Things I Am Thankful For!!
Well I am posting this now as tomorrow, and Thanksgiving will be very busy for me. I reflect back on the following year, and I am so greatful for so many things. March brought us our move back home to Grand Ledge to be near our wonderful family, and friends. July brought a very special person dear to my heart into my life. July also brought a job change for Jeff, so he is now working close to home, but still traveling a great deal. August brought the first day of preschool for Cam, and the first day of Kindergarten for Jimmy. Summer months brought losts of trip up north the Kathy's house. September brought us a lot of stress but the outcome was good in the end. Micheal had his accident, and we are very lucky to have him with us today, and Jeff's Mom faced open heart surgery that month as well. Both are recovering very well. Fall brought my first trip away from the boys for much needed R&R. It also brought lots of preschool board meetings, and PTO meetings at Greenwo

(AP) - A naked, drunk man was arrested after he caused three accidents by running into highway traffic, police said. Two people stopped to try to help 26-year-old Ardonas Gilbert, who was running naked along the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 on Monday night, but he allegedly cursed at them and punched them, Delaware State Police said. Gilbert then ran into traffic, causing three separate accidents as motorists tried to avoid him, police said. No one was seriously injured. Gilbert, of Chester, Pa., was charged with two counts of assault and a single count of being drunk on a highway. He remained in custody Wednesday. Officials of the Court of Common Pleas in New Castle County said he did not yet have an attorney to speak for him.

I Hope I Learned My Lesson
Well, at my age you'd think I could tell the difference between when someone is trying to scam me or really cares about me. I've had a long term relationship with a man from England who was in Nigeria. Yeah, that's what I said, Nigeria. You'd think right there when people heard the word Nigeria they'd be coming out of the woodworks screaming, "NO, NO, don't give this guy a chance! He's a Nigerian Scammer!" Need I.t. Help With Yahoo

What Happened When I Went To Court Today
Okay all today was my court hearing for child support enforcement...needless to say things went just as i planned...the Judge had read my response to the complaints and petition and has ruled that a Paternity test WILL take place on November 29th....My ex will be ordered to submit herself and the child for the paternity test...if she fails to do so she will lose any and all benefits from the state of illinois including her medicaid and the case will be immediately dismissed and i will be a free to file for a uncontested divorce and i will be free to remarry!!! Boycotting Christmas
I'm absolutely NOT going out on Friday to spend money I don't have. I was talking to a woman yesterday when I went to buy smokes, and she said she bought things in the store for the kids, because they're kids and don't know any better, they want things made of plastic and contaminated with lead. She agreed with my idea of making gifts this year, though. I told her I was thinking of making chocolates. Last year I made afghans for everyone in my immediate family. I have become disillusioned by the commercial nature of the holiday. I almost thought this year that they'd canceled Thanksgiving and I hadn't gotten the memo. After all, they were playing Christmas music in the grocery store a day or two after Halloween. Now they're advertising diamonds and electronics and cars like they're going out of style. (Seen at Lincoln Center yesterday) and I feel more than a bit the picket-line-breaker, though there wasn't a physical picket line I crossed, for doing so. (There's a stagehands strike in NY City, but not one that affected Lincoln Center or the Manhattan Theater Club.) No Motivation
well, here it is 10 am and I have no motivation. There is no school today so we didn't have to wake up early. The kids woke up and played and watched tv upstairs while I just snoozed in bed. Thanksgiving Meal -- On The Cheap
Thanksgiving Day is nearly here. It'll be here in less than a week. This can be a stressful time, especially with all the work that goes into creating a lovely Thanksgiving meal. So this year I'm going to cheap out. I figure I can cut down costs if I stick with these ingredients: * Sliced turkey deli meat * Loaf of bread, thin sliced (59¢ at HEB!) * Can of cranberry "sauce" * Can of green beans * Box of instant mashed potatoes * 1 Packet of gravy mix * 1 Can of pumpkin pie filler * 1 Can of Yams or sweet potatoes See, you take two slices of bread, put some turkey slices on it (thin sliced is best so you can kind of crumple up the turkey and make it look nice). Open the can of cranberry "sauce" (it's more of a jelly to me) and slice off a round and put it on the turkey. Close up the bread and you have your main course. Since stuffing is made out of bread, you get that with your turkey, too. The green beans and yams (or sweet potatoes) can be heated up in a microwave.

