No Cast's Yaaaayyyy
Well seems my hand is finally better. They took the casts off yesterday on both my hand and leg. i get to wear a knee imobilizer but its much better than having that damn straight cast on. At least now i can take a shower without having to pull on a stupid rubber leg lmao. And i can type again woohoo. Since my birthday is coming up...yes i Am actually celebrating this year i get to go out for dinner and a movie with my family. Dark Chocolate Fudge cake and mint chocolate chip ice cream. 70+ Surrender
RESCUE NEWS! We have had a rare opportunity to assist a local breeder by taking in their ferrets after their decision surrender them to a shelter. Tuesday, March 4th, we received 70 ferrets, the majority of which are in excellent condition. They are fat and healthy with their winter weight. They ALL have thick, gorgeous coats. There are 16 males and 54 females. Surprisingly, they are all socialized with other ferrets. A few of the females were scared and attempted to bite but I'm sure they will calm down quickly when the stress of the move to our shelter is forgotten. All the males were "love bugs" and gave us no trouble when we bathed them, cleaned/treated their ears, and trimmed their nails. The few ferrets that needed medical care were seen by our vet for ear mites, 2 females had vaginal infections, and one little girl that seemed very lethargic was sub-q'd and put on antibiotics. Rainbow was very generous in working with us and delivering the ferrets to us. We have had the vet over already to take in any that needed immediate surgery for wound infections (just a few ferrets), to prioritize the ferrets by whom needs their spayed and neutering first based on many factors. She also gave all the Rabies, Microchips and general exams to half of the ferrets (came to our rescue to do it) and will do the other half in the next couple of days. Today is the day. Judy has her eye surgery today. Its the second one on her eyes. I pray that this is the last one. This little girl has gone through so much in her 7 short years. Judy is an amazing little girl. She faces all her difficulties and challenges with a smile and cheerful outlook. She has exceeded everything the doctors thought. She is a "chatty cathy" when they said she would not speak, she runs when they said she would never walk, she loves and knows when you are joking with her when they said she would never be able to bond or recognize emotions. To all who read this, I ask for prayers today. Be it to God, Allah, The Goddess, a Higher Power, whom ever or what ever. That Judy is held in their arms and that they guide the surgeons hand to give Judy perfect vision after this operation. Thank You so very much.... We are off to the surgical center. Feelings!
Why is it that when you are having such a good day some people aim to ruin it. Well this happens to me all to often & now it's gone beyond a joke where i honestly don't give acrap about what people think about me. Scary Times.
Yesterday was one of the scariest times of my life! I was just sittin at home hangin out when I started feeling funny. My heart started beating really hard, my chest felt like the was 200 pounds sitting on it constantly, it became hard to breathe and when I started feeling tingles in my right arm, I went to the hospital. The hospital was packed and they didn’t have one single bed left in the place. I got checked in and they were so worried about me that they put me in front of everybody else. I finally got in the ER and they did all the xrays and blood work and then they decided to admit me for the night. I was quite scared and all I could think about was how I have been neglecting myself and I thought of what damage it would do to my kids if I checked out early. How I Got The Name "bubblewrap"

