one thought..
and i lost it all
a simple action
a dangerous attempt
gambling with a life
gambling with a gift
a scared mind
a tourmented heart
a shattered soul
all from the start
healing is slow
recovery hard
mending whats left...
of all destruction
takes so much attention
strength and will
weak to the bones
opened scars
and bleeding wounds
all so much....all too soon!
such disaster leads to terrible things
a life is ruined
a life is dying!
yet...never ending!
that is true torture
to live among lives...
and feel nothing but empty..
all of the time
to know you are dying
and cant help
to know you are weak
but that youll still stand
to know you are broken
but can be put back together.
to know all within you is done
but you...cant help but go on.
its living agony
its a living hell!
to live life on one string
when that string holds everything!
its your last line of hope
your last protection from temptation
yet it is cut
and all has fallen!!
life is done...
you are no more
yet happy at last
peace has comfort!!
finally no more...
no more pretending
no more reliving
no more pain and sorrow
just peace in mind
and soul
knowing that
in the life that was hell
you still lived..
you still laughed...
but most of all
you loved....
now life has ended
and serenity takes its place
knowing that love is what saved you
love is lifes grace!!!
