Iron Man
I had heard such good things about this movie, I couldn't wait to see it. I was never a fan of the comic book, found it boring, but had heard nothing but good things about the movie. Robert Downey Jr was great as Tony Stark, Iron Man's alter ego. Genius, Industrialist, cocky man about town...he nailed it. Excited
Well some of you already know that myself, my sister and my brother have started a non-profit organization. Well back in December we were told about a camp called Camp Janus that works with burn survivors. So we asked for an application to volunteer. We all filled one and and sent them in and i glad to say that we were chosen to go and help out with this camp. We have had an awesome time every time we go to the hospital to give out stuuffed animals and other things to these kids. So we are relly looking forward to going to this camp this weekend. While we are there we have been that there will be a TV network that maybe coming to do a story on the camp. Also there is a game show called YUCK that will be there doing games with the kids so there is a good possibility that we will be on TV. Just Got Home
Hey everyone! We just got home last nite it was a pretty nice trip! My daughter is doin a lil better shes not runnin a fever anymore but still has this nasty ass cough! The kids were so excited to see grandma and grandpa! As soon as we got there they took off and we didnt see much of them. The Hospital Visit
OK just to let yall know this is goin on myspace and fubar so if its kinda confusing thats why. not alot of ppl on fubar knew this but for a long time i was having trouble with my leg. It started in feb. were the pain was just annoying. as time went on though it got worse. Another Tuesday

It's weird how addictive Fubar is, I haven't been on here for months, save the odd login/logout. Now all of a sudden it's drawn me back in. Volume Xxxix - Monotony, And Other News
At times, the routines of day-to-day life...though the routine has changed somewhat significantly over the past couple of months...still takes its toll on this carbon-based life form. Since my separation, in early April, I've been immersing myself in work, in an attempt to occupy myself. (Fubar has greatly helped as well.) My Grandma In Memoriam
Well, my Grandma's funeral is in about an hour and a half. I found out this Sunday morning that she was ill and in the hospital. For some reason I felt I needed to go to her side immediately. So, I booked a flight and got to the hospital in LA by about 8:30 pm that night. Most of my family had been there and some were still by her side. It was hard to see her so fragile. My Day....
Well the day went well...showed up back at work at 5:45am....Coworkers were very welcoming. Asked me where I had been I told them...very sick. MRSA. Update To Something Else For Me To Think About
For the full background on what is going, read my previous blog entry. Here's the update: I spoke with my Brigade CSM before I talked to my S-3 or S-3 SGM. I went to him first for a reason, because if I went to the others first and asked permission, and they said ok, but the CSM said no, it was pointless. If I spoke to him first, got his approval, he could help me get approval from the S-3 and SGM. CSM said that I had actually thought it out quite well, asked me how it would affect home, and I explained it would be a little bit more beneficial because I would be able to save the money, and let the Army pay to fly me home on leave, thus allowing me to better enjoy the time with my kids and try to do something really special with the time. Even if it is just renting a cabin in the woods for a week or taking them fishing, the stuff that they and I will remember for our lives. That and if I go back stateside for 9 months, and deploy, it would probably be worse on us all than i

If you want to know what I lied about, check my blog entry "Cleansing and Purging" I lied about the sobriety thing. I've fallen back on old habits. A guy who purchased his lovely wife a pocket Taser for their anniversary submitted this: Last weekend I saw something at Larry's Pistol &; Pawn Shop that sparked my interest. Friday Night Fun
Played darts with some neighbors and my daughter last night. We have a set up in the garage so we tend to blast music, toss back shots of whisky, drink ice cold beer and see if anyone can beat me! hahaha! The more I think about this site the more it gets under my skin. Before the question is asked, let me answer. I'm only here because I'm bored, and given the entertainment factor has worn to nearly nothing I'll likely be gone soon anyway. Working Weekend
It's really a bi*** when you have to take work home and do it on the weekend, missing out on stuff with your friends just you and your little lonesome. The great thing about that is I just put on my playlist and relax and do what I have to do, stopping from time to visit all my friends here. Today, for some reason (God only knows, these thoughts pop into my mind at random, lol) I heard "Sounds of Silence" by Simon and Garfunkel, and was thinking of how in this day and age we do more and more communicating by internet and email, how we are robbed of the human touch, even though some touch us very deeply, though this is very rare.
