How Go's It
Just thought I would send you guys a note to let you know how things are going here. On Monday, we got measured up for our Desert Camo uniforms and then we sat through a whole day of briefings. Very informative, but many of them were directed more towards folks with wives (or husbands) and small children. The actual training briefs were very interesting, though....and gave me some insite on what I should expect when we report to Ft. Jackson in April. Looks like the Army is going to put us all through a mini boot camp again. Also looks like I'll be learning hand-to-hand combat as well as learning how to clear buildings as part of a sweeper team. Not sure if I'll really be doing THAT when I get over there, but I guess we all have to learn it anyway. The Joys Of Being A Momma
I became a mother at a very young age, which for my generation that's normal. I was just barely 18 when I had my first daughter and I had my last daughter when I was only 20. I was pregnant for nearly 3 years back to back. They are close now, more like best friends. I love that, but until they started to what little they do for themselves now my life was busy..lol! I have worked hard to show my children right from wrong and I still have a lot of teaching to do as they are still very young. The oldest is 6 then they stair step from there 5, and 4. I know that all the things I teach my children are important, thus the reason I put forth the effort. However I also know that no matter what I teach my children I can only hope that in the end they follow my instruction rather than that of someone else. Put a big ol' high flow air filter in my car, This thing is in the shape of a cone and has a cone of filter going down into the top for even more flow. Well here is the problem the durn things works pretty good but it's worse than a new vette, you know where you punch the throttle once your mileage goes down 5 or more mpg. Well, this one you punch the throttle of my 2.2L ecotech it drops like 10mpg, and this isn't really a solid punch, it's more of a quicker acceleration. So I thought that i might be getting to much air flow for my car in it's current stock condition. Do i need a slightly larger or smaller muffler to truly benefit from that one? ? ? It did seem like something was keeping it from just flying when i really floored it, but i bought a smaller version of that one to see if it works better, still has more surface area than my stock filter. I know that this car can get 48mpg without an air filter I'm just trying to get close to that. just can't figure out what I'm doing

Well I started From Odessa Ne to McCook Ne then I went to Florida stayed there for a few days a rented a motorcyle and just ride for like 3days then we had a Black out 2 Power plants was down A few hrs.Then I reload in Tampa Florida went to Ft.Worth Tx unload there then headed towards Brenham Tx. My Nephew Is On The Way..
My friend just called me to tell me she went into labor. Granted she is a month and a half early but Im excited for the baby. In Mourning, Another Major Life Transition..
I would've thought that I'd be ready for this, but of course,I am not. Gary Lundy, the father of my children, who I left in November 1999, passed away on February 27, 2008 at @ 4:45 p.m. He was in the 4th stage of lung and esophageal cancer and had been through extensive chemotherapy since last February. The cancer had started to leave the lung and attached itself as a tumor on his esophagus and they could not operate to remove it because of it's location near the heart and on major arteries. My son had been living with him since 2004 because he and his dad got along better than he and I did, essentially, he blamed me for the break up of our family. My son decided to stay with him after Gary's family, determining that he should be near his mother who would be responsible for his care, moved him to New Mexico because his father begged him to be with him until he either passed away or got better. I could not deny my son this important, bonding, loving experience with his father so I

Mourning

I have always been amazed how people judge before they even know the person. Is it looks that make you look away, or the fear that one might see though your own facade. I had my bi-weekly conference call today and it kind of pissed me off..Since I have been out of the Marine Corps I have had 3 seperate jobs as a contractor. Every job I have had my project manager has been a complete waste of space..The one I have now is no better...I took an exam almost a month ago and did not pass. I missed it by less then 50 points..Now this exam is in the top three for my field on how difficult it is to learn. As a lot of you know, last week I had the opportunity to go visit Moon in Texas. For the ones who don't know her, she is my best friend!!. We spent an amazing week together. The was no nervousness meeting, it was like we have known each other for years. We flowed in everything we did, from conversations to pillow fights. I can say without a doubt that she is totally amazing!! We didn't have anything planned, which worked well. She has a precious daughter, who took to me so well. She is a little joybug!! So here's the scoop. I was sitting in my class today, and I had just finished smoking my robotics final. I went to check my email and it said I need to call my contact at this place that automates buildings right away. I knew the news was going to be good, because if it isn't they will just ignore you. So I got home, gave my buddy Joe a call.. and he offered me a job programming logic controllers that will control everything in entire buildings from security, to environmental controls (heat, cooling, lights, etc..). I asked him how much.. and he made me an offer, and told me I would get a 4$/hr raise after 90 days. (As well as an all expenses paid week long trip to Chicago for some training.) So.. there's the word. Now I won't have to type it out 15 times :)

Ok, what the heck.. I'll post it here.. Any female in the area looking for a place to share? I say female because before I was married, I only lived with female roommates.
