Time To Go Back To Work?
Alright folks, gotta be honest! Since i came here in Chicago i dawdled a little bit more than i expected. I needed some rest. Now my time in Chicago is almost finished. I didn't find any interesting job here. Then, in the last two weeks, a turning point, two big chances. Unexpectedly. From a relative who knows a VIP here in the States. She is gonna help me out getting an interview in a big company in North Carolina. They have offices in Chicago as well. So that's a good news. Environmentalist Don't Get It
A few moments ago I heard a commercial about ethanol production. The farmer said "Its wonderful that we can plow our fields in the spring, tend our crops during the summer, harvest during the fall and convert the crops to fuel our tractors the next year" This is a wonderful way to have your farm up on the auction block the following year. As to produce enough corn to convert to fuel to plow the fields would require 1.5 acres per 5 gallons of ethanol. The only farm land that could produce enough fuel to run the farm and produce a profit would be huge corporate farms where million dollar harvesters could farm maga farms to keep the cost of production down. This would cause the price of corn for food supply to skyrocket as large tracts of land are converted to fuel production so that at some point it would cause the farmer to stop growing for fuel as the profits would be greater to produce for food stocks. "And the cow is on the other side of the fence. And the calf is stuck and it can't get out," said Jessy Coltrane of Alaska Fish and Game. Enter two biologists with a plan: believe it or not, it involved a ski pole, a net and a long canvas strap. As neighbors looked on, the two were able to thread the strap down the hole and around the calf. They were then able to pull the animal to its freedom. Miss N.j. Receives 2nd Blackmail Package
Yesterday at 3:52 pm Miss New Jersey has received a second threatening package from someone trying to blackmail her into relinquishing her crown, her attorney says. Anthony Caruso, an attorney for Amy Polumbo, said that he was notified about the package Saturday and that it contained a threatening letter and possibly new photographs of the 22-year-old woman. Caruso would not comment Sunday on the exact contents of the package or say who received it, but said he had given it to state investigators. Polumbo announced Thursday that someone was trying to blackmail her with old photographs and demanding that she give up her crown by Friday. Yesterday
Well it was my husbands 36th birthday and he didn't have a good one, poor man had to work from 2:30- 10:30.. I've been so busy that I had forgotten to get him a cake and or any gifts which really sucked but ordered a party size pizza fer when he came home maybe I'll get em a little something today to make it up,, plus well he got some LOVE last night so I guess all in all it wasn't that bad...lol....

Dreams
Last night I had this strange mixture of nightmares and really good dreams. I think I'm dealing with what happened before I left and was thinking about someone in Charlotte and over loaded my brain. I wish I could have only thought of Charlotte and then maybe all my dreams would have been good. We also had a discussion about the L word before we went to sleep and I realized I'm afraid to fall for anyone ever again. It Must Be Fate ....
So my Sis & BFF Persia had a set of 18th Century replica iron shackles she acquired last year. Some how she had lost them and has been trying to find them for the last several months. This past weekend she finally found them again, in her room. :) It must be a sign. Just like in Cinderella, if she finds the man that fits those shackles, she will find her true love. I wonder how many Prince Charmings will line up for the fitting. :)

I'm finally home for good for a few months!! J.C. will get to come home on either Wednesday or Saturday depending on what the insurance company says. I don't have to go along to get him though because mom and a friend of his are going up to get him because he will be on a walker so it'll leave more room in the car without my chair being in the trunk along with the walker and all his suitcases etc. He is doing much better but may still have some problems for the rest of his life but at least it won't be anything that can't be managed somehow. I just got home lastnight so I've just been unpacking and relaxing and getting things back to normal. Well, I'm going to end this here, have a great day everyone.

Life
As this is my 3rd pregnancy,i never had complications with my other 2 children.Well i had a very early ultrasound because im high risk.Well at 7 weeks they should of seen something in the sac,but there was nothing there.So they are thinking that it is a very early pregnancy or that there is something wrong with the development.So im sitting here playing a waiting game to even see if there is a little person inside of me.Its hard to even think about having a D&C done.All i do is cry.I cant eat or sleep.Everyone keeps telling me that i should make myself so stressed out but it is very hard for me as a mother to not stress or worry.I am the one carrying.So untill Thursday i get to sit here on strict bed rest and let my thoughts ramble in my head!!

