Yesterday was my oldest brothers 65th birthday.
A milestone in ones life, a day that we should have a birthday party where everyone dresses in black, and laughs and calls you old.
My brother didn't get that chance. Instead, he got a phone call to go to Grant Medical Center. His son was in an accident. He had died upon arrival.
Teenagers, in a minivan, laughing, not paying attention pulled out in front of my nephews motor-
cycle and killed him.
What is the reasoning behind this? Why does youth not see how precious life is? They are so careless with their own, that they are a danger to everyone else.
My family has lost one of its most precious jewels.
His name was William J Culp II. He was a veteran of 3 wars, and was still an active National Guardsman.
This young man served as a medic in war zones, and he came home from Iraq in February. He and his beautiful wife of 7 years had no children, they were hoping to within the next year. Now, sadly, she is left a widow, without children by her high school sweetheart, her husband, at a very young age.
We are all heartbroken, especially my brother, who lost his 1st born, his legacy, on his 65th birthday.
I love you, Billy Joe. Happy Birthday!
I love you, Billy, Rest In Peace!
God bless us all!!!
