Memories
Two days ago was my friend Ben's 1 year date. 1 year since passing over that is. It was also the day that I was scheduled to take my drive test. Great timing, right? Anyway, his mom called me that day and asked me for a memory that I had of him. Well there were so many that I had trouble choosing one. The one I came up with was this: It was the night of the New Year's Dance. We had a d.j. and (of course!) a disco ball. Ben had come to DA about two months before hand, so he was fairly new. However, we had been talking off and on so we knew each other somewhat. Seeing as how we were both wallflowers, we had alot of trouble even trying to get up the nerve to ask the other to dance. Finally, my friend Carly told me that she wouldn't speak to me ever again (HEAVEN FORBID!) if I didn't at least go up and talk to him. After some coercing I went up to talk to him. Panthers Are #1
So the Northern Iowa Panthers are 6-0 so far this year, and are ranked #1 in the nation in the Sporting Network FCS Football poll. Awesome. And in approximately 18.5 hours, they will be playing against Western Illinois in Macomb, IL I'll be leaving Cedar Falls around noon on the fan bus that's headed down there for the game. Should be a fun time. (and it will be nice to not have to drive) Hopefully the Panthers don't have a let-down after their exciting Homecoming win last week

Invisability
It is so hard to love someone and have them treat you as if you were invisible, to totally ignore you and not even be able to say a kind word to you when you say something to them. To have that person treat you as if you are not important to them in any way, even tho they know that you love them and wish to have just a small piece of there attention even if it is only 5 mins. He says you are important but yet he does not show it and it hurts no matter what you do or what you tell yourself his reason is.

Ok,how many of you got military time? Remember duty,you probably do if you any branch other than USAF. Well this is the 3rd weekend in a row that I got stuck with it. So everyone knows I went home last weekend to see family. I had a GREAT time with my family and friends. Its what the doctor ordered. lol... Anyways, while I was there we had a little ceremony for my grandfather who passed away 4 months ago. Which was great. Glad I was there. But ever since it seems like I'm taking his death all over again. I think about it when songs come on the radio or when I see a shirt he would have loved to wear. I assume this is normal. Update On Laci! Great News! Keep The Prayers Coming!!
When I saw Laci today it was amazing! She was so happy to see me and I loved holding her! Gosh have I missed her in the 24 hours she has been away. Thursday when the Doc examined her, she just had a tiny bit of feeling in her left leg.. outer toe. Today when he checked again.. He squeezed her little toes and she yanked away and turned and looked at him! I was so happy to see that!! She is getting some feeling back! I am to do some physical therapy exercises with her every day and continue to give her medication, and with any luck... my babygirl just may walk again. I know it will take time.. it won't happen over night. But her vet and I are hopeful that it could happen. I am very thankful she was so spunky today, just like herself.. only her back legs & bladder aren't working well but getting the feeling back is WONDERFUL news! It will take alot of hard work & patience but I will take good care of my girl. I can't wait to bring her home! I uploaded 4 new pics of our visit today,

Prayers Requested Please.....
Hi, to those that know me... I have a beautiful dachshund named Laci. She is in my default pic with me. Well Wednesday night, we were playing ball like we always do, and she just dropped and started screaming. I ran to her and found that she had no control of her back legs. I ran her to an emergency vet and got her some pain medication. The reason she went to an emergency vet is because I was in Cleveland taking care of my mom because she just had surgery. After the emergency vet administered pain medication, I drove home 2 1/2 hours at 9pm Wednesday night. All night she just laid there in the basket I made for her and whined. I am so heartbroken. Thursday morning I took her to her regular vet and she was diagnosed with a herniated disk in her back. Chances are, she will be paralyzed. She may not be able to walk on her back legs again. The doctor will be keeping her for a few days giving her steroid treatments, in hopes that they will get the swelling down and hopefully she will recove

I Went To Visit A Couple The Other Night And

It's amazing to me how some people can believe everything someone on the internet tells them. Every now and then we all hear the horror stories. But, I'm sure everyday there are others out there. I decide I'm going to go for a jog today. Yes, I know this is probably already causing an outburst of laughter. Continue b/c it gets better. I Hate Moving!!!

Why do people get mad at me for making my own decisions? Why do people act like I have been misinformed?! Friday!
This week has been hell. I don't want to see my hospital visit bill from the other day. They did blood work, an EKG and a CT scan on me. Why? Oh yeh. So, I was at work monday and I kept having these blackout.. near fainting spells. My vision got hazy.. all sorts of shit. So, Shawn took me to the ER. They said I had vertigo. Gave me medicine. Medicine made it worse. Wednesday I went to the ER again and they ran all these tests on me. Come to find out that a car accident I had a few years back apparantly did some damage to my skull and since I never went to the ER after my accident nobody knew I had any damage. Well, my skull healed itself and now I have this... inward bump I guess you could call it. When I stress, the brain swells.. enough to push up against that area of my skull causing "mini migraines" and the blackouts and such. Yeeeh... But good news is I don't need surgery, I just need to calm the fuck down sometimes. That in addition to poor blood circulation... hmmm

Update On Dad 4 Any Who Give A Rip....
Dad has lung cancer that has spread to bones and several other places (He is 61 years old)...It can't be cured, they can only treat the pain with meds and radiation then give him chemo to stop it from spreading more. We are going to need God's help so any of you who can spare a minute to say a prayer that God's will be done I would appreciate it...if you could also ask for some pain relief for my dad (Darwin) that would be appreciated as well. Ok so my ex husband just informed me that he will be bringing his whore to open school night at my sons school. I can not believe that he thinks that is by any means acceptable. I Hate This Feeling
i hate feeling like a zombie, floating with no sense. i hate being something i'm not, pretending everything is okay. i hate not being who i am, conforming to what others want me to be. i hate not knowing where i'm at, where i'm going, who i'm with. i hate this feeling of not being free, i feel confined,constricted,bound.

A Sensitive Man !
A Sensitive Man ... A woman meets a man in a bar. They talk; they connect; they end up leaving together. They get back to his place, and as he shows her around his apartment, she notices that one wall of his bedroom is completely filled with soft, sweet, cuddly teddy bears. There are three shelves in the bedroom with hundreds and hundreds of cute, cuddly teddy bears, carefully placed in rows covering the entire wall! It was obvious that he had taken quite some time to lovingly arrange them and she was immediately touched by the amount of thought the had put into organizing the display. There were small bears all along the bottom shelf, medium-sized bears covering the length of the middle shelf, and huge, enormous bears running all the way along the top shelf.
