SO. My divorce will be over with in august, and my lease to my apt. in sept, which brings me to a question..why the hell should i stay in fayetteville, NC? Saturday Night Fun

Friday night the matriarch of a family that means the world to me passed away suddenly and I have been trying to think of a way to comfort them in their time of mourning. Just Some Thoughts
Isn't it funny how someone can walk into your life and there is such a connection that it feels like they have always been there, by your side and in your heart? A friendship, that no matter the distance between you, strongly holds to hearts as close as can be. I had this kind of friendship before and it was cruelly taken away by fate. Never did I think that it was possible to share that connection with another person, but now I have that again with not one but two people, the man I am to marry and also my best friend. They both mean the world to me and I can't imagine ever being without them.

Mister Softee
When I was a kid living in New York there was an Ice Cream truck that came around called Mister Softee. Yeah :) Well, my mother didn't like ice cream trucks. She thought they were dangerous for kids. Making Friends

Ok here's the situation. My sister has Mesothelioma and it is in her lung going into her spine. She came across this while haveing arm trouble. She couldnt use it. Well here is the weird part I had trouble with my right arm yrs ago. And where she has the cancer is where I had a epidoral to kill the nerves in my spine cause i couldnt take the pain. Do you think that its just dumb luck that we both had simmular problems and even in the same area of the spine ???? I am kind of afraid to be checked. But cancer does run in my family !

We convince ourselves that life will be better after we get married, have a baby, then another. Then we are frustrated that the kids aren't old enough and we'll be more content when they are. After that, we're frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with. We will certainly be happy when they are out of that stage. We tell ourselves that our life will be complete when our spouse gets his or her act together, when we get a nicer car, when we are able to go on a nice vacation or when we retire. The truth is there's no better time to be happy than right now. If not now, when? Your life will always be filled with challenges.It's best to admit this to yourself and decide to be happy anyway. My Mom
I just found out that my mom has to have surgery this week on Wednesday for a tumor in her neck. We dont know if it cancer or not. She was afraid of telling me because she didnt know want me to worry. I finally got it out of her It is a three hour surgery and it is outpatient. So she doesnt want me to drive 7 hours to come and see her. I will find out next monday if it is cancer. I am hoping that it is not because I dont want her to have to go through what I did. I have had cancer twice and I dont want her to go through it either. This is my mom and she was upset after knowing that I had it. Any ways I just wanted to get this out and say that I am thinking of my family right now. I am working the day she is going in and i will be calling her the day after the surgery. She has a 50/50 chance of having the nerves cut in her right side of her face and I am scared for my mom.

Let me start this by saying that I am a huge fan of the book, 'Bringing Down the House' by Ben Mezrich. I strongly recommend that book for anyone who has been curious about card counting. And in this case, the book version which is closer to the truth than the movie, I think is actually a better story. I didn't think the Lawrence Fishburne character added much to story. If they really wanted to make this into the cat and mouse story they could have, that would have been better if they really wanted to go down that path. Overall, I think it would make a decent rental of HBO movie, but if you are really interested in this topic, check out the book and breaking vegas shows on cable (I think A&E or the History Channel), much better coverage of the topic.

Maggie Progress/condition
Today is Sunday March 30th, and I have seen Maggie changing now. She developed a cough. The vet said the cancer is in her lungs, but I didnt know what to expect and when. Well, its starting out as a small cough. I rub her throat and say prayers to ease it for her. Her appitite is real good yet, and she plays as if nothing is wrong yet, so I will just watch her and love her and spoil her as she has always been. The Worst Thing..
I saw the worst thing one night. I was driving back from The White Rooster on Lincoln Ave. There were two coyotes.. the male was looking at his mate.. she had been hit by a car.. and I almost hit him.. Road Trip Part Deux 2008
It's almost time for another road trip, last year I left out on my bike and before I knew it was about 1,300 miles away in Des Moines, Iowa. Why Des Moines, I don't know just seemed like a destination. Getting Evicted!
Checq this shit out. On Sat. Jan. 12th, Woke up early in the morning ta find my bathroom flooded. Semptic line plugged, bacq'd up! I called landlord, told her. She told me she would have someone come out, pump the tank & clean the line. She also ranted about bringing a bacq-hoe to put in a NEW LINE. So in my city there has been an eruption of news stories for the past few weeks about malpractice in 5 different medical facilities. Apparently the head of these southern Nevada endoscopy centers has ordered staff to re-use needles and viles. There have been many cases of hepatitis and HIV reported following the investigation. At least one class action civil lawsuit has been filed thus far for second degree murder for a patient who died in 2006 due to a hepatitis exposure as a result of this neglegence however most people can't prove in court that their diseases were a direct result of this scandal. I moved here recently and am not affected by the outbreak but it seems like we as a community ought to grab a pitchfork and a torch and go to the mothref*cker's house who's responsible, drag him into the street, and publicly execute him. Nobody seems to feel this way, at least nothing has been done as far as vigilanteism goes. What the f*ck!!!??

Fun Day
I was invited by my friend to go watch the local version of the Polar Plunge. I figured watching a bunch of people jumping into the lake and freezing their asses off sounded like a lot of fun, Man was I right. There were several Hundred people who showed up to watch about 80 plungers. At first I remembered why I hate being short. All I could see were people standing in front of me. One nice tall person let me get in front of him...he is awesome! finally I was able to see what everyone else could and I got some great photos(on here in my pics). There were a few boats that showed up to watch as well. One boat had to be bailed out using beer buckets. Everyone was giving them a hard time..it was too funny. I found it absolutely amazing that after seeing the person in front of you come out of the water, freezing, people could still jump. I was freezing and fully clothed, winter coat and all. My Thing For Guys With Shaved Heads
So, Im in my manic phase again, as you can see from the blog prior to this one. For those of you who are like "What the hell is a manic phase" kttn? Well, my friend was in a car accident with her bf one evening...to no fault of theirs some dipshit ran a red. He's been in critical condition for over a week, punctured lung, fractured ribs, two broken legs...he's lucky he is still here. - It’s a hard row to plow in the DCU as Buddy and Una are assaulted by Beast Men everywhere they go. Another Loss...
My Tia rosie passed away just a few days ago and Im not sure how to take it. My mood is weird....I feel kind of numb, I cant really cry for her.
