I Didn't Know He Was Missing
I recently had a friend find Jesus in his life. Before then, he was in a band, drank LOTS of beer, and was a regular type of guy. He found Jesus, because his wife smoked lots of pot, drank way too much, and cheated on him a few times. So she turned to Christ to change her life around, and dragged him along. She told him that if he wouldn't do this for her, then he must have thought that their marriage wasn't worth saving. So they find Jesus. After six months, she's there, but not as into it, and he's full bore Christian by then. He got rid of all his Albums from the 60's...yes, original, incredible, and now destroyed. He got rid of his Mustang he was rebuilding for the last 5 years, and now recently, he's getting rid of his non Christian friends. He did this in waves, the first bunch when he just turned. I think the hardest thing that we face is being a parent and making the right decisions for our children...And remembering that we are the adults... I consider myself to be a good parent for the most part...I haven't always been though...Years of selfish behavior and dragging my kids along for the ride....But..after my youngest was born...something inside of me changed...I guess I finally got my priorities straight and made them my main focus in life... For My Friends
I wanted to take a minute to say thank you to all my friends I have made on here. Last night I was overwhelmed with all the love you showed me and leveled me. I chatted with a few to tell you what was going on but I felt the need to share with the rest so you did not think I was not appreciative of your actions. Back in March my dad passed away at the age of 68 and on that last day I was there with him and my mom and brother for 8 horrible hours watching him die and it was possibly the hardest thing I have ever experienced in my life. My uncle has been in the hospital for the past year fighting cancer and sunday my mom asked me to take her to see him, she did not want to go by herself, when we got there and I walked in that room I relived the horror of watching my dad all over again. It had the same reaction on my mom which is heartbreaking to see. My parents were married for 49 years and together for 53. I got word yesterday that my uncle died and to be honest it was

My Soldier Comes Home
It all started innocently enough. Tim had just been deployed to Iraq. He needed that person to talk to back home and to keep is mind straight. Finally demobilization is complete and I'm back home! Now back to the job that I love and picking up on all the ways that my daughter has changed in the year I've been gone. They sure do grow a lot from 1 to 2! I also need to catch up on what's been happening on TV and everything else. Lots of things can change when you're gone. It's almost exciting to go out and discover it. Well that's all I've got for now. I'm probably going to go catch up on some drinking.

The Assignation Of Quinton
Ok so I’m not going to kill him but I was really thinking about it this morning. Quinton is our newest addition to our family. He’s a wire haired terrier that I saved from the PH pound. He’s a cute little guy still a pup really with lots of energy. Well I spent most of last night keeping him off of my bed & out from under my feet. Well my favorite leather sandals were on the table to keep them save and this morning I found them chewed to itty bitty pieces with just the wooden soles left. It was almost back to the pound for that puppy. Now I just have to find a pair of sandals that go with my dress for Alabama. Wish me luck I have to find them by Thursday before I leave that evening.

Well we just got the bomb dropped from the Beloved Rick Wagner. General Motors is closing the Plant here in Moraine Ohio as well as three other plants. The mood is very dark and sober here at Moraine Assembly as 2000 of us know that we are going to lose our jobs. This decision made by the GM Board of Trusties will put thousands and thousands of people out of work as it will shutdown part suppliers and truckers and various other industries. GM was one of the last big employers here in Dayton and will most likely leave this already depressed town severely crippled. My heart and prayers go out to everyone effected by GM's decision and their families. My God guild us all in this dark hour.

An Update
Well I spent 6 hrs in the ER yesterday morning...Was x-rayed, cat scanned and poked with needles all to find out I have yet ANOTHER infection wooooohoooooo lucky me! NOT!....Sooooooooo needless to say Im one tired, annoyed and sick Juniper....Im on antibiotics, pain killers and nausea meds....I hope to be feeling better soon and back on here...Really miss ya guys! A couple of months, I decided to stay off FUBAR whenever I was at work, because of a new "Big Brother" spy software that they had installed on our computers. Apparently it gives them the ability to "see" my computer screen at any time, so I was obviously quite worried about getting caught surfing or looking at some cutie's pics. Update On Heidi
First off I want to thank everyone.I usually dont get much blog attention but the prayers and best wishes have been overwhelming. Thanks to those concerned enough to ask for updates as well. The doctors say she really isnt much better, much of the same but improved enough to be taken of IV and gets to come home today!!! :) I guess they feel( as I do) that her spirit and mood at home will help her to improve faster.At least thats what I'm hoping. They said her was the most severe case of this disease they have ever witnessed and after doing some research into the severity of this illness, thats a scary thought. She will have to be on steroid therapy and a special diet for at minimum 4 months. I've become more accustomed to the fact i may not have her for very long but at least she will be at home around people she loves and that love her. Im cautiously optimistic. Its 5:30 Am...cant Sleep
Its early in the morning. i cant sleep. Sitting up trying to figure out what and why things happen the way that they do. Twice in my life it has been this way. Once was before i slept in my car with my ex wife for 3 months. Because I said "things couldn't get any worse". Boy was I wrong. It was bad for a long time. And it took My oldest being made to turn everything around. Then Jonathan came along. Another apple of my eye. Things got bad. We survived everything. Got happy again. Then finally 2 years ago. in my bed with no power. I looked at Crystal and that moment in time was the most content that I had ever been. Then 2 months later I'm moving to North Carolina. June 3
I am on my way to Jordan with new found friends from Bethlehem as part of this seminar. It is an adventure of a lifetime I think! We will visit Petra, the site of a 1st Century Monastery, and Bethabara (Bethany or in present day Arabic, Al-Maghtas) which is believed to be the site of Jesus' baptism. This will be a stretch for me in a way, I have scheduled morning trips to take pictures and visit places and evenings to attend meetings. This trip is a total of at least 6 hours and involves two checkpoints and one border crossing. I am interviewing two people on the trip, one a professor, the other a sociology graduate, from the University of Bethlehem. We are going to discuss the economic and employment situation in the West Bank. Then after 6 hours in 110 degree heat, I will come back to the hotel, probably exhausted, and sleep. Because my Arabic is not sufficient, it is a lot of work to have 6 hours in a mixture of Arabic and English lol.

