I Dont Understand Men

Well, I guess I should put something in here to let everyone know what it is I am about. I am an honorably discharged Marine, single dad to two great kids, and a metal fabricator in a hot rod shop. War Injuries
Some people have been asking what happened to me in the war, so I wanted to list it all here. * I tore my left knee dragging a wounded Marine to safety under fire, so I cant run anymore, and it hurts to walk or stand for too long. * I had washout from night vision goggles on a night operation that is causing to to slowly lose my sight and maybe go blind in time. * I have PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) like most combat vets, I cant sleep at night or interact in a public setting very well, I cant live a normal life now that I suffer from this. its nothing anyone should have to live with. * I have Gulf War Syndrome, witch is like agent orange to Vietnam vets. its from chemical exposure and depleted uranium rounds, It has caused me the most physical pain of all, It has caused nerve damage that makes it feel like I am on fire from the inside out. it make random stabbing pains over my body and causes respiratory and heard degeneration. * I also have damage to the me

New Baby
bad dream, weird dream, good dream, that just about covers the dream i had. i had to relive my brother dying again, for some reason after almost 2 yrs, im no better than when it first happened. in my dream i got pregnant, and what was strange was, that baby moved a lot while it was inside me. More than most babies do. As i expected, it was a boy. I named him after my brother. That baby grew a lot faster than most, and understood a lot more than most. Strangely, i dont know who the father is and i didnt even know what color hair the baby had lol.

Keeping It Real...100%
I'm just wondering...why post a blog if no one can read it? I've posted 5 blogs already, and my profile is viewable by everyone. I see no point in hiding behind my computer. What I say, I mean, and I will be willing to back up 100%. As my friend ~LUCKY~ has said many times to me, I keep things 100% at all times. No lies, no back-stabbing, and I'm not gonna hold my tongue if someone is offensive or bothering me. Anybody real out there anymore...? No bullshit, no drama...where are the real people...? People claim they want it, but can't stand having their hands called when they are flat-out lying. So what's up with all that...? I don't understand. Theme Music
I was watching Indiana Jones today and I considered how integral the theme music is to the story. I'm a fan I'm not ashamed to admit and as soon as that little bit of music kicks off and you know that means Indy is about to do something incredibly cool and daring, I feel that adrenaline rush and feel like I'm there swashbuckling alongside him, willing and capable of accomplishing anything. James Bond instills exactly the same emotions in me. It occurs to me that these feelings wouldn't be half so powerful without the music. I then consider that if this story was real - if Indiana was actually out there doing these things - then he probably couldn't hear that music. It makes me think he must be a greater man than I just to keep on saving the day without hearing a soundtrack. Strangely an earlier supposition about the speculation of the end of my Fubar experience, is seemingly manifest now. I have started to not have any comments, or friend requests anymore. I don't really get that much activity anymore here. It's happening. I have hit my Fubar peak, and I'm on my way down now. I'm even going to cut the fat out of my friends list. Thirteen years ago today my grandmother passed away. It wasn't a suprise and it was actually a relief. Well as much as a relief as it could be for a 10 year old. In the fall of 1994 Grandma was diagnoised with a stroke. She hadn't been acting... right for a little while and had some migraines. That Thanksgiving we traveled down to NC to visit from NJ. A couple months later she was REdiagnoised with MS. Even though none of her symptoms really fit that... she was treated at Duke University Hospital. 3 Weeks And 3 Days
That's how long I've been a Momma. :) Anyways... life is good for the most part. I'm definately going a bit stir crazy.. since its been over a month since I've been able to come and go as I please. My dad and brother are planning on coming out next month. Just got off the phone with dad and HOPEFULLY they'll give me some more exact dates soon. Why I Don't Want To Be A Superhero
because getting hit by a car is painful. so... yesterday afternoon. walking out of target in visalia we realized we (me, sissy and her boys) were actually parked in the next lane over. so as we were helping the boys over the dividing flowers, the little one took off running. right out in front of a truck. by the time I reached him all I could do was wrap myself around him and get hit. Then there was some screaming some ambulances and a night in the ER going through x-rays and CT scans and blood work and all that stuff. Little One is ok. He has a hurt foot but nothing broken and I hear this morning he is up and playing the best he can. That kid is tough. I seemed to have lucked out as well. The doctor was sure I had a broken rib or two but apparently I am just very bruised and banged up. I hurt very very bad, and my whole body is in need of pain relief. I even managed to avoid a concussion but my head sure hurts like one. Thanks you for everyone who called to check on me. news