Man Sized Sea Scorpion Claw Found
The immense fossilised claw of a 2.5m-long (8ft) sea scorpion has been described by European researchers. The 390-million-year-old specimen was found in a German quarry, the journal Biology Letters reports. The creature, which has been named Jaekelopterus rhenaniae, would have paddled in a river or swamp. to help some understand what i do i work on a towboat its a boat that pushes barges barges haul cargo from chemicals to grains and coal i work 28 days on 14 days off i live on this vessel for the time at work no its not a pontoon boat its a bit bigger. pleasure crafts think of this would you drive in front of a semi who is going 90 miles per hour? of course not so why would you cut in front of a boat shoving nearly 8 million tons? it cant stop on a dime. i am what they call a deckhand "for now" basically i keep up the maintenance of the boat inside and out as well as making sure the barges are wired togeather so we can shove them up and down the river. another useless fact. if you have ever seen a boat shoving barges and see some sitting really low in the water where others are high the bigger ones are empties try to keep that in mind that at least ten feet of that barge when its loaded is under the water hence dont cut in front of it it may be the last thing you do..

My paranormal group took part in an investigation of a house in eastern Kentucky. Because the house is currently occupied, I can give no further details about it. It started out boring. Well, I flew into Vegas for Thanksgiving. My sister and I find this to be a convenient place to meet for the holiday given that we both live out west. Rates are cheap. I think my rate for teh 3 nights at Ballys was $50. Of course, traveling this time of year can really suck. I escaped Colorado just before the snow hit, and still had a 30 minute delay in getting in First thing was that the place where I normally check in at the airport is gone. MGM still has theirs, but Harrahs check in has checked out. Then rental cars have moved to a central location off site on Warm Springs. I did eventually get my car though and made it over to my hotel. After a quick discussion with my sis, she headed to bed and I off to gamble. Had a great night playing 3 card poker. My biggest question is this and maybe someone can answer this. Why when guys cheat on their woman they get hand shakes and all kind of good stuff. Almost half a century I've been alive. 47 years! and I have ALWAYS been positive about the benefits of living. I have never been Negative Thru the addiction, the Death, the Divorce...I have never been negative. But lately I have watched friends who were so strong and strive for life get old N sickly and brittle. I have never been so sore before, I was a long distance runner in HS, I can't run now I'm almost 300 lbs I have bone spurs in my Heel and I get winded easily. When I was younger I had friends who died in accidents or rare illnesses, But these days they just die. But there are benefits..I get to watch new life emerge and grow up and become parents. So I guess it evens out in the end

So the 30th Birthday is just around the corner (Nov. 22nd) and I thought I would share some things that I've learned. 1. People are gonna do what they wanna do. You can't change it or prevent it. Japanese Whale & Dolphin Hunt
The Japanese have begun their annual whale hunt which will last thru April 2008. They plan to kill over 400 protected humpback whales and thousands more minke whales during this time period under the guise of scientific research which is total bullshit. Earlier this year they killed over 20,000 dolphins by rounding them up into a cove, then sending divers to stab them to death. They harpoon the whales then drag them for hours until they bleed to death. This tragedy has got to stop!!! Dolphins are the second most intelligent creature on earth besides humans and are known to protect humans from sharks by surrounding them. Whales are also wonderful, peaceful mammals with high intelligence and should not be killed for any reason. It's time for all of us to band together and BOYCOTT JAPANESE PRODUCTS until they stop killing our beloved creatures.

Scarification...
I did finally look up around noon about scarification, tattoo's are part of it. Which I have 2 tat's but lately seeing my son and his friend burning something to get it extremely hot and apply it to their flesh. Well that definitely grabbed my attention and all the pendants I have not to mention a cross the has a little knife it. I got the cross really hot and delicately applied it to my flesh, oh my God did that hurt for 13 seconds and the something was release from my brain that made me feel good. I don't think I should do it too many times though, lol, shit the Quacks would have me in the Funny Farm. Winter Fruit Glazed Turkey
1 (12-pound) whole turkey, fresh or frozen (thawed) 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 1 large orange, cut in eight wedges, seeds removed 1/4 cup red currant jelly 2 tablespoons orange marmalade 1/2 teaspoon anise seeds, ground coarse by mortar/pestle or a coffeegrinder 1. To Prepare Turkey: Remove giblets and neck from turkey; reserve for gravy. Rinse turkey with cold running water and drain well. Blot dry with paper towels. 2. 1 (12 to 15-pound) whole turkey, fresh or thawed if frozen 2 stalks celery, cut in half 1 small to medium onion, cut in quarters 1 cup rosé wine, divided use 1/2 cup unsalted butter, divided use 1/4 cup orange juice 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon seasoned salt 1/2 teaspoon ground paprika 1/4 teaspoon onion powder 1.
