Drive Thru
How long should a person have to wait before and order is taken ? I went to KFC today and I smoked a whole cig while I was waiting and when I said hello all they said is "we'll be with you" so I sat there for a few more minutes and at that point i was annoyed. An Excursion Into Beer Adventuring With Cuthulu
Well appears that as far as my writing is concerned, the most interest is drawn from the beer posts, so without further ado....here's an installment of several combined weeks of beer exploration with a few rare treasures, and a few pittraps of dewm, Doom Dooom I tell you....(ah Zim I love him so...) Well I have enjoyed myself today. I did my yard sale today and made $41.00 total. My Surgery
I have to go see a heart doctor on Monday. It seems that I have a 99% blockage on the right side of my neck. So before they can clear that out I need that doc to say my heart can take it. I'm really scared, but I'm working hard to come to peace with this a just let go and let God handle it all. I love my kids and grandbabies so much. I'm taking chantix to help me quit smoking. Been Sick

I bleached my hair. It's not all even. I like it though, I like colorfull stuff. I didtn't bleach the side much because I am going to cut them off soon. Thinking About Last Night's Show
So, on last night's Dark Side, I think I probably did my best show to date. That's both good and bad. It's good insofar as I'm kicking the rust off this whole radio show thing. I'm getting my rythm back, which feels pretty good, since I was on hiatus from broadcasting for 3 or so years and the new show is run completely differently. It's bad, coz now I feel like the previous shows were totaly crap. Of course, I'm a self-critical punk, so who knows. Besides, it is just a small internet talk radio show. It's not like I put actual work into it. Oh, yeah, there is the 8-10 hours I prep for it during the previous week, but that's it. And it is a hobby, after all. Hello everyone...Just giving you a little insight to how my life works..I work at the hospital so my hours and days are always changing. Right now I either work from 8am until 4:30 pm, or from 7am until 7:30 pm..And normally after work I'm too tired to even get on here and chat..On my days off I am at home with my son..I really have no one to watch my son so I do not go anywhere he cannot go. I try to go out and do things people my age are doing but it never works..If I make plans in advance something goes wrong and fucks everything up..My life is not mine anymore every chioce I make is made with my son's best interest at heart. For some people this is hard to understand and others accept it happily. I spend my days off picking up after my child and making sure the house is clean and the both of us have clean clothes. Weekend Blues
It's Saturday. A picture perfect day here. Beautiful day to be out and about enjoying the sunshine and having some fun. It's 3:00pm and instead, I just woke up from a nap. I had plans for the weekend, but those fell through. Not a major catastrophy but just a little disappointed. So anyways, I figured my daughter and I could go out and have some fun. Maybe go into Branson, have a nice lunch and do some shopping and check out some cool fun places. Well, yesterday started out with a toothache. Luckily that went away. Spent this morning going over my bills and check book and realized I'm broke. So daughter woke up all ready to go out and had to tell her we couldn't. Gas is way to expensive just to drive anywhere. So here I am, stuck at home. Oh well, I guess that's just the way life is sometimes. I try not to let things like this get me down. Afterall, there are people out there worse off than me and with a whole lot worse problems. It just sucks sometimes though.

