Ok i have noticed way to many poeple refering to animated images on this site as animated video clips.. when infact they are totally wrong. The clips most people call video clips on here, or that they post within their folders of pics are actually refered to as. Animated Gif's. A gif is a small image made specifically for the internet, and used in cases where many images are presented on one page. JPG images can also be used, but they are usually larger in size and have many more colors then a GIF. a Gif is one form of many image file types, one of the most common. However the images people call videos are not videos. they are animated gifs, and the tag on the image if you happen to download it will end in .gif. The way a animated gif works is simple. you create a slideshow of sorts. one image at a time. PHOTOS!!! These are actually from Friday night @ the Superstar DJ Keoki show. I stole them from the event page. When Is It Ok?

Toffee Oatmeal Cookies
Toffee Oatmeal Cookies 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature 3/4 cup granulated sugar 3/4 cup brown sugar 1 large egg 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract 1 1/2 cups oatmeal 1 cup dried cherries 1 cup bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped 1 cup toffee pieces Heat oven to 350 degrees. Sift together flour and baking soda and set aside. Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy, 2 to 3 minutes. Add egg, and mix on high speed. Add vanilla extract. Add flour mixture a bit at a time until well combined. Add oatmeal, cherries, chocolate, and toffee pieces. Divide dough into three equal portions, and roll into logs using plastic wrap, approximately 1 1/2 inches in diameter. To bake, cut logs into 3/4 inch pieces. Bake on parchment-lined baking sheet until golden brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven, and transfer to a baking rack to cool. The News As Of Recently
so i moved home from college successfully. my shit is divided into clothes and stuff i need, and stuff that can be saved until august when i move back. my clothes are all OVER my floor. i have no room for them either. oh well. the worst part is, i need to do laundry and all the laundry baskets are holding my clothes from college :( i finally turned 19. it was like a 3 day thing too. thursday night we went to the uptown to see the new indiana jones movie which kicked ass! then friday my parents took me and my best friend rachel out to dinner at maggiano's in friendship heights. saturday, rachel, alison and precious came over and we went to the mall and steve tried to come to see me but he got lost and his car broke down in DC. i got to see him sunday :D i am lookin for a job still. not much luck. right now i am tryin to find a job, helpin around the house and tryin to have some time for me. i love summer :D

Grandchildren
Grandchildren are wonderful. I remember when my daughter was born, my father used to spoil her and then when my son was born, oh God, who let up the flood gates. Trying to be a parent with grandparents coming behind them saying, it's okay. Like Bill Cosby said, that is not the man that I grew up with. If you ever get a chance watch Bill Cosby Himself. Anyway, so now I am a grandfather, and my grandson was the commander of the weekend. We went to the beach, on the ferry, to the zoo, etc. Now I am the grandparent, and like all other, I love my grandchild and tend to spoil him, but thats okay because my daughter is trying to figure out who this man is that looks like her father. I can't think of anything I would rather be doing than spending time with him and he is only 3. Just wait til he is growing more. Now I think I'll take a nap.

Lies And Deceit.
Well, This is not to whine but I don't understand some people. Why would you tell a girl that she is yours and establish a relationship. Then ask her to move in with you. Then tell the people who actually see her she is your girl, but tell your female "friends" you have online that she is only your roommate? Even after you have told her you love her. Now, you were already having sex so nothing else "needed" to happen. What do you get out of this? Spirit of the times I looked into a snow globe. wound the turn key and gave it a shake. It's melody a glass armonica; Erie like a crying theremin. The water and glitter whirled around and I saw my world change. My thought's and reality emulsified and poured into my spirit. the broken ballerina kept her poise. With the warm up that the forecast area will likely see for the Memorial Day weekend and into the early part of next week as the trough over the region departs, the setup for some or widespread severe weather becomes established. HIGH pressure responsible for the warm surge that lasts until Tuesday, slides off the coast and allows for southerly flow to invade the region. That combined with the approach of a cold front from the west pressing eastward against the warm air brought by the southerly flow, the area between the cold front and HIGH pressure off the east coast, becomes favorable to at least a few severe T-storms as cooler air behind the cold front colides with warmer air pumped northward as a courtesy of HIGH pressure in the form of southerly flow. Look for the most part, I like other people on here find some of the comments made by mummers to be really funny. Also when I post a mumm I expect the same treatment and find them to be funny as hell too. My Life
Well things are going ok i guess not to sure what else to really say. I got a great man in my life who knows that i love him and he says he loves me to but it seems that the last couple of days he has been very distant from me and i am not sure if its cause of things going on or what. He knows i am here for him and got his back no matter what but at the same time he should know he can talk to me about anything. But dealing with sick twins as well isnt so good. Being up and down all nite with them and there fevers and snottt noses and trying to get them better has me not happy cause i am so tired and want to sleep lol. But other than that things are going good we got our place and the kids so what else can i ask for, just wanted to jot down some of my thoughts.

My grandfather is in the ICU and probably won't make it out of the hospital alive, he has prostate, lyphnode, and lyrnx cancer, my grandmother has mouth cancer, and my boyfriend is moving to Michigan. Cheapened
Has anyone else noticed that the site has been recruiting a lot of 'fubar family' pridiles lately? They give these users green lettering in their name to specify that the person is (supposed to be) someone who lives and breathes fubar and helps out the site. I've checked out a number of them and most have no referrals, are low level newbs, and usually don't even have a salute. That's fine and all I guess but what really get's me is that once I start talking to these supposed fubar family people, more than a few turn out to be working for webcam sites and just want to invite me to register for some cheese ball cam site. Healing, Day 2
bruises are ugly. I am not very good at the whole "lay down and rest" thing. there is too much to be done. the house is not packed yet and I need to do some grocery shopping. I need to still find a dress for a black tie wedding (which I now need a dress with sleeves thanks to ugly bruises) and I need a pedicure. The worst part in all of it is I am bored. so very very bored. I thank the doctor for pain killers or else I think all I would do is lay around and cry. today doesn't hold much excitement. I keep trying to clean the house but I can't exactly move very freely so it makes it difficult. I managed to get up the stairs (yeah..pain) and take a shower and wash my hair. I guess I will try to find something to eat and figure out the afternoon.

