I found out this afternoon that I have cancer. It's not bad as far as they know but i have to do a radioiodine treatment in a few weeks. It's thyroid cancer and they "think" they got it all but just in case i'm having the treatments done anyways. Please if you guys have doubts about your health get a second opnion i've been fighting a disease i didn't even have for 3 years and it was totally different make sure you explore all options before going with one opinion! Just wanted to thank everyone for the get well cards, soup, and prayers. Wanted everyone to know Ihavent forgotten everyone. Was in the hospital for a week. Was running a high fever and stomach and headache. They found that where they had taken the artery or vein for the by pass I had in my leg back in March was getting red and swelling and said I had some type of infection in my leg. They put put me in surgery to take it out ane ended up leaving a big chunk out of my leg. I'm home bound with a wound vac attached to my leg that is suppose to heal it alot sooner. I didnt have any time left from work since I used it all for the total knee replacements back in March. So pray I can return to work soon. I have no money coming in at this time. The judge was not nice and made me cry in the courtroom, because I love my pets. I told him I would find another place for them to stay, but he said I only have unti Wed Jan the 7th to be out. We now know what our daughter Sarah likes from Dairy Queen. There are four of them here in Minot – one in Dakota Square, one on North Broadway, one across from Goodwill, and one across from the Adult Learning Center. This past Saturday, at about 4:00 in the morning. Cassie Johnson passed away after being involved in a motor vehicle accident. She was heading to Wal-Mart to pick up some supples among some other personal items, when a car driven by a 2-time convicted drunk driver swerved into her lane and smaked head on into her car. The man was again drunk and is in critical condition. According to the paramedics I talked to, our Cassie probably died immediately upon impact. I hope and pray that was the case as she had seen too much pain in her young life. Even with that pain, she had this infectious way about her, you couldn't but not help liking her and in some cases loving her.