Just as the Citizen Bank branch opened Saturday morning, a man walked in with leafy boughs duct-taped to his head and torso, and robbed the place. "He really went out on a limb," police Sgt. KATY, Texas - Writing "I love Alex" on a school gymnasium wall brought a 12-year-old the same punishment as if she had made terrorist threats. The Katy Independent School District rated the message, written with a baby blue marker by sixth-grader Shelby Sendelbach, as a Level 4 infraction — the same as for threats, drug possession and assault. Only murder, gun possession, sexual assault and arson are considered more severe by the suburban Houston district. For her punishment, Shelby was assigned to an alternative school from Aug. 27 through Dec. 21. 11-year-old Charged With Driving Drunk
MIAMI (Reuters) - An 11-year-old girl was charged with drunken driving after leading police on a chase at speeds of up to 100 mph that ended when she flipped the car in an Alabama beach town. ADVERTISEMENT A video camera in the police car captured the look of surprise on the officer's face when he approached the wrecked car and got a look at the motorist. The Mobile Press-Register newspaper said the patrolman saw the Chevrolet Monte Carlo speeding and flashed his lights to signal the driver to stop. Talent On My Street - Local Street Art
well some call it art and some call it an eye sore ... I think its beautiful. I grew up on these streets and have grown to really appreciate street art. this video hit the spotlight on channel 10 news only a few nights ago. council are far from happy that street kids have inked an old hospital which has been sitting languishingly waiting to be demolished. my question is why is it so bad for the kids to use these old walls and concrete as a canvas? after all come 12 months all that shall remain is rubble. anyway check this video out, it has been shot in my home city of Adelaide. hope atleast the people who can appreciate street art, like these kids work.

Great Weekend Finally Over...
Good Morning, wow that was some weekend and it actually started at 3:30 for me on Friday. The event was a couple’s best ball scramble. Which really turned out to be the guys against the guys other then Kate who was at least a 20 handicap and plays often. I would name more names but it would be a who’s who of names and the only names you might recognize would be Bonnie, Mandy and Jax who all had partners (I was Bonnie’s naturally) and all had fun other then Mandy who was doing terrible and like her dad wears her heart on her sleeve when he does bad. But we got her to smile and the match was a success. However, I did not turn out to be on the winning team and we were actually 8 stokes off the leaders which were Brian and Kate. Today I also found out that baby Elizabeth Dugar is sick in the hospital at St. Jude's with a bacteria infection that she has been batteling with for a week now. She has one more chemotherapy session to complete and she can not get it until the bacteria infection is dissolved. Alot has happened within an extreme amount of time. People that were once here are no longer...faces that I could have seen at any time have be covered. *forward*- I wrote this blog for a class. I had to do reflections on my time working at meals on wheels. I saw a stat on suicide and the elderly. This is my blog on it. *end forward* Instead of harping on and on about how much I get annoyed by my job...I'm going to do a serious reflection on an issue from my last entry. The entry below citizenship. Suicide...it's not pretty. Why people do it is sometimes hard to grasp. I like to think that everyone at some point has thought about doing it. SICK m'fer Notes: From Missy's rescuer: After having to put a sick dog down, I was pretty much set that I was tired of going to the Pound. Well, on that same day, at night - I found Missy- not even 3 year old Dane Girl. Emaciated, HW positive, massive Phermitria, Mastitis, skinny as a bone,sweet as can be. She also has lacerations on her throat, by her ears, like somebody attacked her or wanted to cut her throat. Missy had to be rushed to the vet's office. She could not even lift her head. She was put on IV for 3 days, hoping she will regain some strength. On the 3rd day the vet perform surgery. Missy survived. Missy is now in recovery. She will need to gain a lot of weight before we can treat her Heartworms. Once all is done, Missy will need a home where she will start a new life. My Weekend

Everyone - the Florida Greyhound rescue world has been dealt a devastating blow this week - the Melbourne race track is closing early this season and over 300 dogs are in danger of immediate death - This terrible situation created by the Melbourne track closing is going to be bad over the next 2 or 3 weeks, but particularly in the next week. The pets waiting in line to get out of Sanford Orlando will be put down to make room for the active racers being moved from Melbourne if we don't get them out of there. Blessed Travels Garen
Garen was a 6 year old that came to me 2 days ago..severly dehydrated with multiple infections. A handsome ferret with cole black eyes deeply sunkin into his head from illness. He fought the good fight with me but did not make it. I finally took him to bed with me at 6am this morning. Realizations
I have had a very interesting day to say the very least. Today has been very emotionally taxing. I’m going to be completely honest when I say that I had a break down today like one I have never had. I had two things happen to me in very quick succession and it broke me down and reduced me to a puddle of tears. It takes a lot for me to admit that I was that weak, but I was. According to the Altarus Records news page, Sorabji's Concerto per suonare da me solo is receiving/has received its premiere recording. (Written 1946, first performed publicly by Yonty Solomon in 1978.) The only time to date I've ordered from Records International is to get Altarus' recording of Sorabji's second piano sonata (an earlier, less characteristic work, somewhat longer- though still only about an hour, unlike some works of his - but lacking his greater feeling for form in later works, I think... still, enjoyable.)

Transformers, Move Out!!
I treated myself to the movie, went at 930am to the local cinema which has a DLP setup, just like the hi def tv here at home. I was in the theater with maybe 20 other people. The special effects are awesome, the bots going into and out of vehicle mode was great. very smooth, and life like. I normally don't get excited by a movie or characters, but with this one I was getting wrapped in the story. Definitely an Autobot fan. If you haven't gone, go, it is one of the best ways to 2.5 hours in a fantasy world.

The children love so honestly. We as adult's sometimes blame others for the wrongs we have done. It's so easy to blame someone else. When does a person decide to take reaonablitity for your own actions. When does it all stop with putting someone on the curb? When does it stop for a person to disrepect someone for many years?