Seneca Rocks In Beautiful West Virginia
It has been about 14 years since I last climbed the Seneca Rocks in beautiful West Virginia about 22 miles west of Petersburg. Saturday, May 24, 2008 I spent the day there with my youngest daughter and her 10 month old baby and we climbed right up to the top. Because of the baby I was limited to only one peak of the beautiful rocks but if you look at the pictures it is breathtaking. Anyone want to go back with me to climb the other peaks?

Sometimes I wonder just how cynical and suspicious the world has gotten. for those who may know and for those who don't...2 fridays ago my dad was put in the hospital for almost 2 weeks and he had to have 2 surgeries one on his heart to get more blood flow in it and stuff...he had 1 out of 5 main arteries working before the surgery but now he has 4 of the 5 & he also had his gall bladder taken out cause he had gall stones!

I don't know what it is about me, but somehow people get the wrong idea about me, quite often. I was scared s***less It happened so fast... but they seem to be ok Sis and I had Frog and Little One with us. We had just bought Frog a new bike from the Target in Visalia and were walking to the car when we realized we were in the wrong lane of parking. I was helping Frog roll the bike over the row of bushes separating the parking lanes and Sis was manuvering Little One through when he decided to start running. Week One Is Done!!!
Well now!!! Week one is over - and how did it fare? I don't know, I'm still recovering. This is boot camp, and something they don't let on until you get here. The truck left at 5pm on Sunday, and returned at 2am on Saturday, with dedicated Toyota parts going from Portland Maine, other [arts from Penn, Vt.',ec. My trainer and I put on well over 6000 miles this week - I tallied it and I drove close to 4000 of them. We had exactly 2 hours of down time, the schedules are that close. I am still grinding the gears a bit, but not bad. There is definitely a science to it, and once you put it all together, it works well...but you don't learn it overnight. There is a lot these folks need to know, and the old breed of mother trucker is dying out for a reason. The first night I drove until 3 am ( I was beginning to have actual hallucinations ) aand spent a rough night in the back, not used to the bouncing around. i want to say sorry to eveyone for not being here much and that i really feel bad for not showing love back. Yesterday was my oldest brothers 65th birthday. A milestone in ones life, a day that we should have a birthday party where everyone dresses in black, and laughs and calls you old. My brother didn't get that chance. Instead, he got a phone call to go to Grant Medical Center. His son was in an accident. He had died upon arrival. Shes Dieing
i visited with my grandma today!she and i dont see each other much but shes prettymuch me at 80 or so. literally(noone in my family knows her real age its a family mystery.she and i are alot alike i think. shes outspoken,short, handy,and she can be a bitch and she dont take shit from knowone. she told me today that shes dieing she knows it and she doesnt want anyone to be sad or anything when she dies she just wants us to go out to eat or something. shes nuts i love it. im going back to hang out on tuesday and shes going to teach me to make all her recipes for pies and stuff hahah. and shes got cancer in both lungs and stills smokes a pack a day she saysshe cant quit. crazy dont ya think?