May 28 Part 2
The Old City, or East Jerusalem, is incredible! It is a polyglot blend of cultures, religions and ethnicities. The Church of the Holy Sepulcher is an excellent example with several different denominations: Greek Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Armenian Christian, Coptic in one mammoth building! But as always, that’s getting ahead of myself. I arrive at the Imperial Hotel around noon. Walking down the narrow cobbled path I must look pretty silly, lurching over the stones as I drag/tote my four bags. They feel somehow very heavy, not unlike my eyelids. I sign in at the front desk where I learn it will cost me $45 to spend the night. Not long after my arrival and a lunch consisting of olive pizza and tea, I settle in for a two hour nap. I was sitting here, typing this email and wondering what you would think of this experience. I am once again in the minority religion, my Hebrew draws a few smiles and corrections and it is interesting to see the Jewish men congregate at the back of the plane to pray as the sun goes down. A couple people don't understand as the Jewish men block entrance to the restroom, even as I try to explain, one waves me off saying, "It's just a waste of time to me." We are so arrogant sometimes! and it grrrs me. I wish you could see this with me. This morning I went to the Church of the Nativity and to the Milk Grotto. I left my camera home because I didn’t think it was a good thing to take pictures around worship. I will return tomorrow, early in the morning for pictures. The worship service I attend is right next to the actual Church of the Nativity (in St. Catherine’s) at 11 am and they are celebrating several First Communions. It is a spectacle of activity, people coming and going, cameras going off, kids getting antsy, but it was amazing as I was with about 1200 people. The gothic Church of the Nativity seems to be getting a face-lift of sorts with some of the frescos being “brightened.” Gina knows one of the children taking communion so she tries to catch them after the service and I have several minutes to study the columns that support the massive structure. Gunfire has filled the evening air as the time is 8 pm. Something tells me my plans are about to change lol. About 20 rounds have gone off so far and I have the feeling that tomorrow will be very tense here in Bethlehem. I have a meeting tomorrow, rescheduled from today and then I am hoping to be on to Jerusalem again. I am sitting here watching CNN to see if the news reaches home. It’s been totally quiet for the last 20 minutes so whatever was going on seems to have abated. Plans have been so goofed-up this second week! The schedule is going out the window I suspect. well everythings ok now, even though they still dont know what caused him to have the stroke. spent all day down at the hospital he took some last tests and stuff and they let him go home today, and he seems fine today. but still wont be going to Maiden cuz well the venue is like 3 hrs away so we dont really have the time to get up there, thats ok though im just glad hes ok, maiden will tour again anyways.

First Of Three Procedures

Hello all, Just thought I wold keep you all posted on whats been going on lately. I had a friend take me downtown to apply for a public defender. Found out that when they state that if you cannot afford an attorney one will be appointed for you, well, thats not entirely accurate, one will be provided for $265.00 processing/public attorney fee...so, got 60 days to pay that somehow, but, at least the paper work is being processed anyways and an attorney is supposed to contact me in a few days to discuss the case and see what we can come up with. Still no court date in the mail yet, but, they did state it can take 4-6 weeks, so, guess just keep checking the mail and see when it comes in it comes in. Never heard anything back from the plastic surgeon on the last CT scan/visit, being he was stuck in surgery not sure if he has caught up with his appt list as of yet or reviewed it yet. I will admit my vision is getting a lot better, and although it hurts, I do have a lot more sensation

The past few months have been a nightmare for me. Well, here it is, 3 weeks since she said that she was leaving, and I am in the same spot I was in 3 weeks ago. Lost, confused, and feeling so alone.
