Memorial Day - Rip Larry Parks Jr.
So now here I sit knowing that next month is going to be one of the hardest ever. Memorial Day is on Monday and I want to tell everyone I meet to remember those lost and carry on their memories, but secretly I want to stay in my bed under the covers not believing that He is one of the ones we have to remember. I have just received word that Robert Lynn Asprin, author of Myth Adventures, and co-author of Thieves World and other books, former SCA member, Yang the Nauseating, founder of the Great Dark Horde, passed away suddenly yesterday morning. My friend El had a favorite anecdote regarding Robert Asprin. In the early days of the SCA, El needed to speak to Robert regarding some matter which eludes me at the moment, called Detroit directory assistance, had a brain freeze and asked for the number for Yang the Nauseating. The operator, naturally thinking this was misheard, repeated the name questioningly. Another operator overheard, and exclained, "Did you just say Yang the Nauseating? I know him! here is the number"

Life...barely. An Update.
I suppose everyone wants to know what the hell is going on. Everyone that I actually talk to regularly anyway. (And maybe some others in particular.) I don't want a lot of shouts or further discussion about any of this really. Time to close this door and look forward but I know there's a lot of confusion out there and I don't want to leave anyone hanging either. So, Chris and I were perfect. Things were great. Ya'll knew this. I couldn't have been happier. Chris knew A LOT of things about my personal life that I haven't necessarily shared here much. HOMICIDAL HUSBAND, some drug abuse years ago...NOT ANYMORE IN THE SLIGHTEST LET'S NOT GO THERE, and the biggest...I am and have been semi active in the adult industry. Aluminum Foil.......who Knew?
I've been using aluminum foil for more years than I care to remember. Great stuff, but sometimes it can be a pain? Like when you are in the middle of doing something and you try to pull some foil out, and the roll comes out of the box. Well, I would like to share this with you. Yesterday I went to throw out an empty Reynolds foil box and for some reason I turned it and looked at the end of the box. And written on the end it said, "Press here to lock end." Right there on the end of the box is a tab to lock the roll in place. How long has this little locking tab been there? I then looked at a generic brand of aluminum foil and it had one, too. I then looked at a box of Saran wrap and it had one, too! I can't count the number of times the Saran warp roll has jumped out when I was trying to cover something up. I'm sharing this with my friends that did not know this. I hope I'm not the only person that didn't know.

I actually have been living more in Philadelphia where I go to school than in Tucson for the last few years. But I was born and raised here, mostly on a cattle ranch. I am, however, no cowgirl. Music and your love life I guess everybody has had a few songs that would bring about memories of how things used to be. Yesterday one of my friends call to tell me they had 2 months left to live that he was dieing of cancer. What a wake up call. What am I doing with my life? I have finally cleaned out everything at mom and dads storage and out of the basement. All my past memories that were bad were burned in a huge fire and at that moment i found out the best news ever. What A Month

I have never read any of the Manga but I watch or record DeathNote on Adult Swim after Bleach on Cartoon Network. It isn't my favorite show that they have had on but it is still pretty good. INGREDIENTS: Cake: Nonstick vegetable cooking spray 1 package (18.25-ounce) classic yellow cake mix 1 cup Malibu® Rum 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1 package (3.4-ounce) vanilla instant pudding and pie filling mix 4 eggs Rum Glaze: 1 cup (packed) golden brown sugar 1/4 cup water 1 stick butter 1/4 cup Malibu® Rum PREPARATION: Cake Preparation: Position rack in center of oven and preheat to 325 degrees F. Yesterday, I got a phone call from my doctor's office about my blood work that was done. I was at Walmart when I found out that I was pregnant. Glue Starfish Craft/Necklace This pebbly-textured starfish is easily made from white glue sprinkled with sand or glitter. It is fun to wear, display, or hang in a window. Supplies: * White glue * A toothpick or small stick * Waxed paper * Sand or glitter * 1 paper clip * Yarn Working on a piece of waxed paper, carefully squeeze some white glue in the shape of a starfish. If you need to adjust the shape of the starfish a bit, use a toothpick. Fold a paper clip into a "V" shape. Put the ends of a paper clip into the glue at the end of one arm of the starfish. Sprinkle the glue lightly with sand (or glitter). Gently shake off the excess sand (or glitter). Let it dry completely (this takes at least overnight - sometimes longer). Just A Note
I dont know if anyone has noticed that I have not been on here much lately. Well its been a wild ride this past few months. first of all I had it out with hubby Easter weekend. he found out about a lot of things i was doing. Although he wasnt inocent in all this either. So we talked things out and decided to give it another go around, you know 20 years is a long time not to at least say i done all i could do. Well, soon after that I had another attack with my fibromylgia. I have been bed ridden for 6 weeks now. not been able to work or anything. School's Out For Summer....
Yesterday was Kindergarten graduation and today was Awards ceremony for the older 2nd through 5th grade. Dani graduated from Kindergarten yesterday, making the Principal's List for straight A's throughout the school year and Hayleigh ended the year making the Honor Roll. I'm very proud of both my girls. They both worked very hard during the school year. And ever since the state of AR implemented the Iowa Tests and Benchmark Tests, they have twice as much homework during the school year. But our school isn't ranked 4th in the state for nothing. Now if I could get my littlest rugrat in school....I'd have a clean house again...lol. But...he is going to preschool at our church beginning this Fall. We have a few plans for summer. Next week involves going to Jackson Hole, WY and on to Yellowstone National Park. Then at the end of June we head to TX for tubing on the river. The girls will take some dance worshops (ballet, jazz, clogging, gymnastics) and even Ethan will take a gymn

