy Cris for a pretty long while.. always satisfying.Ugh.. I was so stoked to write this a few minutes ago..but now I'm feeling kinda lethargic and crappy. Mid-afternoon, Marcelo and I hooked up and went to Hastings.

Much Needed Distraction.
Have you ever silently begged for a distraction, knowing no one could hear you, only to be answered in the most outrageous of ways? I was. Feeling annoyed and slightly on edge, i slowly walked back to my cubical from the team meeting. The changes made by my new boss had me less than thrilled, and i was no longer in a mood to go about my daily tasks. I'll admit, i had not dressed the part to please a supervisor that day. Hey Everyone! Well with the new meds I definitely had alot less sickeness from the chemo and that was a welcome solution. I had a couple little bouts but nothing major like the last time and the worst side effect I felt this time was exhaustion and loss of appetite. Of course Chemo comes with other side effects, like sensitivity to light, sound and touch, almost like having a migraine without the pain. Perry gave me my first shot yesterday and I was so proud of him! It was after that he got weak! LOL But we were both very nervous. I wasn't nervous in him however, just the needle stick. I told you I was a baby! He said with everything we have been through from Natural childbirth to surgery this was the scariest thing he has ever had to do with me...That is because he had to do it! LOL Fortunatley I have numbness from surgery in the area on my belly that I can give my shots so I didn't feel a thing. Although that doesn't seem to relieve me at all! LOL I am feeling mu

A Much Better Day Today!
Well, as bad as yesterday was and believe me, it was bad! Today is a much better day. I had to run and take Anthony's project to school today because I had told him I was going to pick him up at 1:00 to go to his appointment but then didn't tell him I had changed the date. So since it was my fault, I had to rush to his school before the class ended. As some of you know, my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer as I was going through radiation therapy 2.5 years ago. She's been whomping the heck out of everyone's expectations, but unfortunately this morning she told me that her doc has recommended hospice and estimated she has 3-4 months left. I've known this was coming for quite some time, but she really looks awful now. She's gone from 150 pounds down to about 80, and is wearing kids' clothes now. She can barely walk, and the amount of degradation in the last 9 days since I saw her last was astonishing. The way she looked today, I'm just hoping she has THAT long. I know I haven't been around here much the last few months since I started working again, and for a while when I do come on I expect it'll be to try for a massive distraction. Me and buddy's went to a concert this weekend, and it was freaking great! I got too see Incubus, Rise againt, and Jacks Manequin.. it's was cool. Best part of the night though was when me and my buddy Smitty were standing around just talking, and we see this mud puddle that people keep accidently walking into. A rich Kahlua glaze tops off these exceptional brownies. Ingredients 2 C. All-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. Baking powder 1/2 tsp. Salt 2/3 C. Unsalted butter 4 oz. chocolate chips 3 Eggs 1 1/2 C. Sugar 4 Tbs. Coffee liqueur 2 Tbs. Irish Crème liqueur 1 Tbs. Vodka 3/4-C. coarsely chopped walnuts (opt.) Kahlua Glaze: 1 1/4 C. powdered sugar 3 Tbs. Coffee liqueur Directions Sift flour with baking powder and salt. In small saucepan, combine butter and chocolate. Set over low heat, just until chocolate is melted. Set aside. In bowl, beat in dry ingredients, chocolate mixture, coffee liqueur, Irish crème liqueur and vodka. Fold in nuts. Pour into 13x9-inch pan and bake at 350F about 25 minutes. Cool in pan. Spread with Kahlua Glaze. Decorate with whole coffee beans, if desired. Cut into squares and serve. Makes 24

Again this one happened when I was 13/14 ish. On my way home from school was pushed into someone's front garden by 5 or so older kids. Tossed 'em 50p (all I had anyway) so I could get outta there. Best part of this story though is just before I got home I came across a couple of other kids I knew. I told 'em what just happened and one of 'em started laughing. I just flipped, grabbed his head and slammed his face into my knee three times. Felt better after that :D

Wound up going to the emergency room yesterday I just couldnt take it anymore. Very few doctors available on Saturdays around here, I hate to use the Emergency room like that but I had to. Thank god they gave me pain medicine, I'm not one for pills unless absolutely necessary but lord my ear was killing me, to the point of crying :-(. Still wish I knew how it happened, haven't been in any weird accidents, no ear infections, nothing. Woman kept asking me if someone was hitting me at home.