When The The Army And Hospital Dont Agree With Your Religion Though They Say They Do
Ok I have a awesome friend of mine and myself, we have the same religion. It doesnt invold hurting ourselves, others, nor animals. But it is something that the military said they they agree with. I took him his book today and the hosptial gave it back to me saying they he cant have it because they dont agree with it. I got mad and said thta it is his religion and mine. You cant take that away from him. That is his right to believe what he wants to believe. I think they should have just let him have his book and everything would have been fine. But they took that away from him. I am mad and so is he. He wants out that hospital and they wont let him leave. I am mad about that also. Hello and happy Saturday everyone. I just had an Epiphany and I must share. When I was around 20, (mom can verify this) I was severely burned on my head in an accident during my employment at a local fast food place. I remember at the hospital them telling me that nightmares were common and I had to sigh a disclosure for the pain meds they were about to inject into my head. (the area of the burn) ok so I was discharged and sent home. At the time I was roommate with a stranger, so I was dropped off at my apartment and I escorted myself happily straight to my bed. I virtually died that night. I was taken off a cliff of Hwy 299 and into the valley. In the valley of the shadow of death I saw everything. I was the most intense western you could imagine. Well, my old profile was hacked. Went to sign on earlier this afternoon and found out it had been deleted. It sucks. I was a Fu-King(level 24) and my cherry rank was like 50 or something. Not only that, I had just been bought 3 or 4 blasts and a VIP just a few days ago. So all of them are out of money because some ass decided to delete my account. Now I have to start all over again. Update On Job Interview
Well, well, well - I applied for a few positions at a local hospital in the Intensive Care Department and I am thrilled to report to you all that I have accepted the position. It was one of two jobs I wanted desperately - and by goodness I got one of the two. I will be working 3 12hr shifts with 3 days off and it may include every other weekend - but have already been informed it may not be that frequent. I am excited and nervous but I'll swing it - I always do. I can't wait to start. I go on Tuesday to complete my new hire process paperwork, paperwork, and paperwork - insurance plans and coverages. Pizza Meatballs 2 pounds ground beef 2 cups seasoned bread crumbs 1 cup milk 1/4 cup dried minced onion 2 tsp. garlic salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 block ( 8 ounces ) mozzarella cheese 1/3 cup all purpose flour 1/4 cup cooking oil 2 jars (28 ounces each) pizza sauce In a bowl, combine the first six ingredients just until mixed. Shape into 48 small meatballs. Cut mozzarella into 48 cubes, 1/2 inch inch. Push a cube into the center of each meatball, covering the cheese completely with meat. Roll lightly in flour. In a large skillet, cook meathballs in oil until browned. Drain. Add pizza sauce and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes or until meatballs are no longer pink. Serve over rice. (You might be able to use cheese cubes that you can buy already cubed to make these too. They are usually like cheddar and Monterey Jack. (Or with Jalapeno cheese could be called surprise meatballs!)

Where Did Things Go Wrong
All I ever wanted was place for people to hang out and have fun.I had it but now I have lost it because of drama.I sit and look at what I created and think about the family that was made there. New Beginning
Wow where do i start. As you all know i have been trying to find my son for a while now. 2 days ago I got a letter in the mail from Ohio stating that they have custody of my son. Apparently the My Ex and her husband were taking nude photographs of of her 14 year old daughter and got caught. My son was not involved in the photographs thank god. So here I am one day living my life and over night they tell me that i can get sole custody of my son. my life has been turned upside down over night but I am happy to finally have my son here at home for good. I will be spending a lot of time in Ohio appearing in court and visiting my son and preparing him for the move home with his dad.

Covered In Smoke
The entire city of Santa Cruz is covered in smoke from the fires in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The fire is in Corralitos which is south of where we live but the smoke is every where. I saw Arnold Schwarzenneger yesterday. He has been in the area discussing the plan of attack that the fire crews have. I will keep you guys posted if the fire starts coming our way.

Getting Better Every Day :)
Finally things are starting to turn around. Adam finally found a full time job with benefits, I changed jobs and now I am in less pain with my hip. So finances will be getting much better soon. We both have quit smoking almost a week ago and that is going well. Adam and I have worked out most of the kinks of us living together and are getting along well.
