Question... how is saying I'll unsubscribe to a lounge if it's the only way to stop their owners from filling my inbox with messages to come into their lounge (note: not personal messages per se- but form BS.) threatening someone?
Let me go back and give you the full story...
I keep getting these messages from the owner of a lounge saying if I haven't been in there recently I should come in. It's always the same message (and I had gotten it from some one else in another lounge before also- I blocked that woman.) and it's from the same guy. I sent him a (NICE!) message asking if he had anyway to prevent from sending me the message. No response.
Fine whatever.
I get another message so I head into the lounge to ask there. I know the other owner is always in there when I've been in there so she should know. I don't get an answer and get told to keep drama out of the lounge and to take it to shout or yim. Well if I had gotten a fucking answer in the first god damn place I wouldn't have had to go in there.
Fine WHATEVER.
I send the person who sent me the message another one... not as nicely this time. Basically I said I don't want to get theses messages and if I had to, I would unsubscibe to the lounge. (I hadn't because a friend of mine asked me to join- a staff member but not one of the owners.)
Today I get a response. From the guy's fiancee. (on his account- is that allowed? Bah, not important.) She said she reported me to fubar and sent them my message and told me to not threaten him.
How did I threaten him?
What the hell is fubar going to do- since they state explicitedly that they don't moderate member disputes. If I lose my account over this I will be pretty damn pissed. They refuse to do anything when some asshole claimed he could shut my computer down (I doubt he was smart enough to- but its the principal of the matter.)
Seriously though- I'm done with lounges. They're fucking worse that goddamn yahoo chat rooms. High school drama.
Does fubar have a policy against spamming inboxes?
I doubt it.
