After 2 years in Iraq I thought that coming back to the states was what I really wanted. Now I'm not so sure. Over there we all could count on one another and we all took care of one another. We all understood what we were going through inside because we were all there.
Here, I feel like I'm all alone most of the time. Like people don't understand. I hear all these people talking about what they think is going on and making judgments about something they know nothing about because the news media is lieing to them about it. How can they judge something without having all the facts? Without knowing more than just a bunch of fairy tales made up by the Politicians and the rest.
Well, for all of you that don't support the troops; that sit here whining about fuel prices and the rising cost of living and all this other day to day crap; why don't you volunteer to trade places with some of our sons, daughter, fathers, mothers, uncles, aunts, uncles and cousins that over there wondering if they're going to make it through he next hour dealing with 163 degree heat while wearing Kevlar Body Armor and wearing long sleeve shirts carrying 150 lb. ruck sacks, driving through sand storms with people that are trying to kill them with any and ever means available to them. Try that on for size for 15 months and then see if you still think you have anything to complain about.