First off I want to say sorry for not being around much all week. This has been a very busy week for me. I had appointments and classes. Thursday was my boyfriend and mine 4th anniversary so Friday we went out to dinner and a movie. Last Nights Night Of Iniquity4
Last nights last Bay area Night of Iniquity 4 was intense and awesome. Lots of kick ass bands rocked the house and entertained us all for hours. Evelyn Rose and I were the first fetish act to perform. I Am Not Going To Die!
The accident happened just over 4 yrs ago. Jan. 3, 2003. I can still feel the impact of hitting the tree to this day. The closest that I could compare it to would be to drive your car into a steel barrier at 75 mph. I was treated for severe whiplash and hematomas, and given pain meds and muscle relaxers and told my injuries were deep, and would take time to heal, before I was sent on my way. As the months passed, I progressively got worse and worse. I attemepted many times to go to the Doctor, but the minute you spoke of a car accident, they would say, we don\'t treat car accident patients. WHAT????? What kind of a Doctor are you? I don\'t know if it is a Florida thing, or if it is common everywhere, but the only way for me to get any help, was to go to the ER, where I spent many nights. I had not been given an MRI. Falling Into Place.
Where was I? Oh yeah... So, I finally finished my lighting design on Tuesday. I got a little glimpse at the show. I'm kind of sad. It's AWFUL! The script is not too bad. I kind of like it actually. The set looks great too, and you won't hear me complain about the lights. I didn't leave that place until I had what I wanted... but the material is gravely under-rehearsed... and I think the Director might be... well... bad at directing. I won't claim to be able to do any better, but she's playing a role as well, and I suspect if she could see how she is overplaying the character... you know... form an objective point of view... she'd be really saddened by her own performance. She also has NO CLUE how to block the show. She established where the entrance and exit points would be with the set designer... a true professional mind you... and then completely violated them when she got her actors on the set. My Birthday Bash!
Yesterday was by far one of the top best days of my life. My 21st birthday. I just want to point out one thing that really gets on my nerves and it seems to be getting worse and worse...Come on people... learn when to use "You're" and when to use "Your". This is a growing problem in this country. "You're" is short for "You Are". See, the apostrophe... that makes it a "contraction". Yea, "Your" shows possession. The Big Day Has Come And Gone.....
I missed our baby so on that day and cried wishing that I was still going to be holding our baby at the end of the day. I decided on what was to be my due date that it had to be a "be nice to mommy day" so that I could effectively grieve and remember AND celebrate that my child ever was and now is in heaven. I went and treated myself to a $50 facial so that I could talk and relax. I then took my 2 earth babies out to dinner. All in all it was a good day though it was sad. I can easily say that I cried about 3-4 times all in that day. I KNOW that I will never forget the day and I am thinking that I will be making it a yearly ritual to go out and do something nice for myself on that day. Thanks to all of you that have been reading what I write here. It sometimes makes it seem a little less lonely.

I Don't Have Time For This!
Why does it always happen this way? When you've got a zillion and one things on your plate, you've got deadlines to meet, appointments to keep, blah, blah, blah...that's when you start feeling like crap! Road Trip-day 1
4-20-07 It was a 4am trip to the airport, with lots of coffee and a special friend who generously offered to make that long drive in the early morning hours. An uneventful plane change in Charlotte North Carolina, finally arriving at Greensboro, NC at 3 pm. Weird Latenight Blogging
I don't know. whatever. I woke up late today, and by the time I went to the math tutor, they had left for the day. They left early. So I went to the library and did some math. This Latest Craze
I'm not gonna win any popularity contests saying this, but I have to, anyway, because it has become a big deal to me for some reason. This latest craze in morphing every picture you see has become intolerable to me. I will admit to dabbling in it a bit myself, however, and will also admit that maybe I don't like it much because I am not good at doing it and that irritates me no end. Being an artist, I know from long experience that I want to be able to judge every aspect of the tag I'm making, frame by frame, so when I make a mistake, it will jump out at me before it becomes unfixable. I can't do that while morphing. Maybe others can, and more power to you if you do, but I do not share your talent. And maybe that'as a good thing, actually. Grief Is Healthy...
In grief, healing helps us make peace with the meaning of death, which cannot be understood except as an unknown part of life. --Alla Bozarth-Campbell It is a sad occasion when we must say goodbye to a loved one or pet who has died. But grief is the only way we can come to understand our losses, and sharing grief helps us experience it more fully. Perhaps we wish to grieve for something else we've lost, like fading youth, a job, a possession, or a habit we had come to enjoy. It's natural to feel grief over things like this, too. We can share stories and good memories with other grievers, and give free reign to our tears. Sometimes it seems the more we talk, the sadder we feel about our losses, but when we share these feelings with others, we turn our losses into gain. We heal ourselves, pay tribute to those we grieve for, and share an intimate sense of loss with someone else.
