Taxes Suck Hard!!!
Ok, so I've been a business owner for a year and a half. Every 3 months I have to pay my taxes (or file). So, I think I'm doing well and today I get this shitty letter saying my license is going to be revoked if I dont submit the forms I sent in already. WTF???? This is bullshit!!! How many times do I have to pay the same fucking taxes??? The shittiest part is I still have to pay, regardless of the fact I a: didnt make anything that quarter and b: I have all the copies of what I sent it the 1st 2 fucking times. Goddamn shit sux. To make matters worse, my fucking computer's acting up and its all driving me insane.

SO.... Stealing my van isn't good enough for the evil kharma gods. Now I have to move. In the rest of the world that might not be a problem. Here in Calgary... Huge problem... too many people and too few homes to buy or rent or lease.I believe the vacancy rate is something like -13%. thats a minus folks which means 13% of the people live on the street cuz u know those in hotels and motels arent actually homeless. My landlady (bitch that she is) decided not to renew my lease because she'd rather have the drunk in the basement that is getting the cops bangin on his door 2-3 times a week living here instead of me, the law abiding always pay the rent on time tenant. I don't mind knowing who rated my blogs (and anonymity in general is going defunct which is debatable and I am sure debated; I tend to favor this) but CT programmers should now change the labels, I do think. This Weekend
Just FYI to everyone -- I will be offline this weekend. I'm heading to Chicago for my nephew's 6th birthday party! Should be a lot of fun, because there's nothing cooler than watching a well-behaved but enthusiastic child opening gifts! :) Here's my nephew -- isn't he cute? I'm staying with my dad who *gasp* does not have an internet connection! However will I survive... somehow. I may be able to check in from my sister's once in awhile... but only maybe. It'll probably be a pretty busy weekend! Anyway, I'll be offline from mid-afternoon Friday until Monday morning. I hope you all enjoy your weekend!

Today At Work.
I worked at a different school and will tomrrow as well. It was ok (though i prefer working at the middle schools... less annoying and messes but i go on). It's the Christian zeal from my co-workers that urks me. I don't think i want to work there any more past Monday. I may get off late at my current school (not the school i am at for the next two work days but the one i have been working at for a while) but it's nice. The bathrooms are not too messy and i get my area done pretty quickly and can read quietly by myself. I like the solitude and silence. The flickering lights are nice too they remind me of Saw (1, 2 and 3 as well as the last Halloween edition of X-play... the Saw parody episode). I think i will ask my supervisor... the overseer i mean that i would like to remain at my current school until i can get a job at a high school if i can get a day period or a closer school.

Today Is A Good Day...
Today is a good day for a rant. Shall I? Oh yes, I think I shall... Where to begin? Work. I'm a drone. I work a fast paced and very boring job, that I consider to be just a way-station until something happier comes along. I go to work, wearing my drone uniform. I keep my work station very clean, I do my job with speed and efficiency. I don't stand on the line and gossip, or say much of anything non-work-related. I don't play the flirt game, or politics. I just punch in, work hard, and punch out. Bosses love me, for the most part. Co-workers, not so much. Not all of them, mind you, but the slackers and brown-nosers hate me. I don't kiss ass. I don't work hard to impress anyone, I do it because it makes my day go fast. Kinda selfish of me, really. But I work with some really catty women, with the emotional quotient of 6th graders. Nothing Important Here
Nothing important to ramble on about... Another week of work, clients driving me nuts, and Pluto making it hard to type (he wants the attention). Some days I feel overwhelmed by things in my life. I know that the only reason they are so troubling is because I let them be such a problem. The things in my life mean nothing compared to people who have real struggles. They mean nothing compared to the pain felt by those who lost loved ones at VaTech. But I let them bother me anyway. I guess the best thing to do is just let whatever happens happen, and not worry about what tomorrow brings. I try too hard when it comes to friendships and relationships. I know they take work sometimes.. but seems like I have to work overtime. I am not gonna beg or throw myself at someone who makes me work for it. Those things work both ways, and I need to start taking and not always be the one giving. I have to leave things in the past, not worry so much about the future and live for today

My Ongoing Struggle With Depression
I saw the doctor today for this cold i've been dealing with and told her about my depression. She wrote me a prescription for an anti-depressant so hopefully that will help. She also said that she wanted to get me feeling better before she tried to help me give up the cigs. I did some shopping today while i waited for them to fill the script and bought some makeup and cds. I picked up Evanescence: Fallen, Korn: Unplugged, and Cheap Trick: The Greatest Hits. I'm not going to let this beat me! I also broke it off completely with my boyfriend and if I do date again, I'll be extremely picky.

In Need Of A Change....
I'm not sure what to think of anything or anyone lately. Why am I so easy to blow off? It's not one person in general...lately it's everyone. I find myself alone a lot. No Weddings But 1 Funeral!
It was Peters funeral today, Peter was my Grans cousin. I had to make an appearance or Jean would never have forgiven me. Jean his widow. Has pretty much, always looked down her nose at me. (Ever since I quit sunday school, when my grandad died) Peter and her were as different as chalk and cheese, he always had a smile and a joke for everyone. She has always had a face on her like a bulldog sucking on a wasp, can't ever remember her smiling, and even my dad said the wasp stung her! hello all :) hope your having a wonderful thursday!! and enjoying the nice weather we have today!! if you have the same weather. i was just wondering if anyone has noticed that when you click on home and you look in the folder where other people have looked at your homepage and you click there name to rate pics and you find that they do not want other people to rate there pics does that annoy you?? why do some people post pics but then turn around and say your not allowed to rate them.. seems kinda silly to me. just wondering if anyone else has noticed this.. and im still finding that when i start rating pics that it keeps telling me that my session has expired and its only when i first start rating pics.. is there someway of getting that problem sloved like telling babyjesus or anyone??