Well after our first MPH Car Show we held in December next to Winn Dixiefor our first show. We have had a couple of months off, but we are planning our next car show. We are looking for it to be held the last saturday of March. That would be March 29,2008. The only thing is that it will not be held here in the Jacksonville/Orange Park area. It will be held in Citrus County which is right outside ocala. ( so it will be a little drive for the people around here) but i promise it will be worth it.... Ok, So Some Of You Might Think This Is Lame...
But I kinda fell backward into the job of incubating some chicken eggs. My mother has three chickens as pets in her yard and bought some fertilized eggs to incubate so she could add more chickens. Then she decided she'd just by a couple chicks and not incubate the eggs (she even thought she'd just throw out the eggs). I love animals and have raised kittens, puppies, squirrels, baby birds (handfed domestic kinds for pets), and horses. I wouldn't hear of having her throw out the eggs so I said I'd take the incubator home and see what I could do. Neither of us had incubated eggs before - I had always let the mother birds hatch the babies for me. Sooooo, I candled the eggs last night after thinking there were no good ones (one had gone VERY bad last week and had to be thrown out). I was shocked to see two eggs with chicks moving inside! My family and friends expect so much from me that most of the time I try doing things for them instead of myself. The things I do are about me but as far as the choices I make have a lot to do with them. I don't like people thinking bad things about me so I tend to do what they say just to keep them happy even though I feel bad inside. Enough Is Enough
I don’t normally do it, but it was finally time to do it. I quit my job. I am not the type of person to quit a job without having something lined up, but even I have my limits. First off this was my job: Push carts of cooked fish around a floor that weigh between 250 to 300 pounds, eight hours a day. Basically I move around 250,000 pounds of fish a day. Forget the fact that any requests for assistance went virtually unheard and it started to mess my back up. Forget the fact that when I missed work due to the fact that my back was too strained to go in that the floor was run like shit. Forget the fact that upon returning everyone told me how happy they were to see me. The fact is this.... Upon confronting a fellow employee about a wise-ass drawing he did, informing him that I did not find it humorous and that it would be brought to the attention of my supervisor, he followed me to my work station from his yelling. I let that slide, informed my supervisor and went on doing my job.

Straight Up Nasty
What is up with women leaving their unwrapped napkins and tampons in public bathrooms on the floor or toilet seat. That is straight up nasty and unsanitary. It also has a funky ass smell. I mean not only have I've seen that but also there be blood drops on the seat, floor and walls. What the hell! Like they the only ones using the restroom. There are too many diseases out there and some women have caught them by sitting on the toliet seat. I feel sorry for the cleaning crew that have to come in and clean up that sh... They should be paid well. Sometimes women don't even flush the toliet leaving big ass turds with damn near a whole roll of toliet paper in there. And some others leave without washing their hands. Smoking
I was a pack a day smoker. When it got down to five or less cigarettes and I had no way to buy more, I would have a full fledged panic attack. I even had that attitude as some point that: 'hell, we're all gonna die some day, I might as well choose how.' Up to the point where I was laying in the hospital with multiple Pulmonary Embolisms (blood clots) in both lungs. I looked over at my 4 and 6(at the time) year old kids and realized that I had the wrong idea. All it would take is one of those things to move to my heart or brain and I would be dead. No warnings. My kids would be without a mom. For that matter, without anyone since I am all they have. I was in pain every day, breathing was so difficult to do. I spent 3 days in the hospital getting daily shots of blood thinners. I even had to give them to myself when I got out of the hospital. Once I was home I still had a hard time breathing, and so little energy. It hurt so much they had me on narcotics to get through

This Saturday after work I went with Martha to see a one-actor drama at Minot State University called “21A”. It’s named for a bus route in Minneapolis and set on the bus where the actor played eight different characters, each with their perspective on fifteen minutes waiting for the bus driver. Martha is not an especially big fan of plays, but I suggested a few days before that it would be great to go, and she had fun in spite of herself! Nightmare And Fear Of Loss
I had a dream, no...more like a nightmare...that has given indication of someone close to me taking her life... I have had dreams come true before. But I fear this one more then any other. Sleep, I Miss You..
It's 2pm here in Fla and I just awoke from another wonderful 3hrs of sleep! I think the sarcasm is obvious...I work the overnight shift(11pm-7am) and have been doing so, for the last 2yrs at my current job. Initially everything was fine, I got at least 6hrs a day of sleep and never had a problem with wkend adjustments. But something has just gone absolutely insanely wrong the last 3mnths. I'm barely able to keep my schedule and I can't even remember the joys of a 6hr rest session, let alone anything longer. I can't explain it, but it's really starting to affect me. I'm nodding off on the job, and I operate machinery, so that's not going to work. I'm constantly 'stuck' in neutral because my body never gets a chance to fully rest/re-energize. I've even tried to take sleeping pills(Tylenol PMs ), yet here I am 3hrs later; AWAKE. I really don't have any stress in my life that would be a trigger for this, so I'm just left dumb-founded and tired. Well, I'm off to try again...
