Reliving The Glory Years...........
It is the weirdest thing in the world for a musician to listen to stuff he did years and years ago with an open mind. My former singer/bassist Steve has been sending me and playing some of our old demos and its mind blowing to say the least. I can gladly say that my guitar playing has improved over the years.My singing hasnt, but my guitar playing has. Well, part of this I guess is we both have the jones to make music again.Its been almost 5 years since we wrote and recorded our last song called "Emily June" together. Well, we have decided to re-record some of our old songs and stuff we never got around to finishing up.The funny part is between us both, we have around 500 songs that we wrote and recorded. Im sure those songs will eventually come to light in some way or another.I may have to whore them out on a Myspace music page or something. Gotta do something to get noticed nowadays since they dont allow musicians to trash clubs after drinking through our set.

Letting Go
Most know the expression “If you really love someone you set them free.” Everyone gives that statement tons of lip service but how many can walk the walk? Based on what I’ve experienced in my life I place having to make that decision among the top 5 hardest choices to make within the spectrum of human experience. To let a person you really love go, and know they may not come back to you. Not wishing them ill will but a better future and happiness. I wonder how many people could really do this? I just know it hurts. It makes me recall an ancient sand script which roughly translates to “sometimes life really sucks.”

Harder To Believe
It's hard to believe that Sarah is twenty-one months old today and Jeffrey will be five months on Sunday! I have to remind myself as a parent (you'd get the impression Martha never does, but I doubt it) that our kids are now developing their coping skills with the world around them. Update On My Back
I went to the Dr. again today, and he has ordered at least 12 weeks of treatment. At the end of treatment i will undergo more x rays and possibly an MRI. This is because he suspects a bulging or herniated disk. If this turns out to be what is going on I will have to undergo back surgery. He also feels that I may need to have a medically necessary cosmetic surgery as well, but will now more after the treatment that I am to do. So there is it...my back in a nutshell..LOL... I'm in good spirits and am feeling a little better, still having some pain and spasms, but nothin I can't handle. I will begin my treatment tomorrow, and will possibly be going 2 -3 times a week for treatment. (he feels that many times a week is necessary *eye roll*...so I guess I have to) I know that there is not other way around this, but I still don't like the idea of needing this much treatment, but I will do what I need to so that I'm in better health for myself and my son! They told me it would,so I was really hesitant about using it,but pain got too bad,so I guess I somehow had to find out,and it's amazing to know things like this at desperate times like these... Urine Test
URINE TEST (I sure would like to know who wrote this one! They deserve a HUGE pat on the back!) Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem. What I Do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who Don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their ASS, doing drugs, while I work. Some of you may not be football fans.. or watch the news. The 21 on my page is my own little way of paying tribute to Sean Taylor, Safety for the Washington Redskin, slain in his home Monday night. Today is just a day from Hell. This whole week has been. So my boyfriends Grand Mother passed away, then I recived news that one of my Brothers are in the hospital. He has a tumor the size of a soft ball in his stomach. This morning they are doing surgery to remove it. We don't know yet if it's cancer. I really hate this waiting game. The biggest thing that sucks is I live in a different state and can't be there. I'm really worried about our Mom as well,She had a stroke last year. I had a conference call with my staff manager this morning regarding what is expected from all of us on the team for the balance of the year and it is not good. We need to put in a bunch of overtime to catch up on our fund raising awareness goals for several projects that are in the hopper. How I ever got into the community involvement team at the hospital is beyond me now. It would be nice to just be a nurse now and then. Fortunately I accepted this position for only a year. So... I Am A New Uncle! :-)
At roughly 5 o'clock yesterday evening, my sister Michelle gave birth to a 6 lb. 9 oz. baby boy! He is named Hayden Sinclair Glebe They induced her early in the morning and it was an up-and-down process all day long. She can having problems with her heart rate and the baby's heart rate going up and down all day. That is why they were putting off doing a C-section. Later in the day, things began to settle down and the thought was they were going to go ahead and do the C-section. But as it turned out, she started dilating more, they gave her two epidurals and she did fine. My mom said that she was not in very much distress during the entire process until the very end which I am sure all of the ladies know only too well! My cousins boyfriend remodels houses and one day he was in the closet of a house and felt something on hes neck and swiped it off. 3 days later the same spot swole up to be a huge red bump. He went to the doctor and they cut it open to drain and discovered a brown recluse spider layed 3 egg sacks in hes neck. My Stepson
Well at 8:30 this morning I got a call from my husband saying that the school called and told him that his oldest son Kevin Jr. (who is 11) had an accident. He was riding his bike to school, when he hit a rock on the ground and ran face first into a chain link fence. So I told him to go pick up Jr. and bring him to the house. Me being a paramedic-in-training, I checked him out and he was fine. He will be staying home today. His injuries icluded some scrapes on his face by his eye and lip, as well as a possible black eye. Right now he is resting on the couch watching cartoons. I found this very funny actually because Kevin Sr. (my man) had a similar accident a few months ago where he flew off his bike and landed face first into a guard rail...which landed him in the hospital. Crazy Day
Well it finally happened, after I got home from work last night My soon to be ex started yelling and screaming at me. I did my best to keep my mouth shut, I've found that if i say things when I'm mad its hard to pull my foot out of my mouth, she ranted and raved, did a few really crazy things. So last night we finally got the game "Rockband". And it ROCKS!! We were up to 3am playing. You have to play the drums, guitar and sing. P.i.t.a And A Question (long)
SO, let's rewind until April of this year. I am coming home from working a Phillies game and it's really late at night. As I am getting close to home, there is a tree fallen in the road. I swerve into the oncoming traffic lane a little to avoid it and WHAMMO, there is a truck behind the tree and I crash into it, destroying the passenger side of my car. He was facing me, with no lights on and hidden by this tree. To try to shorten the story, he was blitzed, and had crashed solo, taking out both this tree and a ophone pole. I have no clue what his BAC was, but I do know he was given 6 charges, including the drunk driving, no seatbelt, no insurance (ANOTHER headache) and driving while suspended. Starting Over...again
Well, I started another attempt with AA again. This time I found a different group and they are awesome! My sponsor is a very caring guy and my great grand sponsor is a hillarious nut! Our group is called Dog-Tired and it's a very unique group of men of Alcoholics Anonymous. I never liked AA because I always thought of it as a group talking about their problems and "bragging" about their past, and never talking about solutions. Well, not this group! The other day my neighbour,who is a blonde,came running up my driveway jumping for joy. Being Killed By Coughing...read To Understand....
Ok, I have had this cough 2 and a half weeks now and is showing now signs of stopping. Let me give you the whole "story" about it. At the beginning of the 2 and a half weeks I started having a really horrible sore throat. At that time I contributed the coughing to the dry and sore throat that I was having. But then the sore throat went away with some meds I had from my last sore throat. But the coughing stayed. And then the sore throat came back but not as severe. So basically the sore throat then was due to the coughing. Then I started getting either allergies or a cold cause I started having a congested nose and a little bit of sneezing. Now the allergy / cold "issues" are gone but this cough is still here. The problem that I am having with it now is that it is taking a horrific toll on my stomach muscles.