I walked last night for 2 miles and again tonight but ran 2 tenths of a mile near the end. It felt good to get the heart pumping. I'm even working the abs with sit-ups. My Bad Day
well today started same as always. got up, got ready for work, picked up friend from work then on way to work it all went wrong. Driving down a road the car in front of me braked to turn right so i, obviously, braked too. Unfortunately at the same time the (male) driver behind decided to take his eyes off road and crashed into back of my car pushing my car into car in front. This shook me up and my friend too. We are both now suffering possible whiplash and other small symptoms. Well i wanted a day off work but not this way...... Thankfully the guy admitted liability so i now have a courtesy car for a few days

Fungus Update
Well, it's been 4 days without a fever. He's still retaining too much water, so they're going to do a sonoagram of certain body parts to make sure there isn't something else they're missing. They've also decided to hold him in ICU for a while longer while they work it out - which ultimately means a longer stay. Otherwise he's doing okay - asking for food, and eating it; getting on the nurses nerves now and again - but on the whole he's fairing well.I, on the other hand, am feeling a little overwhelmed. With his grandparents in town, I'm getting forced to occupy them with something other than hospital time - which on the whole isn't bad. well today is just a great day ...sitting here with my 5 yr old daughter alyssa...she has been home from school....and she hates being...she loves school and is really upset cause she cant go to her 5 little monkies play (and she was gonna be the 5th monkey the pink monkey ) she was excited about and could not wait to do it..but yesterday she didnt have a good day the school nurse called me and they brought her home..cause she has one of her breathing attacks...at school and they gave her..her breathing treatments and then brought her home... i hate when she has her breathing attacks..seems like with each one she has they worse...i really wish she didnt have them at all..cause sometimes its real scarey..especailly at night when she is sleeping and has one and sometimes when she is sleeping and has one she stops breathing sometimes...and thats really scarey as hell.......wish there was something i could do to make it go away and her not have that problem anymore...cause most of the time

It's Been A Day Now. . .
It's been a day now since my mom has died. And everything just keeps falling apart. I still feel lost and I suppose I always will be. I'm not asking for anyone to feel sorry for me, I'm not looking to throw a pity party. It's just that I feel that society has lost one of it's best women. I Feel Old ....
I the Mumms today one guy asked about first loves, and another gal was talking about a glitch that said an invite was 37 years old. I have no idea where my first love is anymore, or if she is still on this planet. I was big in this site some months ago and would visit it daily and rate and promote and everything else. All with the hopes of making some real friends. Thursday's Ramblings
Almost to the weekend, and one more day of oncall...things seem better already! On call has been pretty slow though, so I can't complain. Like I said before, I like being on call. Tough Decisions
I have decided I have to go back to school. I don't want to. I've thought about it, however, and there's really no other options. If I want to ensure that I am competitive in the job market, I have to bite the bullet and do it. It's going to be hard. I don't like my field, but at my age and with a family to boot, starting over in a new field isn't an option. Since I have to work full time, returning to school means I will also have to say goodbye to the theater for a long time. So that's it in a nutshell. Remembering Virginia Tech
This has been such a horrible time of the loss of the people at Virginia Tech. Their asking people to wear maroon and orange tomorrow on 4/20/07 in rememberance of the ones who got killed. I am still in total shock and I know it has affected everyone. I only live about 30 minutes away from tech and it has been a really rough time. My heart goes out to the families during this time.

Last night, one of the best friends I have ever had decided to leave CT. I hope our friendship will continue outside the site, but I am sorry to see her go. The Hero In All Of This
I haven't written anything about Virginia Tech mainly because it's too hard right now to gather my thoughts about it. I like to have some kind of understanding of the subject matter that I write about and I don't understand this at all. Liviu Lebrescu was the college professor who barricaded himself in front of the door to allow his students to escape thru an open window. He was shot and killed but he accomplished this mission. The thing that tears me up about Mr Lebrescu is that he was also a Holocaust Survivor. What an incredible life the man had. I won't go into his life story here but it is one worth studying. And then to end up dying the way he did after all he survived and accomplished in his life is beyond words for me. I can't pay him enough tribute in a blog on a website but I had to say something. What an incredible man.

here is my thought... if someone wants to rip a picture that isnt of you are anyone you know (besides famous people) they are either going to rip or they are simply going to save it and then go upload it... so wouldnt you rather get credit for the picture when they rip or have them take your pic/icon and you not know? 21 Years Ago Today....
On April 19, 1986 my husband and I were married in Redlands, CA at the Astencia Mission. A beautiful outdoor wedding in the mission courtyard. Back then so many of our co-workers told us that it would not last because of our age differences. He is 12 years older than I. Today all those people are divorced and we are still going very strong with our marriage. I guess we surely beat the odds. I GOT A PHONE CALL FROM MY SISTER LAST NIGHT. LETTIN ME KNOW THAT THE NURSES HAVE SAID THAT MY GRANDFATHER WILL NOT MAKE IT PASS THREE DAYS. IT HAS BEEN A STRUGGLE WITH HIM.
