I was talking this guy recently and everything was going great. I think it was more sexual than anything though. He happend to tell me he loved and then the next day totally went back on and said he didnt mean it. This guy totally knew I was in love with him then on top of it he went and took out another woman an older woman about 11 year older than him to top it of and right in front of me. Right then... There are too many times in my life where I've asked myself way too many questions. Now, for the sake of brevity, I'll not get into to too many of them, but consider this. Why would it be that the one you love says that he/she loves you, but shows nothing of the fact? Why is it the one you love, is the one that hurts you the most? Those are some of the ones that are simple... But the one thing that I've found to be true is this, in a world of inconsistency, the only thing consistent is inconsistency. I know it's a jacked up thought, but think of it. We say that we love someone, and we say that we care. But in the end, it ends up being the one we 'love' that we hurt the most. The jackass that you meet on the street could care less about you, and most the time vice-versa. Such A Sad Comentary
How sad is my life.... We needed some stuff from the store esp with the ball coming up on saturday so I decided to go to walmart. But not wanting to drag the whole fam damily along opted to go at 8:30 last night. the 8yr old had a fit cuz i wouldn't take her but the 3 yr old was peacefully snoozing in his bed. Let the hubby know I was leaving and out the door i went. As I was leaving the base I was amazed by the sense of freedom i felt. I could have my radio on any station in the truck, window down, singing to something other than kiddie songs. I was able to take my time in the store, not rush thru cuz the kids were cranky. I was gone for an hour and a half and it felt great! How sad my life has become that a solo trip to wallyworld is the highlight of my day. Maybe this is a sign that i have been to intent on my family's needs and not my own. Oh well.

Just A Quickie
Just a quickie this morning. Grandpa Dick collapsed last night and is in the hospital. Nothing to do with the infection in his leg. They are running tests this morning to see if they can find the cause. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Still have something alive in my basement... Temps are wonderful. 60's and 70's the next few days before dropping back into the 40s for the weekend. Pluto is loving it ... he is able to spend the afternoons outside with the warm temps. I Am In Emmen, The North Part Of Holland

When Will It Be Over???

So today is my youngets daughters birthday...she's 7 now! God how fast they grow up makes me sad sometimes! 23 How Often Should I Do It?
I just couldn't avoid using that title. The most often reply I get from most is every day, others say 2-3 times a day. But wait, this thing is about getting in shape and we already talked about sex as a way to get fit. As far as workouts go the quantity is very important if you are going for a championship. Back when I was racing a lot I learned, very often in brutal ways, that the ability to train a lot was probably more beneficial than having basic talent in an event. Everyone has more capability than they use except in extreme circumstances so the ability to train hard brings those capabilities into your growing list of things that you've got available. Very few of us are going to want to get to that level and certainly far less want to pay the price that it takes to get there. So, our question here is how much should I workout in order to get what I want. Everyone has different ability to recover from exertion. Everyone will be sore to some degree and it takes time

So life is great right now..... why cause I got a raise at work I now make 8.50 and going to get another one soon cause it will be my year anniversary. The only thing that is sad is that Dianna one of my dear friends is going to be having a baby soon and I cant be there. Although i do miss all of my friends in MN that include kitten, anners, and kevera I love all three of them. They helped me through some tough stuff and it is hard being so far away from them but I guess i had to grow up and fly on my own. Ick I hate growing up lol. So yeah I got my palms read at a Womans Expo I went to it was kinda lame but interesting at the same time. She told me that I would have a good year and so far I have to admit life hasnt been that bad on me this year. I actually look forward to what might happen this year and I am trying to be smarter. Okay... having said that, last night i went and saw the movie 300. I have to say, while it is not my favorite movie of all time, it likely ranks up there in my top 10. Before you judge me as someone who says so only because of the gore or violence, let me reassure you, it is much more then that. Frank Miller, while sensationalizing this semi-epic event, actually managed to stay fairly true to actual events. Again, over dramatization occured, but it DID start off as a comic book. The director and visual effects crew literally used the comic as their storyboard much as was done with Sin City. A marvelous job and I look forward to seeing it again.

