Ever been addicted to a person? Like not codependent, cause u dont need them to validate your existance but whatever they say/do u forgive and u go right back whether it be friendship relationship, familial ties... first step of any addiction recovery process. admit you are addicted I am addicted to J... that said.... I just dont know what to do. I have heard people say sometimes that life is over rated. Well..is it? At times, I certainly think so. New Family Possibly

American Gangster
Last weekend I went to see American Gangster with Denzel Washington and Russel Crowe. Overall I thought it was a good movie, not a great one. It was probably apropos that a commercial for the Sopranos Video collection ran prior to the movie, as that was what it felt like, a 2 1/2 hour ep of the HBO series. Maybe its shows like that that desentize us to the violence so movies like American Gangster don't have the same impact that classic movies of this genre, like Casino, Goofellas, or the Godfather had when I saw them the first time. Poor Remy
Remington Steele, my new kitty, had his "little snip" today. He's home now, and relaxed, but he has to take antibiotics for the next week, because when they were prepping him for the anaesthetic, they noticed a rattling in his lungs. Poor guy has a cold/infection in his nose & chest. I hope it hasn't spread to any of the other cats. He has had his first dose of the meds and gets his next as soon as I get up in the morning. For now he's enjoying cuddling the catnip squirrel and purring loudly. Apparently he was quite the flirt with the ladies at the clinic too, purring and cuddling every time they went near him. They're lucky they haven't had to endure the after effects of his surgery -- he has the worst flatulence I have ever encountered from a cat.

Ok so I was driving today through California and I Had my C.B. on(the radio in a semi that us truckers use to talk to each other). Stuck
I feel pretty stuck right now. I was SUPPOSED to move out soon with my best friend, but now she has decided she wants to leave the country instead. Which is fine, but she is very indecisive about these things. One second she wants me to get a job out of the country, the next second she is buying a house and I am to be her roommate, and now she is back on the leaving the country thing again. I can't keep up. If she leaves the country I probably won't be able to go so I guess I will be stuck at my parent's house until I can afford a place of my own, on my own. Which shouldn't take too terribly long but I am a little bummed out. A.) I was getting excited about moving out and B.) I don't want my best friend to leave the country, but what can you do? I'll just keep working my two jobs and being miserable as always ;)

Low On Sex
If my sex life was like a gas tank, I'd be on E. Not because I want it that way, but 'cause my hubby works so dang much. I think I need to get me to the gas station.... I just finished a really good book by Vila Spiderhawk, Hidden Passages: Tales to Honor the Crones. A fantastic book if I do say so myself. I had a hard time putting it down once I started reading it! I am home alone tonight with my 2 sons. I told them to be home at a certain time and neither one of them made it home on time! What to do, what to do? Hey stranger !!! .. sorry I havnt been around much .. between work .. running my sister to all her doc's appts .. and everything else ive been somewhat swamped ... and to top things off . I not only have yet another cold from hell . but tonite as i lay in bed reading I bit my damn tongue and it bled for over 1/2 hour .. ( note to anyone who does this in the future .. How Much Is Enough?
For anyone who has read my other blogs, you know I am in love with a man who is suffering from a devistating illness that is eating him away from the inside. Every passing day he endures pain and frustration with such grace. I was talking to a friend about him and he told me that my love is the bravest man he ever met. I agree wholeheartedly. They have another serious diagnosis for him. I know this is horrible. He had an amputation and they are considering more radical treatments (and possible amputations) for him. I am losing him slowly and painfully.I just wish I was able to have the means of going to Texas to stay with him for a few days..If anything. I know this is a huge issue right now, and personally even though I'm not involved I have been going back and forth on how I feel about it. I mean, writers absolutely should get royalties on Itunes and downloaded shows/movies. It's the same issue (with different terms) as earlier this year when writers sued the New York Times for only buying print rights to articles, but putting them up online as well. There are so many different rights these days. Each media is a new one-- Print, electronic, audio, merchandising... How would you, as a writer feel if a magazine bought your story for a print anthology (paying you an advance and then royalties), then released the anthology in ebook form and said that those sales don't count toward your royalties at all. That's what the strike is about. It didn't really hit home for me until I read this blog. Not so long agao, a 53 year old man had his dog taken off him and destroyed simply because he couldn't pay the exuberant fees to own athe animal. I am home for dinner for a little while before heading out for another night time meeting....and then another meeting tomorrow night too. Today has kinda sucked! A couple of months ago my middle son got kicked out of school for various reasons... He's no saint by any means but the reasons they gave were really lame. So, today my youngest has been being harassed really bad by this kid... the faculty did nothing to help him. Well yesterday they got in a fight. Scared To Death!!!
K...I am on my way home from dropping my daughter off at a friends house. As I'm driving through town I start to go past a car on the other side of the street...suddenly the passenger side door flies open and what looks to be a teenage boy just falls out of it. I am like OH SHIT!!! The car pulls off to the side of the street as any normal person would. I'm thinking the door popped open and this kid fell out. When the initial shock of watching this wears off I realize, if he had been in the backseat on the drivers side, I would have run him over! November 6
Well... Today started off okay. I woke up at 8am than took a shower. I cleaned my basement =). I swear my brother is soo lazy. He is like 20 and can't even clean up after himself. COMEON!!!