What Is Gained?
So what's the point of it all? Why does OUR MAKER allow us to suffer pain, illness, loss? The answers to these questions will probably never be revealed to us in this life. But when we take stock of our experiences, the good and the bad, we find that the dark times have left us with more than just unpleasant memories. Perhaps we have gained new insights into our own personalities, found strength and depth we never knew we had. And what do we do with these emotional gains? We may go or to lead richer, more enlightened lives. We may also seek to comfort those who hurt as we have hurt, thus heeding CREATOR'S call to look after our fellow humans. Is this perhaps why HE has permitted suffering in our lives? We can't answer that question. But our lack of sure knowledge should not stop us from trying to act as HIS tools for good here on earth.

Religious Persecution
First off let me say that I was raised in the christian chuch. I know the laws of the bible, and can quote scripture like a baptist preacher at a tent revival. One of my biggest pet peeves with the Christian "Organized" Religion is the to the extreme practice of hypocracy. Although the bible tells them to "Love thy neighbor as you would love thyself", it seems the "good" christian thing to do is to look down their noses at ANYONE that doesn't believe the same as they do. This would include other christian religious sects as Mormons, Apostolic, and Jehova Witnesses. The absurdity of this action is astouding. If there truly is "ONE GOD" the way that christians belive, and they are all "his children" why does this happen? Basing all on the premise that they are all of one flock, then shouldn't they be "good christians" and extend their hand to their brothers? My Dedication Ritual
Many of you know that I performed my dedication ritual Monday night/Tuesday morning. This is a ritual where I dedicate myself to the Wiccan path and ask the Goddess and God to lead my way. This is a very personal ritual, so I will not being going into too much detail. Many things that were done, felt, sensed, seen are between my Goddess, God, and I. My First Love
Recently my sister passed on. It came as a sudden shock to all of us. I have not really processed yet and each day that goes by I realize how much she influenced my life. She will always remain one of my greatest gifts in life. I wish u all had a chance to know her. She embodied the best charcteristics all of us aspire to achieve. More than anything though, she taught me the meaning of love. Ill forever be in her debt for this gift. It was never anything she conciously tried to achieve, it was just her gift. Though i will miss her greatly, I find it hard to stay in grief. She had such a positive influence on my life, and taught me that any situation we could find humor and laughter. Re-cap Of The Weekend, In Case You Wanted To Know...
Well, this weekend was a blast!!! We got into Dothan Friday night around 11pm. I went to see my little sister first. She had no clue I was comming so with the help of her husband, I was able to sneak up on her and scare the shit out of her. She was so happy to see, and I her, that we had tears. The boys were already asleep so I went to mom's and dad's to sleep. My dad of course was already in the bed, so I peaked in and turned on the lights. It took him a second but he looked up and smiled and said "what the hell are you doing here" It was so funny. He called me from his work Saturday and told me he thought he had dreamed it when he got up. So Saturday morning got here....I get to see my babies!! They have grown so much.
