Overcome And Adapt
I just want to say something about the curve ball life likes to throw sometimes. You may be delt a card that you didnt plan on and it just might put a stick in the spokes of your bicycle of life. I want to say something about my own life that I hope will inspire you when you are delt an undesireable card. I play the bass guitar with a paralyzed left hand. A stretched brachial plexus nerve from a severe car accident caused my fingers on my left hand to be paralyzed. I played bass guitar for 13 years at the time of my accident and just ordered my first 6 string bass online which came in while I was still in intensive care. Doctors told me that I may never play the bass again and that put me in a downward tailspin real fast. A friend of mine had a dream of me playing with the bass in my lap and wearing a slide on one of my fingers. I immediately went to Norman Music and picked up a slide for my pinky finger. I started teaching myself to play again and it sounded like crap.

Job Interview Today
Well I got a Job Interview at the YMCA working with 6 months and up kids, and the way it sounds from talking to they lady i might get the job. Its only parttime but atleast its sumthing. ill know today what i start and ill also be doing kids bday partys too so that should be fun so i cant wait. wish me luck!! :)

My Niece Update
My mother just called. We really won't know anything for 10 days but things are looking up. She is still on life support. Her older sister Mac thought she was dead and was drawing pictures of her that way.She is four. The nurses decided to show her that her sister Maddie was not dead. When Mac tooked Maddie's hand,she squeezed back a little. So we have had a response from her. Please keep Maddie in your thoughts and I will update when I know more. Out Of Control
Ok i guess everything went out of control and that need to stop. I got a big mouth and i can say when i did something wrong. Some can do it, some they just cant do it. But no one can judge somebody over the net. Everytime theire are 2 different side of a story and especially when somebody get hurt of it. Oh for the love of god can i not go to work anymore?! im finally off tomorrow, also on Friday WOOT bitches. How is everyone's Tuesday going? So far so good here. Back to work today after 6 days off. Tryng to ease back into the work routine. Update 11/27/07
I spent the day at the hospital with London yesterday and they did her surgery about 1pm. Things didn't go as planned as there was still too much infection in the wound to do it as they wanted. So, right now we are back to where we were in January. They are saying that they are keeping her there for a few days to get the infection under control and then they are going to do what they originally planned. London has developed stress induced diabetes and they are treating that also. My understanding is that her body has developed it because of this chronic wound. It should resolve itself once the wound is healed. I miss having her at home with me so very much. What a wonderful vibrant young lady she has become in spite of her adversities. I had my youngest with me yesterday and it was a joy to have her with me to talk and share with. What a blessing it was to be able to spend the day with her talking about her hopes and dreams. I am maintaining a positive outlook and will continue to. It

The Turn of the Century It was supposed to be better than the others, our 20th century, But it won't have time to prove it. Its years are numbered, its step unsteady, its breath short. Two Killed In Head-on Crash
Swanton, Vermont - November 26, 2007 Two people were killed in a head-on crash in Swanton Monday morning. Police say James Charron, 19, was headed east on Bushey Road when he crossed the center line and hit an oncoming pickup truck. The driver of the truck, Joseph Plante, 80, was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, Wanda Plante, 86, later died at the hospital of her injuries. Charron and his passenger were taken to the hospital. Police are investigating whether Charron was speeding. The accident happened just before 11:30 a.m. Vt. State Police in St. Albans would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the crash at 802-524-5993.

Interesting how as you grow older, you view friends differently. And maybe even more, you choose friends differently. My Mask Is Off.......but How Do I Feel About It?
I have not really had a picture of myself without it being with my Bat mask on....most times I just have a picture of the Bat up. I have had it that way for a reason. Well, I've decided to stop letting people dictate who I am and what I can do. Well Thanksgiving is finally over. It has not been without it's moments, @ 4:30am Thursday morning my Aunt passed away in her sleep. Ingredients: * 1 15 oz can dark sweet pitted cherries, drained and coarsely chopped * 1/2 cup amaretto * 1 8-oz pkg 1/3-reduced fat cream cheese, softened * 1/2 cup vegetable oil * 3 eggs * 1 tsp almond extract * 1 box Golden Butter recipe cake mix * * Syrup: * 4 tbsp butter * 1/2 cup sugar * 1/2 cup water * 1 tsp almond extract Method Combine cherries and amaretto and let sit for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large mixer bowl combine cream cheese, eggs, oil and extract; beat well with electric mixer until smooth. Add dry cake mix and beat on low speed until moistened, then beat at medium speed for 1 minute. Stir in cherries and amaretto by hand. Pour into a greased and floured 12-cup Bundt pan. Bake 50 to 70 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center of cake comes out clean. While cake is baking, prepare syrup by melting butter in a small saucepan. Add sugar and water and bring to a boil, sti

Ingredients: * 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour * 1 cup sugar * 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder * 1 tsp. ground ginger * 1 tsp. ground cinnamon * 1/2 tsp. baking soda * 1/2 tsp. ground cloves * 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted * 1/3 cup molasses * 2 eggs Powdered sugar Method Combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda, and cloves in a large mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, combine melted butter, molasses, and eggs. Add to flour mixture, stirring until combined. Do not beat (the batter will be thick).
