this story was brought to my attention and i feel i must do some justice and shed some light on how a soldier feels and pay them tribute in my own little way...
as u listen to the storey that is being told u may sit and wonder how in the world can music possible have such an impact on a soldier...
simple... a soldier is taught to go into the deepest of their minds , and face the darkest of any threat ever faced... his own mortality, and those of his comrades around him/her
do not think for one minute they do not fear, they do... but yet they press on!!! unquestioning cuz that is what they r taught to do...
music helps all be able to be in touch with their inner spirit wether they realize it or not... and even now it helps MANY be albe to deal w the lingering atrosities they have had to live with...
and will ALWAYS LIVE WITH! all change inside and it is hard to ever put into words what is felt ..the pain, and constant questioning why did they live and not tier comrade in arms...
unfortunately that question will never be answered..
i come from a family who's linage has been in ww II, vietnam war and even myself when the gulf war started...
its something to always be proud of what a soldier does... and has done..
and honestly if u take the time and learn u will see that most a men and women whos heart is so careing and compassionate and greatfull for the life they still live, and will always carry that which loved as a brother or sister who DIDNT make it back home...
the simpilest of what life offers them now is more appreciated than what money will ever but a person.
for my friends who understand what i say , please know...
I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!! and it dosent ever need to be explained, it simply is.
and my prayers will always be with those who are still dealing with our "governments" beauraucy.