Moving To Sarasota
After working as an environmental engineer in Ohio for the past 9 years, I have decided to take a position with a firm in Sarasota, Florida. This is a great opportunity for me and my family. OK. The evidence is compelling - and the evidence proving that Global warming is not 'man-made'. we don't even contribute. I am a 'green' person. I believe in recycling, preserving & rebuilding the rainforests, clean air, mankinf living in harmony with it's surroundings (oommmmm). But the effect of anti-emissions policies is having a negative effect on the global economy and teh developing world/ Here are the facts; 1) The western world takes it for granted that 'global warming' is ebing caused by greenhouse gases. 2) greenhouse gases are natural gases that exist in the troposphere - up to 20km into the atmosphere. 3) CO2 is an example of a greenhouse gas. This makes up a tiny percentage of the atmopshere (less than 1%) 4) other sources of Carbon dioxide emmission include - Volcanoes, Plants, animals, the oceans...all of these vastly outweigh the amount that mankind contribute. Mankind's emissions take up about 3% or so of the yearly carbon emissions. Conclusion

These people mean well, but are completely without a clue. It Sucks Being Single

My Story!
Originally posted on wendsday may 24, 2006 my saddness an explanation this is my story: I have 3 children a 5 year old a 2 year old and a 1 year old(boy boy girl) now my 5 year old has been through a lot in his short life his father was abusive to me and my son thought he could protect me but their isnt much you can do when you are only a baby. Well by the time he was 2 he had a mental breakdown, biting himself, hitting his head against walls, putting himself in corners, screaming and crying. It broke my heart! Well when I was 7 months pregnant with my second son my ex decided that he didnt want us anymore and dropped us off in california (this being where I am from anyway) shortly after having my son I got pregnant again and had my daughter exactly a week shy from my middle sons birthday! More About Me
Well let me see, On January 20, 2006 my late wife was diagnosed with cervical cancer. We decided that she would have a radical hysterectomy performed. Once the Specialist got inside to do surgery it had spread to her lymphnods so he closed up and informed us that she had to undertake radiation and chemo which she did. Rad every day for 8 weeks and 6 chemo treatments. In the first couple days of Aug 06 she was given the all clear. Then by the end of Aug she was diagnosed with a reoccurence and another round of chemo was ordered. By the 1st of Oct she was admitted into the hospital due to nausea and they found a block intestine. They worked to get her blood count up enough for surgery and on our 3rd anniversay she was taken into surgery to try to reroute the intestine. That was unsuccessful as well and I was told that she only had 3 to 5 months to live but to expect 1 month to 1 year. She was discharged to go home with hospice care and a moriphine pain pump. Ok this really sucks. Here it is 3:05 in the morning and I really should be in bed but I'm not. Why you ask, because my back is killing me. It hurts all the way from my lower back to my shoulders and I can't get it to stop. I have taken everything I can think of to help that won't knock me on my ass. I have to be at work at 8 am. I tried to go to bed but couldn't get comfortable. I really hate this. Luckily we have what is called "slow time" at work. Many times i've been told that if a man ever wants to reach his paradise he has to pay the devil first. Over the past two months, my boxing training has been excruiating. Between the diets, blows, and insane workouts I have been pushed to the very brink. I have lost 20 lbs, am a lot faster, and have reached new levels of stamina. Yet its not over... I have realized once you climb the mountain there is yet another to climb. Through mental and physical discipline, I have been reborn. Each slice of pain has been worth it to reach the next stage. All Hell And Then Some
Just as I thought things couldn't get worse, it does. I have to have surgery on my left knee on the 29th, and I have absolutly NO ONE to fuckin help me with my home or my daughter afterwards. So I'm fucked, royally. Friday, I have to get some testing done and be examined to see if I have epilespy, because Thursday, I felt like I was having a panic/anxiety attack, but my face, hand, and feet went numb and tingly, my whole body started shaking really bad, and I was crying uncontrollably, and my dr agreed that it could have been a mild epileptic seizure. I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance WITH my daughter, and all they did was checked my heart rate, blood, and to see if I had a fever. Why the fuck didn't they do any testing on me that day? What An Effing Day....
Today was supposed to be an interesting day. It was only me who didn't know just how interesting it was going to get.... I was supposed to go to the Tacoma Art Museum today with a friend to see the exhibit about Frida Khalo and her life. I love Frida, she's one of my favorites and I was so glad when he suggested we go. His wife, though she has a great artistic sense, doesn't like museums which I love so it was perfect. Well...as some of you can tell, I havent been around much. Life has been crazy, chaotic, entertaining, sad...but most of all full of change. I am keeping my options open and always ready for a challenge...needless to say the last few months have challenged me. I went to Ohio and buried my mother a few weeks ago. It was kinda a surreal moment in time, if that makes any sense. I was surrounded by family that I hadnt seen since the last funeral 20 years ago. It was a happy time, but mostly a time to reunite and realize what is important and that is family. All In A Days Work
I thought I would share something funny with all of you. A few years ago I had to have a histrectomy done, so we sat down and told our now 11 year old who was 7 at the time that he would be the only child. I at the time had a knock out mechanic wroking on out vehicle at the time.