Memorial Day
I went to the graveyard today with my old man to put a flag on my grandpa's grave for Memorial Day. He was a WW2 vet and very proud of it, I can't imagine what that must have been like. The thing that really upset me was that there were a lot less flags out on graves than there were last year. People might be forgetting and that makes me mad beyond words. At last I'm back in the US. I'm just in the process of completing paperwork, and listening to people talk who have nothing important to say and will waist my time for a week. I havent been online pretty much at all this whole entire weekend. Which is so not normal for me, i love the internet, its pretty much how i keep in touch wiht my friends and families, ,minus the occasional cell phone call. Anyways my grandma called me on friday and told me they found cancer in her hip bones, hence why her bones in her hip keep deteriating, this last hip replacement made number 3 in the area they found her cancer. Which is really sad i lost my grandpa her husband to cancer back in 2002. Then Saturday i get a call from my cousin saying her mom had commited suicide, way to go. Which this happens to be really sad because her grandma passed away from diabetis not even a month ago. So its been really rough. Im just confused, scared and lost all at the same time.

hey all~! I know it has been a while since I wrote a blog but I have been a busy bee around here. Besides I really don't think anyone reads it these days. (besides my closest friends) I am finished with chemo thank the Lord! My surgery is Wed, May 28. After a quick outpatient surgery I will go though about 5 weeks of radiation and then be done with this whole cancer thing..........except for check ups. No more blood draws, needle sticks, and pills~!!!!! Plus my hair will start growing back again. It is slowly coming back now. Hopefully by the end of summer I will have enough to take a pic and share with you all. As I have said before...chemo sucks~! But all this is almost over.......... I can't wait to have my energy back so I can sit at the computer and chat with my friends again.....I miss you all~! I hope you all have a safe and happy Memorial day. How Do I Do It?
It takes a little work, and a lot of luck. First of all, you may request that I screen capture something, but if it has the scroll across the top, I make no promises. The ones I do unsolicited (for those of you in Rio Linda that means, you didn't ask for them) I first must see you scrolling across the top. When I click on it, more times than not, when your page opens, you are still scrolling on top. I use an old photo editing software, LView Pro 1.D2/32-bit for Microsoft Windows 95, Windows NT 3.5 or Newer, Windows 3.1 with Win32's 1.30 or newer. Sure there are newer ones that are probably better, but for what I do, it's simple and does the job. With this program, under the "Edit" pulldown menu, there is an option called "Capture" where I can sample the entire desktop, or whatever window is on top. When I click it, there is a few second delay, so I put my mouse over the scrolling pic across the top to make it open. It captures the window of your main page with you scro

My Thoughts
I have alot of great friends who have helped me out through alot of problems. I think that it wasn't for certain friends that I have made online. I have a great fiance. He and I have been through so much in the past year and 5 months that we have been together. First miscarrying our first child in Oct 2007. Than having to move out of our apt in November 2007. Moving into a shared living situation(something out of the real world), living there for two months. Than finding our current apt which we have been in for about 5 months.

Time to get on the soap box. I have read many messages on FUBAR this week about honoring those who serve/have served. It involves showing them love on here, putting together a magazine to send out to Soldiers, etc.. These acts, while noble serve little purpose. My Lucky Daughter
I'm gonna do a little bragging about my 18 year old daughter, Miranda. If you ever watch Craig Ferguson and the Late Late Show on CBS, since May 8 Miranda has been featured on the show. School officials have told them that if they continue hearing rumors of these kids being the target of gangs, that they, themselves, will be classified as a gang. They are not a gang. The Oregon Coast...
I hadn't been there since I was a kid. I was about ten years old when my mom took me to this wonderous place full of desolate beaches to roam and discover. Highs And Lows
the sick feeling inside isn't just from the realization i have 5 days to come up w/ $1600. not something i think i can pull off this time. if i do, it'll be a miracle. can't give up yet, but looks like i might have to. every bit of progress will have been for nothing. not that i've made that much progress for other things. i'm really just kidding myself when i think i've gotten farther. deep down i know i haven't. i've been strong for a while, but starting to break. but it wouldn't be the same so i can't break now. it wouldn't only add to what i'm already feeling. the highs i have are only a momentary thing. just something to mask the lows i'm really feeling. and no amount of flatery or whatever else from others will or does help. it's not a "drunken" state of mind. it's quite clear. clarity seems to spin things like a tornado. someone always ends up hurt.

My thoughts, feelings, and emotions are so up in the air right now. I found out something today, that in someway drastically effects my life, but at the same time, kinda doesn't. Prep Time:15 min Start to Finish:55 min Makes:8 servings 1 pound lean ground beef 1 jar (14.5 ounces) sloppy joe sauce 3 1/2 cups Original Bisquick® mix 2/3 cup milk 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened 2 eggs 1. Heat oven to 350°F. Generously spray 12-cup Bavarian-style bundt cake pan with cooking spray. Cook beef in 10-inch skillet over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown; drain. Should Have Followed My Advice
I should have only been coming on doing my rates and comments although feeling better I must have still been running a fever because its back high again.
