Almost to the weekend, and one more day of oncall...things seem better already! On call has been pretty slow though, so I can't complain. Like I said before, I like being on call. I'm not thrilled with getting called out at 4am, but that doesn't happen too often, and your paid mostly to drive. Our area is rural, so lots of windshield time to the callouts.
I will be all alone this weekend. Shawnna is going to bowl in Peoria for state, and the boy is going to his mom's. She insisted he comes up there this weekend, and he's not too happy about it. I don't blame him. They don't do anything that a teenaged boy would want to do. His brother goes and hangs with his friends, and he feels like a third wheel. I might try to spring him, but she's pretty adamant about it.
I'll probably work Saturday morning. Money is money. Then I might see who's playing in the area, and try to round up some people to go out with. I haven't seen a live band in ages. I'm jonesing for it lol.
